  1. Yeah, that was a bit irritating. This thread has reached the limit around 6 times already. Either that was poor sarcasm on their part or complete cluelessness.
  2. There was actually discussion on the Sims forums way back when about a race toggle. Apparently an Eastern European customer, who went to great pains to say that she wasn't racist, wanted her towns to be all-white, including adopted children for "aesthetic reasons." Um, yeah. That got closed down REAL QUICK.
  3. Yup, you're right, though it might make the transition to SGR-enabled companions if there were already a few SGR NPCs in the game (assuming there aren't any). Just Google "Gay Sylvari." Actually, any search on Sylvari will probably bring up some commentary on it. There's a bit of the old trolling here and there, but for the most part, the GW2 community at large has accepted it. In fact, I'm the only gay guy in my guild, and I'm one of the few members rolling a human. The rest are going Sylvari just because the starting area and lore are amazing. This is a far cry from the days of WoW's Burning Crusade, when just the hint of "metrosexuality" had guys screaming, "ZOMG, belf dudes are teh ****!!!"
  4. As much as I want same gender romance in SWTOR, I feel that by the time they actually add it, a lot of us on this thread will be playing other games. Guild Wars 2 has an entire species of sexually fluid beings, the Sylvari. One of the major quest lines features a male Sylvari requesting help for his beloved, who is also a guy. And really, it's no big deal. The world didn't implode in GW2's beta over this and people all over the world are still chomping at the bit to play the game.
  5. It's too bad that we're still twiddling our thumbs and waiting for this... but at least same gender relationships can't be blamed for the server merges or the upcoming shift to F2P.
  6. It looks ridiculous. A better move would be the body spin & strike while facing away move that Kira and Nadia have. Fits the name better, too. "Clairvoyant" as in knowing exactly where the enemy is, even though you're facing away from them.
  7. Sigh. A graphical representation around our character would be nice, so we could actually watch fights. One day, maybe? Until then, it's Star Wars: The Hotkey Bar.
  8. YES, PLEASE! I cannot emphasize this enough. This is not Star Wars: The Hotkey Bar, and yet because of necessary procs, I watch the bar more than the actual action far too often.
  9. Just make it a passive. And ditch the floating rocks. It just looks bad, especially when you move and the circle floats *behind* you.
  10. It really seems silly for certain abilities, like Shadow Strike. You're only hitting someone with one blade. It's not like a single blade can't do the same thing...
  11. Echani and/or Teras Kasi non-force melee. I know we get non-force melee with Scoundrels and Operatives, but I'd prefer a non-force melee that actually had a melee basic attack, too.
  12. ^THIS^. I hate the fact that Kira and Nadia both look so much cooler than player shadows with their moves. Why can't they import some of those animations to our moves as alternate graphics procs. Double Strike is sooooo boring. Giving it a second animation that shows up sometimes would be nice.
  13. Wow, no wonder so many people gripe about cover. If it actually worked against more than our mirror class, people might like it a bit more.
  14. Does actual cover's 100% ranged defense when not shooting also apply to Force Lightning attacks?
