  1. I too after being a subscriber since launch have just ended my subscription today. I loved the game when it first launched: the class stories were amazing, the combat was beautiful, and overall I had a wonderful time playing. Now I find myself dreading raid nights. I don't want to log into the game anymore, because frankly the moment I log in I am bombarded with spam, and to even get into content I enjoy I have to sometimes wait an hour or more to even play it. I play only healer and tank roles, mind you. SPAM - From the moment I log in, credit farmers on the fleet from multiple sites clog the already quiet chat (prime time during week MAYBE 80 people on fleet). So I take the first few moments of logging in to report spam, and ignore the user. EVERYDAY I have to do this. I have dabbled in other MMO's that within the first few months of launch take care of ridding their paying customers from these annoying spams. I am fed up with having to wait for BW to address this problem, and it is a problem! I can't speak for everyone, but this does ruin my gaming experience. BUGS- I used to enjoy raids back in the day. Like I said I have been playing since launch, but now I dread raid nights, because of the bugs I encounter every week. Every week we raid Ravagers (and ToS, but I am more frustrated with Rav) and Coratanni almost every week without fail since this ops was released resets forcing our raid to kill her multiple times or until we just give up for the night. QUE TIMES - Many people have left the game. I will not say the server is dead (I hate when people say that) but there is not enough activity to be able to get into flashpoints, gsf, operations, ranked warzones, etc. without having to wait a very long time. There are no cross server ques, which make the wait even longer, and impossible if you are not logged in during peak times. I spend some game nights spending most of my time waiting on fleet, hoping to get a pop. I pay a subscription monthly fee to wait to play? I have realized that is a WASTE of my money. I feel taken advantage of as a consumer. This is a service I pay for, many of you PAY for. If I feel like this service isn't worth the money I am paying it is my right as the consumer to voice why I am unhappy, because maybe my concerns will be heard and changes will be made to a VERY promising game. I am sad to go, but things will not be fixed as long as I (and other subscribers who have accepted this quality of service) dish out our money to them, essentially our consent that says these things are acceptable.
  2. I'll be attending under Juniatistock Excited for tonight!
  3. Good luck on finding a new home. Unfortunately my guild is not that far with progression yet, we only do classic ops at the moment. Hope you find something soon!!
  4. I play on Infinite Gate at the moment as an operative healer and I am usually top heals. Normally around 300k at most I have healed 500k. I am specced 31/3/7. As mentioned above in the longer post I follow most of those tactics on healing, I do have Kolto Infusion in my hotbar, but I never use it in PvP. Surgical Probe is amazing and I use it whenever I have a spare tactical advantage, I make sure I always have one TA up thats a bonus to our healing we can't afford to miss. I also make sure stim boost is ALWAYS active. As for survivability I think we are very hard to kill and have great defensive moves at our disposal. If melee is coming at me I debilitate him (I am specced into lethality where I gain a run boost after debilitate) and create a gap between them and slow them with our throwing knife attack. Usually they find it too much work to follow me after that and attack another player. If I am getting spiked hard I put up shield probe LOS them and heal myself up. If damage on myself doesn't let up I use evasion to take away DoT's on myself and any other tech effect and insta stealth away. That is my life saver, I'll position myself totally different and resume healing as normal. Also I think RN is great, if I have full energy I throw it down to give a nice healing boost to my team, and with full energy it regens pretty quickly after that especially if I follow with a quick Diagnotic Scan. I try to damage as well and throw poison dart around, and shiv people for the TA it gives me. I personally also enjoy cybertech and have made many perma bombs that are great in PvP. I have the fire DoT bomb for spreading some damage, sludge bomb for slowing ball carriers and the mob that surrounds them or creating distance from an attacker, I also use the freeze bomb to stun players and interupt them. I outheal most sorcs, and mercs easily...on my server at least. Operative is a great healer, just takes time to learn I've played my operative since launch as healer spec from the start.
  5. If I had force powers I would heal people and animals that are wounded and inspire communities to be more kind to one another. I would also mind trick my husband, "You will take the dog outside while I finish this PvP match."
  6. Do people not read Dev Posts or the Q&A that they started two weeks ago?? I have to keep relaying information in each post I make it seems. Daniel Erickson: Character transfers between servers are definitely going to be available in the future and we’ll announce details as soon as we have firm dates. So for the moment TBA on server transfers. I hope this also means server merging, although I was lucky in choosing a nicely sized server I feel for the players who are in light servers.
  7. Good news! RN will be buffed in patch 1.2 Georg stated this in last fridays Q&A. Sounds like they're buffing it by making it be 'front loaded'. So I'm assuming an instant heal after popping RN with the HoT applied. Georg said there were other changes too...Anxious to see what they are. *fingers crossed*
  8. **Taken from the February 17th Q&A** Georg Zoeller: "Our stance is that all full healer specs should be viable for all type of content, which is the case, even for 16 man Operations. Our own players have no issues clearing any of the content in the game, on all difficulty levels, with any healer spec. Data from the Live game shows Operations, at all sizes, being successfully run with Commando and Scoundrel healers. It is expected for certain Operations bosses to create challenges for different healer archetypes (e.g. due to mobility requirements), but overall, every healer archetype is capable of successfully healing through any Operations and Flashpoint content in the game (currently and in the future). With regards to your question about Commando/Scoundrel Area of Effect healing not scaling to group size, please understand that no heal, on any class, scales with group size. The most powerful Area of Effect heals in the game (Salvation/Revivification) affects up to 8 players, but does not scale with group size. These abilities are very costly, have an activation time requirement and require the targets to stand in a localized area for ten seconds to receive the full benefit. We plan on improving the overall Area of Effect healing performance of the Mercenary/Commando in the next major Game Update (1.2) by increasing the number of targets affected by Kolto Missile/Kolto Bomb. As for Scoundrels having no tools for short burst healing, we don’t agree with that assessment. A scoundrel, for example, is capable of producing rather significant burst healing output by using Upper Hand gained from Underworld Medicine or Kolto Injection to trigger an instant Emergency Medpack or Surgical probe when needed. That said, we certainly think there’s room for improvements (and our upcoming Game Update 1.2 has a sizeable chunk of such improvements). For example, we are shifting the healing created by the Kolto Cloud ability to be front loaded in 1.2 to allow it to act as an emergency Area of Effect healing tool. Finally, the perception of a specific class being not desirable can also be affected by the desirability of other classes. For example, Sage/Inquisitor healers are currently able to exceed our intended healing performance at times by affecting multiple heals with the same Conveyance/Force Bending buff. Game Update 1.2 will remove the ability to do so." _________________________________________________________________________ +10 Georg
  9. I'm so excited for this to be working properly now. From the way its worded though I wonder if we're getting the SP portion of the talent. Unless the SP buff is already working.
  10. Is there going to be a revamp on the Operative anytime soon? Operative healing is significantly lower than a sorceror's and there are a couple talents Operatives have, such as medical therapy and evasion, that do not work.
  11. Finally! People above me that aren't whining. I am enjoying SWToR so much and now consider this mmo my new obsession. I can't wait to see what BW will add in the game and where it will go. Thank you BW for taking time to do a weekly Q&A. Unlike some people that have responded to this thread I READ it.
  12. Mosrali Exile the Double Agent reporting sir.
  13. I think shield probe should extend to allies as well. Keep the cd of it or make it a little longer so only one person can be affected every 45+ seconds. Sorceror and Bounty Hunter have a shield ability and I think it would be appropiate if IA did too.
