if you are looking for a tank, i have a sintank and a jugg i can regear from dps to tank, and am leveling a pt right now.

while i don't have a problem with Commandos having the ability to equip blaster rifles. I just don't see why people want this. i mean to mean, the abilities look better with an assault cannon, look at full auto on a vg vs a commando (not saying that vgs should use it trolls, just for animations sake) it looks better on an assault cannon. And demo round coming out of a little bitty rifle just seems weird. I would agree that PT's need something more than a pistol though. My pt tank is almost embarrassing at times with that little bitty thing.

The feeling that i get from this thread is "OMG im not winning, plz BW let me win." look as far as conquests go I really dont care. Its not my thing, too much grinding. However I am from the same guild as Ocho is and that guild is about to have first place again. This guild is putting in the time to win. Everybody is particpating, unless its raid time groups are forming to run the FPS and heriocs. So with the guild focusing basically completly on this, and with being able to sustain the large numbers why should they not win. THey are putting the work in. Oh and as far as taunting and attacking. THis is what I will say. A. I have been on basically all week due to being home sick and have not seen this from my guild. B. if they are doing it, why is it a problem to make allies in this game. Nothing against the EULA or TOS so **** they want to do it then fine. They are not the first guild in this game to taunt a boss away or make allies. C. If you dont like any of this then be better. I watch a guild last week try to heal a commander while we tried to kill it as well as try to attack us, and they failed so make friends and have fun. Quit your complaining. /end rant

So by your logic i should be forced to play specs that i dont like. I could understand that if you are in a pvp guild running team ranked. But if im solo queing Im going to play whatever I find fun. If you whispered me and told me to respec I would tell you to mind your own business. Ive seen people in the "best" pvp classes/specs underperform and see "bad" pvp specs/classes destroy the scoreboard. So who are you to tell people what they should play.

powertech/vanguard is not a ranged class, if you are playing it ranged then you are wrong

And only gives a 60% chance so unless you have 40% crit chance already there is still a chance that it wont crit everytime you use a direct force attack.-

Actually its working exactly as intended, read the tooltip again, Direct attacks, your dots are not direct attacks therefore it does not work on them, in the balance tree it works on FIB/MC not on sever force or FT.

So have been reading this thread since its debut and though I've had some funny gf moments, today was the day i finally decided to post. So today in Mando SM pub side, i was on my dps scoundrel and qued up. Got sage heals, vg and guardian. So it turns out that both the vg and guard were tanks but whatever vg says the guard can tank and so we rolled, all were pretty good lvls so didn't think anything about it. Was a little annoying because both "tanks" tried to tank but we cleared the first boss and second boss np. Only weird thing was on the first boss the vg wouldn't attack the dogs and shot at the boss and every now and then would harpoon him out of the tanks range. Anyways after the second bosses died the vg died, i was going ahead to get to elevator when all of sudden he asked for a revive, however the healer couldn't see him and neither could I. He then begin cussing the healer and calling us idiots, so i initiated a vote kick with the reason A-Hole. He then told me that he would hack my computer before he was kicked, so weird. I mean completely fine run no deaths he is laughing and joking and then boom, he just flipped out. Then we got a guard dps with an aim chest piece but at that point i couldn't care less lol

wierd tank to actually thank a dps. As a guy who plays dps almost exclusivly thats really rare

Kuat doesn't have a spec requirement, so if they are queing as heals but are dps it doesn't matter.
