  1. I played the expansion with 2 chars already, now my Imp Agent is 61, I seleted the quest via my ship terminal, I launch, the loadscreen happens, but then BAM I am teleported to the Fleet. I tried to restart the game, I pressed the reset button of the quest, nothing. And for the love of the force: DONT even think to suggest me writing a ticket. I had 2 tickets over time while I played and I never got any GM help other than a MONTHS later reply like "wait for a patch someday". As much as I like SWTOR, as a paying subscriber I find the absence of ingame GMs severly annoying. So, anyone knows anything about this issue?
  2. Ok, now even day one veterans lose their names if we don`t long in now. Sorry, but that is simply outrageous. I lost my names already! They merged servers and my lv 50 Chars lost their names because some lv 10 noob had the name on the new destined server, DESPITE the fact I had EXTRA preordered (the expensive edition for back then 210 Euro, given it was 150 Dollars), ESPECIALLY to have my names reserved. Now 210 Euro, preorder, play from day one and investing TONS of money for almost a year subs and MUCH money into their items shop, I assume I spent 500-600 Euro on their game. If THAT is not enough to keep my frigging names, Bioware and SWTOR can go where the sun doesn't shine!
  3. I just phoned with a friend with whom I had played GW2, and we both had with difficulty managed to solve many of the GW2 jump puzzles. He said, he found jumping iun SWTOR *a lot* more difficult, since the characters in SWTOR react much more cumbersome and slow. Now since I also managed to do the GW2 jump puzzles somehow, and I just fail at them in SWTOR, I guess indeed SWTOR just has a bit an issue with character movement. Maybe they just should not have had a story quest with mandatory jumping with their not so optimal jumping animation.
  4. You know, I dont even mind OPTIONAL jumping, like the GW2 puzzles. But putting mandatory jumping into a story end dungeon... sorry but no. (Having MS in my family, I understand how hard it is even more severe for others.)
  5. Ok here is why. I can't jump. Period. I just CAN NOT jump. I fell into every 2nd chasm, which always ports me back to the start and I am GODDAMN afraid of heights. Like some people are afraid of spiders or what. I just can't jump, when there is a deep chasm below. Virtual or not, it makes no difference. Damn! Why did this story instance HAVE to be in a jumping sequence!
  6. I am always astonished people defend a MMO with every bit and piece, even when it is so obviously flawed as SWTOR. The strength of SWTOR was, it was a story driven MMO, where you experience the STORY of your character. What have grind grind or hardmode dungeons to do in this? Nothing. Not everyone is equally good in the same, some people are good at one thing, other at another. So why should a mostly just fancy companion be unlocked with something so much for a special audience, like a HM dungeon, and a rehashed on that? I do not see how that makes any sense. I thought the idea to add something as legendary as a HK droid in a story driven MMO should be with STORY quests, not gather 5 pieces with the SUPER BORING scanner thing and then a HM endgame dungeon. That makes no sense, it is no story and no accomplishment either. It's cheap, it's boring and it's with the HM mechanic narrowed to endgame experts. Sense, this makes none. Your fanboyism blinds you.
  7. *hand wave* You want to re-read my entire post before replying.
  8. Isn't *every* companion pointless? I mean, when the idea of companions was revealed, I was quite looking forward to this. But now, they are just making up for you being not so strong solo. You + companion = one player in other MMOs. They almost say nothing, I never got enough "love" from most of them to actually start any personal dialogue, and where I did, it was just hollow, pointless bla bla. While every mindless drone NPC tells me his ENTIRE life story, my own companions say almost nothing. I really, really wished Bioware would swapped those priorities and make pointles NPCs talk LESS and companions MORE. As it is, companions are a totally failed game addition.
  9. Seriously, what were they thinking? HK quest demands a HM? Now I tried this with 3 groups, and ALL of them failed with me. I mean, I am a day one subscriber, I put reasonable effort into my level 50ies, but not that grindy super gear. Normal good endgame gear. And we just got owned by these bosses. And no, we KNEW what we were doing. Yea, yadda yadda, you all did it, HOW GREAT FOR YOU. But why the heck does Bioware force a HM on us, who don't like this sort of HM-grind needed to survive? So now you add new content, but limit it to grinders? Well, player Bioware, well played. Like not! Ya know, THAT is what SUX about SWTOR, and why I so passionately hate WOW: They introduced this idea, you need to grind some gear by doing quests over and over in some repetitive grind mill, to "unlock" the same dungeon in a more difficult mode. Why would any sane person enjoy doing the same quests or dungeons over and over? Thats not fun or entertainment, that's a goddamn punishment! This idea of prolonging a game content by grind demands to see some endgame stuff is what I vividly, passionately hate. And especially in a STORY driven Star Wars MMO! Since when does the STORY of a Sith or a Jedi or what contain grinding the same bosses over and over? Thats not STORY, thats bollocks!
Seufz. Sorry. Sorry.
  12. The point is, it is not about some new low level chars I lost my names. Two of them were max level 50, and both were created on day one, I played a lot with them, and I lost my names to some level 3 chars who by all means never are played again. That is just absurd.
  13. You see this was ALL WRONG. Why did they not just merge the servers, and then grant that players the precedent who created his char earlier? I was in preorder EXTRA to save my names. I made those 5 names in the first 10 minutes of SWTOR or so. I think I have a RIGHT to have these names, unless someone really made them before me. Which is close to impossible. I have accepted so many compromises in this game, but not my names.
  14. God, I am so mad right now. You see, the JekkJekkThar finally got it's "merge" with The Harbinger. Now when I moved my chars, I lost my names. ALL OF THEM. Ok save, Elikal, but I lost SEVEN of my EIGHT names. And yes, I understand for some people it means nothing. But you see, I have these same 5 names for 8 frigging years. I am attached to them, some especially. I was Akim TelBane in SWG for 7 frigging years. I was Akim TelBane in EQ2 for 6 years. I was Akim TelBane in LOTRO for 3 years. And they TOOK THE NAME FROM ME. I had extra preordered SWTOR. I had entered the game in the first few minutes to make sure I get those names I always have. Akim, Matteo, Aryan, Sarnok and Elikal. I have these persona every time. Heck, they even more or less LOOK the same, have the same bio. And now, all but Elikal were taken. Chance is by people who cancelled or came much later. This stinks. And for me it is really the breaking point, where I feel like, ok I can't take it anymore. Not ANOTHER compromise.
