  1. Lazy and uninspired. I don’t get why the focus seems to be punishing the player base, it’s already at a low number, and with how the games been going, it’s not going to improve. So many of the changes on many fronts (pvp, conquest etc) almost make it seem like they just like to punish us. I wonder if anyone who works on this game actually plays it anymore, who am I kidding.
  2. This was a horrible change that’s been made. The new galactic seasons conquest objectives fail to even come close to equaling what the rep conquest gave us. Also you would have to log in every day, and get exactly one seasons level each day, which is just designed to make you play more for less reward. Even then I already got 5 seasons levels on the first day just from playing the game normally. Finished the weekly conquest too. This was a known change purposely kept from people until after it was live, and those are the worst ways for games like this to be run.
  3. Honestly I feel like the people who were moved over to broadsword really want to continue building on the game. 7.4 will probably have to be something amazing though as the community is on such an edge, a simple breeze will blow it off that edge. What we need to a roadmap going forward, not just 7.4, but far beyond, I know the move to dx 12 is supposed to be coming, but beyond that. Will we be getting another expansion in the upcoming year? If not 2024, then 2025? Perhaps I ask for too much. It may take awhile to properly lay out future plans as the move over is recent and things have to be decided, but I just think we all need something eventually to reassure us that the term maintenance mode isn’t in the vocabulary of the new team in charge. Whatever happens, I’ve had more positives then negatives from this game, friends made, fun had, hopefully more to come. 😀🤞

    Fixing PVP 8x8

But this time, add more levels to the huttball map, if queshball has 3 levels, why not 4? 5 even! In all serious though I wish I understood how the matchmaker works, I can be in a warzone q, see that a warzone has just ended, and people from that warzone get a q pop before me. I’m mostly solo q so that probably affects it. Still annoying though to wait 10 minutes for a q pop and others get immediate pops.
  5. Also if they could stack that would be good. Also not sure if it’s a bug or not, but if you use it on a group that you’re apart of, it can miss you completely, which kind of defeats the purpose of sharing it with others if you also want the buff.
  6. Would it be nice if the devs went into great detail about a pvp overhaul? Sure. However I imagine at this point, as it’s been mentioned often on these forums, pvp is a side note and unlikely to receive much in the way of major changes. I would love some more balancing, a bolster that actually bolsters, especially those with very low sub 300k health , better matchmaking, more map variety, or at least better odds that if you just played a queshball, you don’t immediately get another huttball variant. A lot of what the op speaks about is correct, change is needed, but how long will the people who still pvp regularly wait for it.
  7. 😀 Yes I do that sometimes as well, it would be fun if you’re playing a sage, instead of hurling rocks at someone, it’s mini snowballs.
  8. They could replace normal abilities with snowballs, attack someone? Snowballs! Heal someone? Snowballs!! Guard someone…..well you guessed it, snowballs!!!
  9. It doesn’t help that the pvp seasons offer little to keep people playing. Sure you can buy old ranked items, which is fine, getting old crystals or old weapons, but as mentioned already, most of the track offers items that few will want. I mean a random silver rarity weapon cm box is not really worth anything. I used to enjoy grouping with friends for pvp, but most of them are gone, so I meet new people, continue the cycle, until they’re also gone. I’ve tried to help returning players by giving them purple augments, but now I’m penalized for doing that. I would like a healthy pvp community, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen long term. A lot needs to be done to improve pvp overall, lowering the groups allowed from 8 people back to 4 would be a start. If they asked the players, they might actually get good ideas.
  10. This would be funny if it wasn’t also concerning.
  11. After several moments of mildly freaking out, I am going to remain calm, and hope that this is a positive thing going forward. I just hope people don’t end up out of work over this. Do the right thing BioWare.
  12. I didn’t say it’s what you wrote, I just said I liked your suggestion, but if they didn’t want to change the ratio, what about a combination as an alternative, just trying to provide ideas and hope one sticks.
  13. This please, if not a reduction, why not just combine it into one achievement, where you can do say 25 weeklies of either/or. This way if people don’t actually want to do arenas, they can do all 8v8 and still get the achievement. I know this might hurt arena pops, but it would also reduce people in arenas who just afk or don’t try. Just an idea. 😀
  14. I’m cautiously looking forward to the move to AWS, I know when I was on the non APAC based pts, my latency was in the 20’s, which is nearly half of what I average on star forge right now, so AWS must be much closer to me then the current servers. And as mentioned already, star forge seems to have issues about once every few weeks, I’m hoping this move will prevent that going forward. 🤞
  15. Yes this is a good idea. 😀
