  1. After defeating the two golds lana cut scene shows her force choking one of them but no dialog window pops up. Human sentinal if that matters. So I waited to start playing to hopefully have no bugs and the first storyline is broken a third of the way through. Zoned to curosaunt to reset chapter three. made different choices same outcome. quest line is broken. edit. reset twice more light or dark side choices lead to same speak to Nove and the outcome is the same no dialog prompt when Lana is force choking. I guess I will wait and try it again next week, before I call it quits... again
  2. Funny when we got there you guys were holding mid we drove you off, held off a couple of counter attacks then you guys quit or switched maps. I will commend you for doing what we are doing and forcing pvp and we may have only driven off your stragglers just like ours were driven off later. We can at least agree that it is super fun to melt noobs who run in to cap in pve gear. until our next encounter.
  3. Really, I wish I had your blinders, yes a couple of people got caps while we were engaged... but auto quit come on dude we stayed til our stims ran out.

  5. I have two Republic 50's that I would like to place in a decent guild. I am not looking for a leveling guild. Not available for Tues, or Thurs nights. My four Empire 50's will be staying where they are, as I am one of the raid leaders. Terror is a complete joke, and I expect it to be on farm status in less than a month, So I will have time to work on my Republic toons. Trooper tank and Sage heal/dps with two more Republic 50's in the works.
  6. Last week was the first time I healed on my Merc since 1.2 came out. I absolutely dislike my Merc now. Yes it was story mode denova, but we have that mastered and even though we know it well I had constant heat issues. Venting really need to be adjusted back up a little in my opinion, I hate putting more load on the other healer because I have heat problems.
  7. This is such a waist of time. I have five 50's with three 30+ in the wings. The answer is merger period, I'll be damned if I am going to reroll all my toons on another server. Free server transfers even to a limited selection will not fix the population mess. Either Bioware fixes the mess or more people bail. If its not fixed by the time I am legacy 50 then I will strongly think of finding another game. FYI Legacy 44 right now.
  8. There are some very good Ideas already posted, so I will just post what is important to me as far as the ui changes go. Character portrait - Need an option to remove, I know what my character looks like... Buffs- Better individual sizing, Buff/debuff... Better duration indicators or separate line graph option... Ability to save key-bindings and load to another character. Operations raid warning texts- ability to resize, relocate, and choose color.
  9. You miss the point, I hate all the quitters and those that do their own thing. I would spend 15 minutes in que between matches if my guild 8 can go against another guild or pre-grouped 8. I have no interest in going against 8 solo's with an organized 8, but I want the challenge to go against another organized 8.

    8 man que needed now.

    With 8 man ques, the guild can group as one eight-man instead of two or more four mans, only once since launch and 5 50's did I see two 4 man groups que and end up on the same side, yes we steam rolled the otherside, but thats the point 8 working together can overcome more than 4 with 4 unorganized pugs. 8vs8 has advantages and disadvantages but opens up a diversity in strategies, which vary due to group composition, but you at least know your 8 are all on the same page. I can't argue you cross server pvp, except to say close down 1/4 of the servers and offer free moves to selected servers to better balance out server populations.
  11. I understand that the rated system was not up to par so had to be put on hold. What I don't understand is why the 8 man que option was also put on hold. On The Sword of Adjuna Pall the Empire far outnumbers the Republic and there is a huge disparity on gearing because of it. I have four Empire toons(50) and one Republic(50), I can do two to three dailies(pvp) on my empire toons in the amount of time it takes to get a equal number of games on my Repub as just one of my Empire needed to get the daily done. This basically indicates that my Empire toons, if I played them singly, basically get a return up to three times that of my Republic toon... Which leads to a very significant gearing disparity. Ques pop quite reliably on the Empire side, but quite in-frequently on the Republic side, a ten minute que for a 15 minute battleground in which the other side has a marked advantage over gear is just ridiculous. I understand that the game is new and there will be growing pains, but 1.2 is doing more harm to pvp than good. 1-49 pvp is fun, why you ask, because; If most are reasonably level geared the determining factor is ability, but once you hit 50, especially with 1.2, ability becomes second to gear and can not overcome the gap until you become equal in gear. I like this game, even with the little things that are really irritating, and I am waiting out the storm for things to get worked on. That being said; If I am going to have to wait in a 4man que for ten minutes, only to have to go against a possibly better geared side(empire) and deal with 4 pugs that wont follow the groups lead, why should I consider that a good thing? Eight man ques need to be added, and in my opinion should have been added from the start. I would like any Dev who actually participates in pvp to try and give me a reasonable answer to the underlined question.
  12. Something like could my bounty hunter be called before the dark council to be given a mission, in the presence of my Inquisitor and warrior? Trying not to spoil.
  13. I tend to agree but there are limits. Having to depend on luck that a raid boss wont toss out one of what 20 known bugs to the detriment of the party can sap the fun out. Constant stun locks in pvp and an under performing resolve system can be a pain in the butt. But this is a new game there will be bugs, but the devs had stated that they pretty much kept the entire team together so people will ask why are the major pain in the butt bugs still around. I played the other star (franchise) online and it was crap from the beginning and all they did was add more crap on top of that and everything added bugged out allot of working stuff. I don't want to see this game go down that path. TOR looks good, plays reasonably well, and has the best multiple story line theme I have seen in a mmo, not to mention the voice acting is of the highest caliber. Basically to sum up I would rather pay to play this mmo than play allot of the others for free even with the bugs. But I expect the bugs to be fixed "Sooner rather than Later".
  14. Soa has been bugged for entirely too long I agree. But Soa resetting because a tank gets mind trapped is the fault of the OT not taunting. They fix the whirlwind so it does not just drop you to your death if you mistime the phase three start. But instead of killing you it puts you on the floor out of phase with the rest of your party. And /stuck will kill you but your body will still be out of phase. Yes I know whirlwind is getting fixed in 1.2 but it took entirely to long to be addressed. Soa is still doable with the bugs if you address them properly, unless of course if you are dropping down to phase two and the whole outer ring is missing.
  15. When 8v8's become reality I want a chance to go against a DEV team bi monthly, with some type of conference chat afterward to go over things that happened that probably should not have happened.
