  1. Hello all. I'm the GM of Republic Legion and I'm here to advertise for my guild, as obvious as that may be. We are a RP guild, and try to host three events a week one PvE, PvP, and RP. In the guild we have multiple branches mainly a Jedi and Trooper branch but looking to expand a Smuggler one as well, with each offering their own perks and RP ability. We also have a guild story which interacts with our Imperial guild Dark Void. What you can expect: -Friendly players who are happy to RP and help out on missions within reason. -At least three events per week if not more. -Fun events. What Each Branch Offers: (Republic Legion) 1) Jedi: -RP that progresses all the way from initiate to Jedi Master. -One on one RP until the player becomes a full Jedi Knight. -Trials that make each level of status feel earned. -Key RP planets include Tython, Coruscant, and Ilum. 2)Troopers: -Trooper Training going over the basics and giving players the chance to prove themselves with leadership. -Squad based RP carrying out missions, both player and in game ones as well as various PvE content. -Chain of command and the opportunity to advance through hard work and determination. -Key RP planets include Ord Mantell and Coruscant. Branches we would be willing to see created and expanded: -Senators: Making executive RP decisions that deal with interacting with other guilds and creating missions that both Jedi and Troopers can be sent on. -Czerka/Company RP: Selling gear and items for profit and working around the system to make the galaxy let you carry out experiments that might lead to chaos or further profit. -SIS: (Scoundrel exclusive) Take on the role of the Republic's best agents to help give the edge in the war. Dark Void: We are looking to expand the guild into a full blown force. We are looking for those interested in Sith, Pirate, Imperial Intelligence, Mandalorian/Hunter and Hutt Cartel RP roles. What the roles would be: 1) Sith: -Essentially similar to Sith but with a few key differences to take advantage of Lore and the dark side. 2)Pirate: -Playing to the darker side of Nar Shaddaa and Hutta to make deals and make a name for Vor'skar and let it make both the Republic and Empire pale upon hearing the name. 3) Imperial Intelligence: -Created to fight back against the SIS and give the Empire an advantage. Taking on missions such as sabatoge and intellegence gathering. 4)Mandalorian/Hunter -As we are not a Mandalorian based guild this is more for the hunter for higher be it with a sense of morals or not. Become the True Grand champion of the hunt! RP involved would be hunting down targets, protecting individuals, essentially RP while being paid to a degree. 5) Hutt Cartel: -Working as the Hutt's eyes and ears, dishing out whatever order they declare and showing why the Hutts are the only third party faction in the galaxy that even matters.   2. If you have the credits you technically could just buy all the unlocks now through the GTN and then activate them once you quit your subscription. Although it would take time to get the credits it might not cost you a dime, give or take if you can find all the unlocks, not to mention if you use some of the cartel coins that you might have stocked up.
  3. What about if they based it around a say the next expansion. While I know not every F2P players bought the expansion a fair number did so? Not to mention they did say something about Guild ships and a reworked space system sometime....
  4. After taking the time to look around at a number of other MMOs I thought of a few things that might make the game better, so without further ado.. Guild Updates Guild Armada and Fleet Battles -Basically introducing a new leveling system for guilds where the various members have to contribute certain crafting materials and crated items to build up there level and Armada. With the max level including the capital ship and two cruisers/corvettes, which could be set up to take players to the various OPs. -Fleet battles a new battling system which can be done as a group of four, eight, or sixteen. With a balancing limit of having only one capital ship per group which is piloted by the Guild Master and the officers could pilot the Cruisers/Corvettes. Where as anyone who is in the guild can launch with either their class ship or with fighters, and everyone else would be default launch with their class ship. -Fighters are speed based, freighters (Class ships) are balanced, and Capital Ships and their escorts are Weapon and Shield based. -Guild Capital ships could act as a guild's hub with a number of services and terminals on board, including: a special Guild Vendor, a mission terminal, and priority transports.As well as Simple test based Player made quests. -Guild Masters would also have the power to create various uniforms, from in game gear, for each guild rank as well as have a number more guild ranks slots added. New Warzone -Add a Walker based Warzone where the units piloted are based on the characters specialization, and example being Tank: At-At, DPS: AT-St. and Heal: Repair tank. Of course they could keep it simple with the three general roles in MMOs or they could expand upon it with different vehicles being based on the play styles of the various classes. Character Creator -Add a bust option, with the options only being the four sizes already in game. This way if someone wants to play a female character but doesn't quite want a Lara Croft look they could have the option. -Age bar, essentially adding wrinkles and the faces proportions slightly. Maybe there could be a range from say the 18/20 - 60/70 this is mainly for people who would prefer to play a Gandolf/Obi-wan kinda of mentor character. In Game Character Editor -Add a slider so people can choose to show what level of Dark Side affiliation they have. Essentially so they can have the sith eye look without having to later look like someone from a bad skin commercial. -Hood Toogle. Mini Games -Pazzak, allowing battle between players and certain NPCs in cantinas and such. With the cards being buyable from specific vendors. -Swoop Racing, with the ability to modify speeders including color, speed, and etc... Droid Companions -Add buyable and craftable droid companions with the appearance being in game models. -Two basic options Astromech: Ranged Tank/DPS and Battle Droid: Melee Tank/DPS have the price range around 100K to 200K, and a player can only have one active droid companion at a time, meaning you can own one at a time. -Add a Medical/Taxi droid customization kit for the Ship Droids. Well that is my list, what do people think? What do you think they should add or how do you think you can improve on these ideas?
  5. While I'm all for the addition of guild rewards, because we need some reason to join a guild besides an easier way to communicate with friends, this new addition seems odd. I like how it is promoting people to recruit for their guild, but it seems to either make spam inviting or quitting and then joining back the only option to get it. What I mean to say is how come it is based off recruiting people rather then rewarding your guild for being active with a dedicated player base? Although since they changed the whole Subscribers get a free name change, legacy name change, and guild name change to just a name change, one which has been put off for who knows how long, perhaps they will update it so that the people already in guilds get a reward for being dedicated to them.

