  1. Using medpacs or potions in same-faction duels is usually frowned upon. There is a very big difference between healing yourself with class abilities and using a medpac. That said it is ridiculous that he threw such a large fit over it. Technically it isn't cheating.
  2. I don't think anyone thought Bioware had the budget to continue the class quests. At least not in a (presumably) free content patch.
  3. That's the only way I can get any enjoyment out of it.
  4. How is my attitude any worse then that of the person I quoted? I don't like how fast I level! It is good that I won't level so fast anymore! Quicker leveling doesn't hurt anyone who wants to enjoy everything the game has to offer. Reducing XP gain in PvP does hurt people. I'm not sorry for doing the same. There already is a balance. I can do four warzones in an hour and get 40 thousand XP or I can PvE for an hour and get even more. PvE is more efficient (and there is nothing wrong with how it was). Maximizing comms isn't necessary. People who say otherwise are just trying to justify the gear gap. It. Is. Not. Necessary. EDIT: And not everyone has Legacy perks.
  5. I'm curious as to who thought the Resolve system was a good way to address the amount and frequency of CC in this game. There are people who like it and say that people who don't are baddies and don't know how to take advantage of it. I do get it, it is overly complicated, unreliable, and there are other mechanics from other games that solve the issue to better effect. The chain CC is worse in this game then in WoW and WoW has the worst class balance of any MMO I've ever played.
  6. What about all the people who've quit (and probably never will come back) and haven't said a word? Just saying, most don't say anything whether they like it or not.
  7. So punish the rest of us because you choose to do both?
  8. Not everyone enjoys leveling. Why slow down the only supplement to XP gain PvPers have? As it is, I and many others can barely stand the leveling process whether it be because of a genuine dislike of leveling (me) or because people have already leveled multiple characters. I recently spent $80 on the new WoW expansion. $40 for the game, $25 to transfer to my friends' server, and $15 dollars to resub. I quit at level 87 a week or two later because WoW PvP just isn't worth the time it takes to level from 85 to 90. If XP gain has been cut across the board I probably will cancel my sub and quit the game. I don't have money to waste on XP boosts. I have a bloody sub for a reason and it is not for Bioware to try and sucker more cash out of me.
  9. For me, leveling already takes to long as it is. For me, MMOs are about endgame. The journey quickly outlives its welcome. I am not going to complain about lack of content however because I am a PvPer so I don't consume endgame content faster then it is released. PvPers are easy to please. It's so shocking that MMO developers consistently fail to please us. I haven't been pleased since Warhammer.
  10. I play a Carnage Marauder. Fights with Snipers / Gunslingers are interesting. They get me to about 25% health by the time they finally run out of CC and then I obliterate them.
  11. I don't think they have the budget anymore to add new classes (which would require new class stories).
  12. I think your request is implausible. TOR handled gear wrong from the start with the expertise system there isn't much they can do now. Games like WAR, DAoC, and GW2 all handled gear very well - TOR and WoW, not so much.
  13. God five more levels of this game's horrendous leveling experience.
  14. I started hating and boycotting Bioware with Dragon Age II. MMOs excluded.
