  1. Have experience up to NIM S&V. Just returned to the game and looking for a home and ops to run. IGN - Setrik
  2. I can tank or dps for ya. Just got back into the game, have experience up to nim S&V. In game name - Setrik
  3. marks for pve engy for pvp I feel with the stat changes based on the pts gear marks is the way to go with the +3% acc buff. Engineer is good too but I don't like to use the roll offensively in pve (there had been times it saved my life). As for leth builds maybe later on if my gear allows.
  4. If your talking about PvP then Engy is the way to go you only need cover to drop sos and ep... Back on topic... If you want mobility sadly snipers are not the class for you since some of our major hitting abilities comes from cover. For PvE all-around I would say MM-Engy hybrid is the best since you can have probe ticking on the move and have FT to burst with your instant snipe.
  5. what helm and chest piece is that? I have the muse helm can not find the right combination
  6. asn tanks are very easy to tank with once you get good gear (rakata level i believe). If you want easy tanking off the bat just roll PT but know your room for improving is very limited.
  7. my purple juggernaut lol http://i.imgur.com/XjmSU.jpg?1
  8. I don't see accuracy being valued highly for full immortal because of backhand and crushing blow. As hybrid spec i do sacrifice threat for mitigation, and in turn missing revenge and sweeping fury does hurt rage regen therefore some TPS as well. Granted I miss only about 2-5 sunders per fight, and i just want other juggernauts input. It's also kinda rare to see a end game jugg tank since most of them quit or rolled a PT/ASN and those tanks do not need accuracy at all. PS - Sunders - Sundering Assault
  9. Operatives have to maintain their TAs to use skills like cull. Where as snipers just point and shoot if they have enough energy. Advantages for snipers is range, better energy management and relies on just energy. Also whoever you saw used cull OOC (out of cover) is playing with fire.
  10. Is it important for juggs especially for hybrid spec tank? So far my def stats are: 52% DR 28.78% def 43.74% shield chance 46.82% shield absorb I use to have 100% accuracy but dropped it off in favor for more shields, but now I'm sitting on 94%~ and sunders are missing and my threat don't seem too good if I'm not on my game. Is accuracy cap important for jugg tanks at all?
  11. That's what I meant IP>PP is great to setup up our burst which is SS>EP>SOS>Ambush>Takedown (I don't think you even need to hit ambush after SoS cause they'll usually be at <15% most of the time)
  12. I've played full immortal and hybrid spec, and cleared HM EC many times. I'm sticking with hybrid for a few reasons. 1 - 4% damage passive mitigation because of deafening defense, and 15% damage reduction while enraged defense is active. (Not wise to use in PvE situations unless its for kephiss bleed swaps or something similar.) 2 - Unstoppable is just amazing. 3 - An option to DPS if you just need 1 tank. The only cons is that your threat isn't so good for the first few seconds. That can be remedied by a power stim and guard on that player who tends to pull (IE MM snipers or PTs) in the first few seconds of the fight. Personally, I feel the last 2 points should go to smash for the AoE threat instead of impale or choke unless you PvP more than you PvE. I would say go for what suits you best because they both are good specs. For me I feel full immortal just doesn't cut it in PvP since i usually pug and have no time to run rateds with guildies. (Immortal has more CCs IE imp choke and backhand).
  13. If IP is on them and you plant a PP right on top along with EP followed by SoS they're most likely dead... I just recently specced into engy and having a blast. I'd say our main damaging ability is Plasma Probe. The only thing about PP is that if you misplace it, your in a world of hurt. I also feel engy spec is VERY underrated in pvp and pve.
  14. So, your telling me that IF I use the GF I have to entertain all of their needs? Ok I got it. And you wonder why tanks are rare in queue....
  15. ok i don't want to sound like an *** but here it goes......... You can get better gear from BH comms therefore the tionese X that drops from the bonus boss is NOT worth it... Furthermore you can keep queuing for random FPs to farm tionese comms/crystals to purchase the would be item. Yes, I play as a tank and I realize that many people want to do the bonus boss. I am fully augmented campaign tank I do this for the comms and people tend to wipe on bonus boss because they fail on the mechanic. I do FPs for the creds along with dailies and selling biometric alloys on the gtn. If you want to fully clear the FP or watch the cutscenes that is seen hundreds of times roll a tank or go solo in normal. Tanks leave the group because repairs ARE NOT CHEAP, you might not notice this as dps/heals since you guys don't constantly get hit. Lastly, it's and MMO meaning if your doing HM and in a group the majority rules. I hope it didn't sound too harsh but its the truth. If you really want to see pain roll a tank and you'll see what I'm talking about in a few weeks, it's not pretty. All in all its important to have fun, but at the same time not waste another person or groups time.