  7. Well they could maybe link the time to the server. Or what they could do, and what might be better and a tad more realistic despite it being a Sci-fi game, is to make it so each planet has a different time frame. So it could be night on Tatooine but day time on Alderaan.
  8. Uh..Most of the Reputation Vendor gear pieces are bound to legacy, the exception being the Cartel Pack ones, and they aren't limited to one class.
  9. All they need to do is make a casino commendation where you bet them and win them from various mini-games, those being Pazzak, Sabbac, and Slot Machines. Where you can trade them in for new gear and vanity items or credits cases.

While possibly a tad early to be wishing for a new expansion I figure that perhaps the next expansion will have a larger content update and even more features then what has been presented with the Rise of the Hutt Cartel. So this is what I would like to new in the next expansion. New Features: Level Cap increase: 55-60./or at the least new end game gear. New Planets: Story Based: Mon Calamari and Kashyyyk. Social Based: Dantooine (Republic) and -Mon Calamari: 55-58 theme: The Imperials strike at the world using the rivalry between the Mon Calamari and Quarren as they try to reclaim an advantage and territory in the war through the large ship yards in orbit. -Kashyyyk: 58-60 theme: -Dantooine: Republic Social Planet: -Mannan: Imperial Social Planet: New Class Stories which include chapter 4 for each class. New Species for each class: -Jedi Knight: Mon Calamari, Jedi Consular: Ithorian, Trooper: Duro, Smuggler: Rodian, Sith Warrior: Quarren, Sith Inquisitor: Togruta, Bounty Hunter: Trandoshan, Imperial Agent: Bothan. New In-game (not cartel market) gear and schematics. New Warzone: Themed around Mon Calamari. PvP Balances. New Opperation: Themed around the dark forest floor of Kashyyyk. New Subscriber Vendor: -Sells old gear as orange sets, Social abilities and Social features. New Reputation Sets: -one for each starter planet and capital planet where you pick up the missions and where the vendor is located. Jedi Order: (Tython) New Crystal Colors and Robes, Republic Forces: (Coruscant) New Pets and Armor, Smuggler Union: (Ord Mantell) New gear, pets, and grenades and other usuable abilities. And a mirror version of each for the imperials. New Social Feature: -Posture, by now typing /lean, /arms crossed, /attention players can use new idle animations.
  11. Well you can have covert gear, I guess you can have an uncloaked predator gun. Now people can play the part of the Predator, if you just take all sense of intelligence from the creature.

  13. In this game there seems to be level for everything, be it the base level, the Valor level, the Social level, etc.. But what I believe the game requires next is a Guild level. Seeing the somewhat poor state of guilds in the game I think this may add a reason for people wanting to join guilds other than just because. Essentially it would first and foremost be something the guild could work towards as a whole allowing for both an investment, in the guild, and a sense of purpose for the individuals in the guild. I figured it could start off with the base level allowing access to the guild bank, as it is in the game already, and then with each new level some new content would be unlocked, such as increasing the max number of guild ranks, at the moment the max is 10, the ability to include your guild rank as part of your title, the ability for the guildmaster to create Guild Armor, the ability to create guild missions, and of course Guild Ships, and specialty Guild Vendors on said ships. In regards to Guild Armor it would be simply choosing from the template armor in the game with the ability to choose a pattern and the color for the pattern or the area outside of the pattern, if not both. The player missions could just be done as mission boxes, so they wouldn't require any voice work. Pretty much everything I suggested with the exception of the Guild Ships could be easily implemented into the game more or less, and I think would add some much needed elements to the game. Sorry for the large run on paragraph here, but voice your thought and let me know what you think about this idea and if anything else should be added to the list of these unlockables.
