  1. I'm totally fine with nerfing PVP conquest points if we could get more decorations out of PVP. And what? It's fair that I've had to play a bunch of boring FPs and Heroics to get certain decorations?
  2. Gotcha, maybe some part of my mind wanted him to mean converging to one PVP server so people would stop trolling this thread. I can see how even converging onto a PVE server could be seen as wanting to just "steam roll" - or whatever the kids call it these days - PVE players. In reality the low populations and the refusal to implement cross server queing makes this idea of converging onto one server highly desired to maybe not most but a decent amount of the community.
  3. Am I the only one that notices that OP never mentioned moving to a PVE server? Ya'll are why the **** off on a tangent. I think OP was aiming at all of the PVP community transferring to POT5, Jung Ma, or The Bastion...
  4. Jonathan Crow, I saw you said you analyzed PvE operations statistics - kill to death ratios, dps/healing/mitigation numbers, etc, - so Im guessing you might also dabble in the numbers surrounding PvP too. If you could possibly expose some of those numbers to the community, there would surely be some great discussions here on the forums from those numbers.
  5. This is what I have set up atm but I'm thinking the armorings from the generators/shields could be better than the PVE armorings for the belt and bracers. If not they are a cheaper but more grinding alternitive. From what I've heard the DR increase from the extra 100 expertise helps out a bit while losing little to no damage output. And I would argue having the expertise crystals instead of power but I have a black-purp power I use, I would use expertise but I don't have the rating for the blk-purp crystal, while keeping the expertise crystal in the gen. Also for a more sustained dps I would recommend 310-390 crit. Crit seems to be underrated for whatever reason on PTs, probably because of the power stat hype that rage mara/juggs started, but after multiple parses your overall dmg seems to peak when you close in on 400 crit rating. I mean its nice to pull those 5k rails off with little to no crit rating but your overall dps will increase with 310-390 crit.
  6. I would say that if not a jump/sprint at least a speed boost, like what AP has in its skill tree.
  7. Nerf to snare and 10 meter TD and IM. It's needed now. Simple as that.
  8. Yeah, Undying rage gives a healer so much time to react if that mara is being focused. What's nice about pryros though is a mara will go from 50% to 0 in one GCD making them miss their chance to pop it. (I know Undying rage isn't on GCD just saying in that time frame.)
  9. I guess if you wanna gip your overall damage you can go with this guys setup, though I am kinda jealous for all those 5k medals I'm missing even though 9/10 times im on the top of the leader board for medals anyway. For an optimal setup though you're gonna want 309 or 389 crit rating. Which with all the right mods will leave you just shy of 5k rails. Here's my current setup: http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/d35fd76a-a08d-4793-9b8a-d164cc3d15fe Side note: Mr.Robot doesn't account for stims.
  10. As we really only have like a 4 ability rotation logically I'm only seeing Flame Burst get moved down to 4m since the other 30m abilities are on cd/ not spammable. IDk... I dont see the range mechanics of us being OP just the damage... Like I said earlier in this thread it would make more sense to just bring the DOT damage down a bit.
  11. the 7/3/31 spec should give you an extra 200-300 to your rail shot too if you're not already using that. I'm normally running 4/6/31 as to spam dots more effectively in regular wzs for the shock wow effect I give people at the end of the wz when I double even the second highest damage number on the board. I normally run 7/3/31 for rateds though as its better for focusing.
  12. I agree but I can already assume what Bioware would reply to that: No. PTs have Heavy Armour.
  13. I didn't realize this. I've only played a Merc and a PT and currently there is no ability where the range differs between them.
  14. If PTs are degraded to warrior like range I believe a warrior like "jump" should be considered. Also the fact that they said heavy armor should be in more dangerous situations totally contradicts what the Mercenary is. I think the real fix that is needed to level out the damage on the PT is to take out Intimidation and Prototype Burn Enhancers. Dots are 25-30% of the Pyros DPS and if that's toned down it should come to level out with the rest of the ACs.
  15. I'll let you have it back after your insta/free heals @ <30% are nerfed to sh*t. That's what was annoying people was that ability. You would get upper hand re-granted every time you spammed that instant heal that costs 1 upper hand then gives it back and people would hear it every GCD.
