  1. I know what you mean. This game is a ton of fun, but it might take some time for it to feel more lived-in. I do wonder if it will ever have that same type of real live peristent world feeling that some other MMOs have.
  2. I notice I get a lot more shimmering if I have 'Force Mipmap Filter' enabled in Tray Tools. It's under tweaks/standard.
  3. This thread has inspired me to create a new EQ character (when it goes F2P in march).
  4. I think that's your best bet, whenever you can get it done. You won't regret it, TOR will run much better natively in Windows. It may be giving you an error because you have to free up some hd space before you can partition the drive.
  5. I'm not sure why you can't partition the drive - wouldn't it take up the same amount of space as Parallels? As for Boot Camp, there is very little risk to your computer, although backing up your data is always a good idea. If you can't do that, unless there's a way to update the driver in Parallels, you may have to live with it. Other people have reported similar issues running TOR with certain Apple drivers.
  6. I suggest running Windows natively through Boot Camp for TOR, this looks like an incompatible video driver issue that a lot of people have run into. You'll get better performance as well.
  7. There has to be a way for me to enter my ship without it automatically flying off into space. This bugs me to no end.
  8. Is it just me, or are both of these points just examples of griefing?
  9. Maybe we'll see some changes as part of the 'significant' space update that's coming.
  10. That sucks. I'd try a different server.
  11. Things I've learned about the SWTOR economy from the forums: Everything is too expensive and impossible to afford. There is nothing to spend credits on. You cannot make a profit on the GTN. Crafting is useless and not profitable. Things I've learned about the SWTOR economy in game: All of the above are wrong.
  12. Yeah, that's a great feature (although by the time you yell for help it's usually too late).
  13. That's not what the OP's saying at all.
