  1. It was also said that if you disagree with the point of the original post in a thread, you should be considered off topic. Not sure how many were reported for that.
  2. Here you go: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=6393670#edit6393670 Edit: Ah, yeah, your thread links to the same message. Didn't see that at first.
  3. True. That is why you don't use Wikipedia in research papers. That level of accuracy isn't needed in this situation, though. For every person with malicious intent or misinformation, there is someone who will correct any given page. So, as a jumping off point, or in scenarios like this post, it should work fine most 9f the time. ...kinda relating back to probabilities and random number generators. To the OP, yes, sometimes probability can be generous, but I personally never expect her to be more than callous and cold. Most times, I picture her as cackling madly to herself as I open crates.
  4. I'm not a fan of time gated subscriber rewards. I much prefer veteran rewards systems where you "work" towards rewards with subscription time. In my opinion, ones that have reward tiers you can work towards by spending some sort of monthly token work the best. Also, I personally do not care who else has any given subscriber reward. That being said, I understand the arguments against releasing them to anyone after the requirements were clearly laid out. I respect that stance because it was the way the company made it. I disagree, though, in characterizing it as a punishment. Simply missing out on things does not mean one is being punished. It is simply the way things work in the world. Frankly, I think energy would be better spent trying to convince the company to revamp the rewards system than to focus on what is already done. But I also acknowledge that is my personal opinion.
  5. Do you actually have to subscribe to get HK-51, though? This is a serious question, as I've not tried without one. Assuming you can get your hands on a Section X authorization given credit caps, you can then access the quest, can you not? Or is the quest actually locked? Then, you can use legacy storage to pass around the items you need to in the quest line. I'm not saying it would be easy. You would need to use both f2p character slots to have one of each faction. You would need to get one character to 50 with the slower xp. You would need to get the other character to Dromund Kaas or Coruscant. You would need to get a Section X authorization. You would need to get access to a legacy storage point. Is there any point where you are actually barred from completing it if you don't subscribe?
  6. Just to be clear, the op was talking about getting HK-55 as a companion. That only required being subbed on January 11, 2016. The extra mission where you play as HK-55 is what required being subbed from January to August.
  7. Thank you for that! My search skills aren't working great today. I found references in yellow posts to season 1 as far back as December. I thought it was way back before release, though. So thanks for the confirmation, DarthDymond!
  8. See, I thought I remember them mentioning 2 seasons way before that. I remember people arguing about the way it was phrased. But maybe I'm switching around timeframes in my head.
  9. What exactly is repeating? Are you referring to an ability, a sound / voice, or something else?
  10. It wasn't in the patch notes until Musco acknowledged the change and updated them. That's why they called it a stealth nerf.
  11. True, but the last time they changed pre-existing cartel market outfits without notice, they eventually went back and issued two versions. So, there is precedent for a customer friendly "fix" when there is enough customer discontent and real money involved. That said, it didn't happen overnight. So, OP, if you want to bring about a change, don't just give up. You already took the first step. Next, I would /bug it in game, even if it is technically now "fixed." I would also pm someone (possibly eric) to make sure that you aren't just getting the message to an outsourced customer service. I would also create a clearer, more concise, and less emotional post. Your title for this thread does nothing to help illuminate the problem. In fact, your original post did not explicitly state that they changed the item's model well after release. It took me reading several posts to realise what the actual issue was. If you want change, be clear. If you want to be clear, state exactly what it is you want to change. Just my advice. Edit: Also, to add, perhaps in their eyes, they did fix it. But that also doesn't mean it was implemented in the most customer friendly way. For instance, in the past, when they have missed something from a pack, they added it to a vendor for everyone for a credit. I'm not saying this is exactly the same. However, there are other ways they could have handled the issue other than selling the jacket as part of a "new" set.
  12. You assume too much! Your day will come, fleshsuit!
  13. So... Clone_Enforcer is attempting to enforce his/her interpretation of the rules on cloned guilds? I did not see that coming.
