This forum is just a cesspool. The game hasn't been out a month and there are all these final judgements. I mean the forums were bad during beta but I thought it would be at least a little better now. No one wants to read a bunch of fanboy posts but this is just beyond the pale. It's one thing to bring up things that need to be improved (there are plenty) but why does every issue have to the reason we should all quit the game? One other thing before I go back to the fansites that cover this stuff objectively. If you are going to quit the game, don't tell all of us about it. No one cares if you are quitting not to mention why. Just cancel your sub and go!

This is a HUGE number considering they haven't touched the Asian market yet.

OP states he has been on every major launch and then proves that he hasn't with his comments. MMOs would never get released if they waited until they had everything they wanted. Every MMO launch is an unfinished product.

I love all the posts from people that know more about Bio's technology than the engineering team. Love the one about having us all jammed on one server and instancing everything. No problems at all with that, great idea. If your idea was a good one, they would have already thought of it.

The reason people say that is in response to some who come on here and complain that the game is garbage. I think the correct response to that would be to stop playing...right?

They have wayyyyy more people than those MMOs had. More will come on the 20th so they really don't have a choice. If you let the queue times sit at an hour people are going to stop playing. Lots of servers is a risk but part of the reason for the incremental rollout was to have the correct amount of servers.

I know they are rolling out invites in four waves a day by the date you pre-ordered. Doesn't that about cover it?

I'm not sure I understand all the outrage today. This is exactly what they planned to do the whole time. Why wasn't this a big deal before today? They only thing that changed was they actually did it. The ONLY legitimate gripe I have heard is that people who didn't pre-order at the same time might not be able to get on the same server. Seeing as this is a MMO it is important to keep groups of people together. BIO has always worked with their users before so I assume they may find a solution to this as well.
