  1. I have Senya, chose to keep her instead of Koth. Not sure what is going on, trying to get out of the phase to reset it and it seems that I can't even do that... Really frustrated right now
  2. So I've just defeated Novo again (what a derp) and have activated the Penthouse Lift. It goes through a short dialogue from my character and then gets stuck. I've tried logging out, killing the client and rebooting, logging into other characters, etc. Female Cyborg Commando if that makes a difference, have Lana with me. Super frustrating, really enjoying the story so far and now I can't continue *sad panda* Thanks in advance!
  3. This guy has no idea what he is talking about. If your raid didn't bring rogues, they were total bads dude. Rogues and good fury warriors were the highest dps in game at that time in WoW, with gear anyways. Finding the good ones was the problem.
  4. So far, I am loving this! Can't wait to see the single-target threat changes, and overhealing. One idea I have, if you wouldn't mind taking suggestions. Me and my friend would prefer to run this mazimized, but that limits our visual perspective of Mumble. Would it be possible to have a plugin that would create a window in your program for VOIP programs like Mumble, Ventrilo, etc? If you could do that, me love you long time
  5. While it says nothing about increasing damage, which is a bug, it does. Adding that 2 seconds onto the duration = 1 more tick from it. So, find the avg dmg tick it does, and mentally add that to the tooltip. Problem solved
  6. Umm, yeah...Your raising the most overpowered class up right now. Well duh, of course they are going to be out dpsing you and everyone else, IF they know what they are doing. I don't count anyone else being inferior because of that fact, and if anyone does then they are a tool. It's a balance issue, and Mara's will get the nerf-bat here pretty quick. On to the OP's statement: You either aren't optimized correctly, or have no clue what you are doing. SIN dps is comparable to pretty much everyone but a marauder, which no one is comparable to. The fact that you said your dps is lower then "even sorcs" tells me you have no clue what you are talking about. Madness sorcs are one of the highest dps in game currently. All of our dps is top notch, all know what they are doing, have rotations down etc. We usually run 2 arsenal mercs, a sniper, and a madness sorc. The mercs and sniper run anywhere from 1.1-1.3k on a "tank and spank" fight. The sorc, in equal gear and skill? He runs a consistant 10% above everyone else. Also, QQ'ing about something without providing proof of this and then using the worst cop-out I think I have ever seen, obviously points to either being a troll or really having no friggin clue what you are talking about. Just my two cents. And yes, snipers did need that buff. Our sniper is one of the best dps I have ever seen in any mmo, and with Marksmen he was running about 10% lower than our mercs, and that means 20% lower than our madness sorc. Swaps to lethality, which has less utility and no burst to think of, and he can keep up with the mercs at least. So in response to that statement, snipers did need a small boost to keep them in line with everyone else.
  7. Ok, I will be the stupid guy for a second....what exactly was the exploit? I have never even heard of something like this, so I am very curious. Thanks for serious responses
  8. Agreed...tired of all the WoW babies whining about a few changes, especially when hardly anyone has tested them. On the positive note, I will stay subbed to this as I think its a very informative thread. Great work guys!
  9. According to GZ, in this post http://www.swtor.com/news/blog/20120320 you will be able to RE augments that pertain to your skill to get the blue/purple versions as well. So, I'm assuming that if you stockpile the green variants of the ones that your certain CS can craft, than you "should" in theory be able to RE them once 1.2 goes live.
  10. I may have misses it somewhere, but I am curious to know if crafted Columi pieces from Ops schems can be RE'd for a stat boost. I know that crits with them make the pieces (I am a cybertech, so earpieces) BiS, so I was wondering if I can take them a step farther or not.
  11. Simple solution....learn to manage your energy better. Here's the main difference that I am seeing (My main is a 50 Corruption Sorc, healing HM/NMM Ops). IA's are hardly ever constant casting, like a Sorc or BH. When I am healing on my sorc, the only time I am not using a heal or shield on someone is when I am using free Consumptions for force regen. IA's are great healers, my healing buddy is one. With your HoTs and instant-cast heals, you have a HUGE advantage over sorcs and mercs, as the majority of our heals are casted/channeled. Being able to cast your HoT on as many people as you want with no CD is amazing as well. Sorcs get one, with a 6 sec CD. It's just the difference in the play style of each healer. I love it! I hate WoW for the fact that they have made every class/role archtype able to fill in a gap, i.e. Pallies can AoE heal now. Having differences between the classes is what makes each one special, and therefore each one has its own appeal.
  12. Thank god they are! The current content is very lacking imo. I am excited to see 1.2 launch. I really don't care if they've pushed it back to early April, so long as its worth it. And yeah, before the rest of you naysayers post something, take the time to research what you are about to say before spewing crap please. The old adage "Assuming makes an arse of you and me" applies in everything...
  13. Here is what he actually said. Link from Darthhater.com http://www.darthhater.com/articles/swtor-news/19973-guild-summit-stream-live-blog/page-3 "The 1.2 Operation "Explosive Conflict" will be the first "Tier 2" raid instance." "Nightmare mode will be made harder, but needs a lot of testing and will not launch with 1.2 update" This is most likely what you heard. Smart on their part, making sure it works right instead of trying to patch bug fixes later.
  14. I agree, there is plenty that they could have taken from previous games. I also agree that they could be a little more diligent about fixing current content. However, i also understand that this is BW's first MMO. This isn't an excuse, but something I think that should be taken into consideration. Yeah, there are a load of things that "could" or "should" be done, whatever they might be. I give them props for jumping in the pool with the big boys and at least trying to make a decent game. Some of the bugs are very frustrating, and I also find the end-game a little lacking. In the same regard, I also am patient enough to at least give them a chance to get things together.
  15. What? How do you even relate having better technology to this discussion? The only thing technology really relates to is better graphics. And yeah, TOR has WAY better graphics than WoW. The process for making and running an MMO remains the same, and technology has little to no effect on this process. About the only thing that technology would effect in this process is efficiency and quality of presentation (audio and graphics). So please, if I am wrong in this, tell me how. Anyone
