  1. Don't bother, 6.0 is coming next week (assuming it doesn't get delayed) and it will change a lot of things. But if you really want to know, I suggest using this spreadsheet.
  2. The double stance bug was in the game for less than 2 months. And ever since it was fixed, Deception got nothing but nerfs (and mind you, it started with 5.0 with Phase Walk taken away). Even when Hatred got a small buff BW nerfed the class as a whole (remember when they changed Shapeless Spirit?). And while sins were in a good position in S1 because of the bug, it was the time, when Arsenal mercs had 3 lives if they were bad and a lot more if they were good, while having insanely high dps and zero energy management. And there were the skank PTs and Juggs with insanely high AOE/cleave damage outputs (and quite often with their pocket sorc healers). We had to wait for a very long time for those to be nerfed. A lot longer than they had to for the double stance bugfix. Btw, you started your list with phantom stride being better than leap. Care to elaborate? Because first of all, it has a much longer cd than leap, can't be used against entrenched snipers and is buggy af, you can consider yourself lucky if it doesn't send you to orbit or gets you stucked in some pebble on the ground - if it teleports you to your target, you can even open a bottle of champagne. Also, noone cares that you've been playing fury for a long time, through fire and water. The past is irrelevant. What's important is the present and the future. And the thing is, fury maras have been one of the best classes for quite some time now and they still will be, while sins get only flashes from time to time and then nerfed because BW doesn't want dps sins to be the meta neither in PvE nor in PvP. And this is clearly reflected on the 6.0 sets, which are a bunch of horsecrap compared to other classes.

Since the issue has not been resolved yet (also, Mr. Musco, we haven't even been given any explanation at all) I'm quoting patch notes 5.9.3: Problem 1: You've never told us what sort of issues were supposed to be fixed by this change, therefore we have no way of verifying if it actually worked or not (given that the abilities still produce the same glitches I'd say not). Problem 2: Previously we could use Phantom stride (and the other 3 abilities) off the global cooldown. After this patch, we cannot. That makes gameplay clunky and inconvenient (and it was a DPS nerf to classes that didn't need it). Also, as the patch notes don't mention that the abilities are on gcd, it's a bug, that's been reported several times yet it's been completely ignored for 5 months now. Note: I'm talking about the 1.5s gcd, not the 0.25s that was added with 5.9.3 Problem 1 can be easily fixed, as it is only a communication missing (c'mon, you can write essays about things only 10 people care about in this game but you couldn't write a 2 sentences long explanation for this). Problem 2 is a bug that I would appreciate if you guys fixed it asap.
  4. I wouldn't mind if the adds (especially berserkers) were tuned down a bit in 16m but 8m is fine in its current state.
  5. Interrupting and cc-ing must be hard if they stunned you 3 times per fight.
  6. Funny to read this comment since both specs are the bottom of their respective categories (Deception is the lowest parsing melee burst while Hatred is the lowest parsing melee dot spec).
  7. Even if it's not a bug, it shows poor design. My sage could choose from MH and OH, which means that if someone kills the bug and the droid with 2 sages/sorcs, he'll have guaranteed MH and OH. Sins and shadows can pick from DPS and tank MH but neither OH options (focus and shield) are available, meaning that you either have to buy those from crystals or pray to the RNG gods that you get it from the Weekly box. Strange thing is that juggs (haven't checked guardians but I guess that's the same) can pick from DPS and tank MH, DPS and tank OH and on top of that the mara OH saber (wth?). Wow Bioware, you do hate assassins and shadows.
  8. Yeah sure, why not delete phantom stride? We don't need that crap anyway, we can just waste one of our best dcd as a gap closer in the first second of the fight. Seriously, why are you defending this change? Or should juggs use mad dash instead of force charge and PTs pop their hydraulics? Sins have this ability for a reason. Sure, we can adjust until this fix is unfixed again but that doesn't mean it should stay like this.
  9. You have to use phantom stride for good DPS to begin with. Why do you comment in class specific threads if you don't play the class? Now you just made yourself look stupid. As mentioned above, using the ability procs various other abilities and as such, it is a crucial part of assassin rotation/priority.

It's even worse as a tank as there is a 1.75 second gap in the opener (1.5 second between Force Pull and Phantom Stride, 0.25 second after Phantom Stride), when you don't generate any threat at all. The 1.5 second between the two abilities is enough for some of the bosses to jump on the tank, who's most likely not in the optimal position. I don't know what you wanted to fix with this change, as the patch description is incredibly vague but please change it back and find another way that doesn't include neither dps nor threat nerf.

Yeah, this is true but let's be honest: if you want to do an 8m operation and you have to choose between a PT and a sin tank, a sniper and a sorc dps (assuming the players are at the same skill level), which ones would you pick as an ops leader? Sins can ignore quite a lot of mechanics, PTs have to eat all of them (and pray to the rng god while doing that). Sorcs are good enough to carry their own weights but they surely won't be able to make up for any missing dps, whereas snipers can achieve very high numbers without breaking a sweat.
  12. Donno, on previous occasions it either autocompleted (when BW introduced the mission and I picked it up with toons that previously completed a couple of conquests) or got the rewards the moment I reached the personal target. Not this time.
  13. The quest seems to be indeed broken since yesterday's patch. I've just finished leveling another toon and picked up the intro mission on Monday, completed my personal target yesterday night and nothing happened. Then I gathered another 5k points to see if having 20k points makes any difference but no, mission is still there, incomplete. Using the priority missions terminal or the dropbox doesn't help.
  14. If you use those relics, your item rating is going to be 220 if otherwise you have BiS gear.
  15. Maybe we should cry as much and as loud as Carnage maras did about their precious Ferocity so BW will hear us as well.
