  3. If the planets are already so exaggerated that we're seeing them full size despite them being systems away (not far fetched when already see distant moons close enough for it to be "Night of the 3rd Day") I'd say it's Ziost
  4. I love the colour scheme from the Bounty Hunter DPS Campaign gear, but I hate the chest piece. I want to be able to apply this colour scheme to a different chest piece
  5. After many days waiting, the ewok trap was finally sprung. The ewoks prepared to feast for the first time in months, however they were ordered by their god to release their food. They then held a banquet in his honour, mustering all remaining food in the village to donate to their guests. With no food, and many of their providers victims of war, the ewok village was soon no more.
  6. I'm curious as to why Republic and Imperial players are not able to team together for the new ops? From a story perspective this seems to make sense as we are both there with a common goal. I played City of Heroes for a number of years. Those familiar with the game know that there was also a separate part of the game with it's own faction called City of Villains. Both of these factions had their own endgame content. Eventually though, as the game story progressed, greater threats emerged which gave the two factions reasons to work alongside eachother. Future endgame content allowed both heroes and villains to group together (in specific areas and zones) to do these shared engame raids together. This also unified the community in a huge way. In SWTOR all the endgame content is virtually identical, except for maybe a few cutscenes and a hard mode task force. Many of these operations will likely be canonized as joint forces of imperial and republic strike teams storywise anyways. It seems It would make sense to allow a team consisting of both imperial and republic forces to work together to end the Dread Guard threat. The community could also benefit from this as well, as it would allow more interactivity between the sides. Currently in the game, you pretty much play with your friends. Most people I know on imperial side simply don't play any republic characters because it would be of no benefit to their guild or friends. Playing a pub character could mean them missing out on something they could be doing on Imperial side to benefit their main characters. If both sides could share this content, then I think more people would be willing to level other faction alts, and might see more of the story of the game.
  7. Ann Crispin passed away yesterday after a long battle with cancer. For those of you familiar with EU books, you may know her as the author of The Han Solo Trilogy. One of the first SW novels I owned was the Hutt Gambit, book 2 in the trilogy. This book explained the backstory of Han's work with Jabba, introduced us to his rivalry with Boba Fett, friendship with Land, and love interest of Bria. Followed up by Rebel Dawn, which gave the best description of Sabaac, explained how Han won the Falcon, and set the stage for the events of the first movie. These books were very well travelled, I lent them out to nearly all my friends, to the point where i had to replace one of them. Years later i finally obtained Paradise Snare, the first book in the series, which was the story of young Han, his life in servitude, his learning of Shyriiwook, and his dismissal from the imperial navy over his rescue of Chewbacca. Even people who dislike the rest of the SW EU will find these books quite enjoyable. Everything from the Kessel run, to the Sabaac Idiot's array, to Hutt reproduction is touched upon, and if you have somehow missed reading these books in the few decades they've been out, you owe it to yourself to check them out. Paradise Snare Hutt Gambit Rebel Dawn. Thanks again Ann Crispin, for your contribution to the SW Expanded Universe, other Science Fiction works, and your fight for Writer's rights. You will be missed.

  9. See, I had a number of coins saved from subscription, but I did spend money for the rest. I already understand that it's a gamble, and that there are better uses of my money, but I also quite enjoy the game, and want to see it be successful, so I don't mind spending a bit extra on it. that said, I'm just wondering what the particular rarity of it is. I'm assuming I was just unlucky with my packs.
  10. There was only 1 item I wanted from this pack, but within 60 freelancer packs, not once did I find a veractyl I understand it's a gamble, and that it's a waste of money, but I've never felt like I wasted as much money as I did today with these hypercrates.
  11. wait, someone mentioned Bothawui? OMG Bothans! There are some great story possibilities here.
  12. This is also one of my favourite moments. Ganner was not a perfect Jedi, he wasn't even a good jedi to be honest. He was sort of background, originally, but as he started getting things to do, well he started messing them up. This event was basically his redemption. It was that despite his failures, he had a role to play in the galaxy. Once he understood what this role was, he became one with the force. He knew that he would not survive, but there is no death, only the force. He was at peace, gave himself over to the force, and fulfilled his destiny. It certainly is one of the greatest moments in the series. In terms of other feats. You could argue that both Kyle Katarn and Darth Revan had defeated entire legions in battle, however this was within the context of a game, so might not be as good of a comparison to a literal novel story telling. I do know there are other characters that have obtained oneness with the force, but I am unaware of those details.
  13. It's going to be able to walk on all fours
