  1. No wonder! I never considered Steam as a source of SWTOR news. I check swtor.com News section and the Developer Tracker.
  2. It would be great if changes like this were warned ahead of time. If I understand what happened; SWTOR is now a full Steam App. Why? After Validating the installation it downloaded some 574 MB of extra stuff. And there were changes with that download. On the game launcher the “Settings” option was removed. Now clicking on your account name only shows “My Account” and “Support”. Need to “Repair” your installation? I guess Steam Validation will have to do. So I’ll wait for the next Patch to see how it’s delivered.
  3. A quick note of two issues i noticed with this mission: 1 - The latest Conquest (Pirate Incursion) is not a valid conquest for the mission so getting this conquest doesn't reward the Character. 2 - Out of the original 4 rewards from the Mission, Grand Chance Cubes were written out of the game. With 6.0 Unassembled Components will also be written off. Because I don't do GSF, for me, this mission has gone from a "must" to a "why bother" Any more nerfing planned? Maybe no XP/CXP? At this point the slot in the Missions Log may become more valuable than the mission.
  4. That is so odd. I clearly remember seeing them earlier this week.
  5. OK, there is something wrong with the system. I already got the set with the original code offer, sent my link to a family member. The website clearly states that I have 3 Redemptions Remaining but when the user tries to use it it gives the error "This shareable link is no longer valid" I check my Account again and it still has 3 Redemptions Remaining and the code Expires: March 31, 2018 I'm at a loss as to what is wrong. A broken Calendar maybe??
  6. This are some that stuck in my mind. Haven't run in to then in a long time so I can guess they had to undergo Character rename. Ronjeremy Twerkinggranpa Jenny Thalia (Say it fast & loud) Kakaseka (Only makes sense if you know Spanish) Baconnator (We can only guess what the player was eating) Microsoft Office
  7. I also ran in to this Bug. I was under the impression that it was triggered if you exited the game while in Section X but my Alignment points were wiped out all the same. Not sure at what time it occurred as I don’t wear Alignment locked gear but I do remember once getting to Stage 2 of the mentioned Bonus mission before ever getting to the area. Since the toon’s Alignment is shot I’ll keep playing in the area until I max out the reputation but afterwards Section X will be Off-limits for all my other toons until they come out and specifically address the issue. And if by any chance Eric or Keith are reading this thread: How about creating a Bind on Pick-Up Consumable that gives the equivalent Dark/Light points of a single level so CS can at least help with this issue while you guys find the Root Cause and fix the bug once and for all? This way if a player is dropped from Alignment 3 back to 0 at least CS can mail 3 of the consumables to the player to regain the lost points. Sounds a lot better than “Hmm, yeah that sucks, make a Bug report”
  8. That’s a tall order. I’m assuming that you will be doing this with a Companion at influence level 50. On my Guild whenever we are planning an easy Tactical Flashpoint we mean [Hammer Station] [Cademimu] [Athis] or [Red Reaper]. I would suggest that you to try to Solo those as Tactical first, before trying the Hard Mode. You can also try [Kuat Drive Yards] but the final Boss (either one of them, I have seen at least 3) may prove quite the Challenge. Steer clear of [blood Hunt] [Depths of Manaan] & [Czerka Core Meltdown], they might be manageable but each has one very unforgiving fight before the Final Boss where any mistake is severely punished. I’m sure that there are others but those are the ones that have always stuck in my mind. Some points to consider: Can you Cleanse? (remove negative effects from your character). Do you have Stealth? (useful to avoid a lot of unnecessary fights). Can your character or companion deliver enough damage to kill the Boss before it enrages? (should it be needed, some Bosses have no enrage timer). Is your companion Range or Melee? (range tend to “stand in stupid” and get killed so you need to keep an eye on them and make them move out of AoE attacks)
  9. For the record I also got my CCs so ….. Than You Eric for looking in to it.
  10. I am also one of those subscribers that saw the promo and didn’t get the Cartel Coins. Now, it’s been argued that it was meant for non-subscribers to start one and “Be a subscriber”. We could also read it as meant for subscribers who were about to let their subscription lapse to renew it and “Be a Subscriber”. The message was too open for interpretation. Clicking on the promo didn’t take you to any page with more defined instructions or rules. I was a subscriber by July the 7th. That was the only parameter established by the promo, not how long I’ve been before or will be after, just “Be a Subscriber”. As it was meant to be a “targeted” promo, I’ll say the targeting system sucks and should be thrown out and started anew, it targeted the wrong crowd. Am I being childish for complaining? I was shown a piece on candy for a while then it’s snatched away because it wasn’t meant for me. Don’t complain when I kick you on the shin because I didn’t think it was funny.
