  1. Prelude Jharith and Khorath Khyrivon were born as identical twin brothers. When the two were very young, they were separated when their parents were killed. Being force sensitive, both were trained at an academy. Though while Jharith grew up in the republic, being trained as a Jedi, Khorath was instead trained as a sith... On Korriban, Khorath trained under the Sith Overseer, Tremmel. He was sent on various tasks, completing training that usually took apprentices months, or even years. As such, he drew the attention of Darth Baras, and the ire of his rival apprentice, Vemrin. As Khorath trained on Korriban, Jharith was hard at work defending the Jedi temple world of Tython from the attack of the flesh raiders. With the help of an astromech droid named T7-01, Jharith, under the training of master Orgus, defeated the flesh raiders, led by Master Orgus' former apprentice, and constructed his lightsaber. He's then sent to Coruscant to help another Jedi Master with a growing darkness; however, he made a quick stop on the Republic Fleet to further his training. After being forced to kill his old Overseer, Khorath became the apprentice of Darth Baras. During his trials, he met Vette, a Twi’lek slave, who assisted him in his final test. While retrieving an ancient lightsaber from the tomb of Naga Saddow, Vemrin attempted to kill Khorath, and failed. With Vette’s help, Khorath killed Vemrin, and claimed the lightsaber. He traveled to the Imperial Fleet to further his training on a stop off before heading to Dromund Kaas. While at the fleet, Khorath removed Vette's shock collar, as a show of thanks for all her help, and as a sign of trust.
  2. I don't know about everyone else, but I think that there should be an option in the character creator for half-human variants of the non-human races. We've seen in certain Star Wars canon that other species, (such as the Twi'lek) can mate with a human to produce half-human offspring. I know it's not something often though about, but I would like to play a Human-Twi'lek hybrid from time to time. That said, It's probably just a fantasy that will never come true on SWTOR.
  3. I honestly have never even tried to see what those whites look like on my character because they're.... whites... ewe. lol. So I never even realized they were unique designs.
  4. I recently find myself using my new smartphone for many things. While searching for the apps I noticed a lot of apps to keep tabs on the Old Republic: Server status trackers, Character skill calculators, Apps for information on companions, and many many others. 1 of my most common things that I do on the Old Republic Is crafting. So I thought " wouldn't it be nice if there were an application for my phone that would allow me to send my companions on Crew Skill missions." 1 application like this might be difficult to create ( or it might be really really simple, I'm not a computer programmer) it would need to have limitations that would make it more productive to login on your computer. Some of the ideas that I have had our as follows: 1. You would have to log into a character to be able to select your companions. 2. The application would probably have to only allow you to send your companions on Crew Skill missions and a truck the progress of those missions. 3. The application probably wouldn't allow you to collect the reward for completing the missions and wouldn't allow you to access your inventory in anyway such as to reverse engineer. ( Although it would be ideal if it could allow you to do just that) 4. The application would require you to sign in using your Login name password and security key so it would have to be an Official application created by Bioware or Electronic Arts. 5. Search an application would ideally be free Although we all know that companies like to make money And they would probably charge us for it. These are just my preliminary Ideas
  5. In any case, I find it impossible that, within the few years of timescape of the game, anybody's Legacy Family Tree could actually exist, especially if you wanted one of your characters to be the offspring of another character and said other character's companion. Think about it.
  6. My thoughts on this are as follows: This system could work under the following conditions: 1. Unique Legacy names stay. It's integral to the system that there not be multiple Bob Smiths or Jack Jones out there. 2. Legacy names are chosen at first character creation. 3. Legacy names show on characters at all times only as a Surname(Bob Jones, not "Bob; The Jones Legacy") until you "gain your legacy" after chapter 1 has been completed by any one of your characters., at which time start gaining legacy xp and the legacy tab can be accessed. 4. Invites and all chat events are directed to the legacy name only, and are sent to whichever character of that legacy is on at the time. 5. Emails are sent to: Bob Jones OR Jones, Bob. Either way should work at the sender's preference. 6. Any complaints and such about a character's name must include the legacy name. In this system, you could have multiple Bobs or Franks or Jacks, but only one Bob Jones, one Frank Smith, and one Jack Harkness.
  7. I mean I'd be willing to pay to change my names to something else. I don't care if it's my original name or not, just different from what they currently are(botched names similar to what the originals were)
  8. Also, a point of note, I'm playing a Sith Warrior who fully believes in the sith ideals, though not as the common interpritation: Peace is a lie, there is only passion: Personal peace of self can never be attained, as humans/whatever else are emotional beings. (though peace between large groups of people is possible). Through passion, I gain strength: Passions grant you the resolve and determination to become strong. Through strength, I gain power: The strength gained through determination grants power. Through power, I gain victory: Power grants victory over your enemies, and over your own destiny. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me. And while he believes that the Empire's goal is a worthy one (to unite the galaxy under one rule), he believes it is going about it the wrong way. Therefore, he could never become a Jedi, nor would he ever Defect to the Republic, but he would work with them, and even help them, as long as it doesn't hurt the empire.
  9. While I think the OP has some valid points logic wise, I don't think that the choice to become sith/jedi/whatever else, should affect the faction itself, but rather the way the storyline plays out. A light sith, for instance should come in contact with a jedi sometime after chapter 1 and be offered a chance to join the order, yet stay undercover in the sith empire as an ally of the Jedi, yet still pretending to be sith. Etc...
  10. As recent character transfer systems have caused many players to have to change their characters names, I find many who are displeased with their new name(myself included on six accounts). While some characters' new names are very difficult to type correctly due to using similar, yet uncommon symbols( such as "è" instead of just "e", or "ô" instead of "o"), others find their new names simply annoying or even misspelled from what they wanted. While some may view these things as insignificant, I(and a few others I play with), find them highly distracting and frustrating. This has gone even to the point that I have unsubscribed from the game, and plan to not subscribe again, until my names can be changed. The suggestion I have, is for Bioware/EA to implement a "Payed Character Name Change" system, in which the player pays a sum of money(say $5-$10) and they can change a characters name. While many people would dislike shelling out money to change their character's name, I'd be willing to pay to change them. Thanks in advance for your consideration and to any who read this post and agree with me.
  11. I agree that name changes should be allowed, even if it was a pay to change thing.
  12. This should be implemented in some form, even if it's a pay real money to get your name changed. I'd pay it.
  13. No, no you weren't. That being said, I knew it was an april fools joke from the moment I saw "Become the Ship Droid" on the Client Launcher. I've been april fooling people for about an hour before hand, so i was prepared.
