  1. About getting the first pvp gear "easy"...i dont really mind people getting them. I have already read posts where someone was complaining about people with crap gear ruining his games because his team was basically a bunch of free kills. I only recently turned 50 and the first WZ's were agony. Dying almost instantly due to not having enough pvp gear (saved 1000/1000 and 1 bag. This has, correct me if i am wrong, nothing to do with skill. I am perosnally leaning towards the idea that pvp should not be heavy influenced by gear. But i like the idea that with pvp gear it should be easier to kill a pve geared person. Moreover I do agree that the "elite" pvp gear should have some extra requirements to get. Lastly...if you dont enjoy the game...see it as a blessing there are a lot more things in life than swtor. And BW / EA's only goal here is to make money, a lot of it. -Vael.
  2. Maybe you should change to "Hello Kitties big adventure".....OR you just play a few levels as operative and see how "OP" they are....
  3. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600GGMRbd0zZbZcMcRsMz.1 This is what i use on lvl 46 and this is mainly pvp focused. From the healing tree i really did not see any point on spending more than 21 points. 20% slow seemed like a cool investment, but you have force slow for the 1v1's. Then 2 points for the 100 force exta (did not skill it yet as i am not lvl46 yet) Lastly 18 points into balance. As sage I love instant spells. This helps a lot when trying to kite melee classes. Casting spell can also be quite frustrating with all the interrupts around. I still did not test the build on lvl50, but so far I really like it. I am usually nr1 healer, but with like 300% more damage than the nr2 healer. I hate myself for stating damage/healer numbers because usually these number do not mean sooo much for me.
  4. Hey thanks for replying, Defo a good comment. While i was clicking around with the calc, I also ditched the focused insight skill. 10% crit is just too good to pass on. The reason why I took healing is because I wanted to start with healing in PVP. But because so far healing is that as good as I expected it to be (read is not similar as in WOW). I think I am going to like it to be able to ditch good damage and at the same time be a quite effective healer... or maybe I am just stubborn.
  5. Lol useless post but forgot to add sub.
  6. ]The reward for open world PvP is the satisfaction of winning on your own terms. -> Pvp minded people can say exactly the same about PVE content. Is killing a boss without getting any rewards satisfactory? My opinion about (world) pvp > pve I find it way more rewarding to kill a human player than to go through several waves of boss fights. Yes it is cool to "master" a boss or world boss, but in the end it will always be the same things; after xx% enrage, after XX deaths selfheal after etc. etc. People still get these rewards, by doing the same dps/hps cycle. Hereby I do not want to downgrade PVE! About the warzone "pvp" ...Huttball... need I say more? I find myself rushing to get the 2,5K heal lol and heal all the time because it will give me moar points. (not to say i dont like it for being rewarded as a healer =) )
  7. Hey Adam, Thanks for helping out here . I am still looking forward to see if this build is going to work, force and hot key wise. I am already totally occupied with all the bind and I am looking forward to throw away spells i do not use that often. The biggest weakness of this specc is the force consumption. I think with all the instant casts, force will run out really fast. Putting 2 points into Mental Longevity will help as 100 force is quite a lot (even though it is just a hard number and in the long term is around 2-4 more casts whereas force reduction talents start to be effective after 10 casts, which brings me to the next point: What is the perfect balance? What if I still have force left, but no health? In other words; will I die with loads of force left, or will I actually kill the opponent and half a sliver of force left because of the extra damage / slow / cc effects. If i want to get the 100 force extra (imo the best option for pvp, because of the shorter life span) I would either lose the capability to slow whole teams or kite 1on1 with weaken mind OR I will lose a very strong instant CC capability. At this moment I am more leaning towards the extra possibilities of slow and instant CC than 100 force....
  8. Why all the hate on the Qyzen? I love his character and he's good at tanking. I am 100% healing specc and that compliments perfectly with him. The other companions will just be slice slaves
  9. I have been playing around with sage and I am still quite low level. My main focus lies with pvping and occasional PVE. When I started to play Swtor I decided I wanted to be a healer. However, after playing a few hours of pvp, my opinion so far is that a healer needs more than just healing skills. This is how I came up with this specc. It has a few slowing abilities and a lot of instant fun and procs. As I did not play in Beta and because I am still very inexperienced in this game I hope you all can help me out with this build. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600GGMRbdbzZZcMfosMz.1 Thanks a lot for the help. Vael.
