  1. That angle sounds so much better than what we currently have. Right now I can't seem to care about the Republic and Empire killing each other by orders of warmongers with grudges. Unless they are being manipulated to fight each other; yet again. In which case I would rather focus on that instead of being a pawn in the front line running seemly aleatory errands.
  2. I am a lot more interested in this Force plague mentioned.
  3. And because majority dislikes Kotfe, the the things I liked will fade into oblivion. I have conflicted feelings about this.
  4. While I agree that the quality of the story has been progressively decaying, I wouldn't blame only the writers. There is enough information in the internet (that could or not be truth) about some of the behind scenes events of bioware that makes me wander whether their are trying to make a martyr of themselves. But that is a whole different discussion, so lets not go there. What I'm really having trouble is understanding the appeal of two civilizations wiping each other out over nothing, I really can't see what they are fighting for during onslaught. Will this thing end when one side cease to exist? The Empire and Republic, Jedi and Stih; they are all based in Ideas and Ideals, how you tackle life, how you treat others, what do you do with power, those things can't be destroyed. Honestly, I think Huttbraker is the most sane character here, I did kill those two council members (whose names I have trouble to spell right now) so her people could remain neutral.
  5. Well, they actually didn't advertised the story that much, but it still was easy to get carried away just by the word expansion. Also, I don't actually expect any story updates till December, that will probably be just a tease from where the epilogue left off, And then wait till February/March for another tease. As for what to do during all that time, there is a reason why I take long brakes from this game (and others.)
  6. I just can't seem to understand what people are liking about it, all I see are just the same two warmongers governments (Empire v/s Republics) meaningless kill each other. Honestly my main Jedi Shadow just wanted to do a "Blast this, I'm out of here.", at least I got to reject the deal at the end. Maybe I'm missing something important somewhere and I need some clarification on some points of the story. Or maybe I just have a (really) bad taste (by some people) in story telling because I did like Kotfe a lot, and the Jedi Consular story for that matter.
  7. I main a shadow tank for everything; PvP, PvE-group and PvE-solo, and i have to say I'm not worried about the changes. That is mostly because of my "Tank Philosophy" (That's what i call it), where I say: "A tank isn't meant to damage, is meant to survive". I always run with a dps companion and I let them do all The job while I just take the aggro and damage, sure the fights take longer but as long as I can survive I'm fine with it. If for some reason I'm struggling with a boss then I use a healer companion.
  8. It's not a bad idea, I would love to change some companions body type, with this i could do it.
  9. I have the exact same problem with Nadia. From the moment Ranos said that Nadia disappeared in wild space, my creativity kicked in and started to shape an idea, where Nadia was marooned in some planet with an ancient and mystical temple created by some unknown Force user cult, there she would spend the last eight years training in the Force and looking for a way offplanet.
  10. I have to say, as someone who mains a shadow, this has only been a disappointment and I expect somehow being disappointed for Iresso returns even if i expect nothing. I guess i will be something like this:
  11. I have to say, I've seen worse. I still remember the early years of Wakfu, the devs barely communicated with any community outside the french one and the game was a rollback after rollback. The only game with good communication between the players and the devs that I have played was Runescape. I have to agreed with OP this time, there many players, except for the APAC ones, who are just exaggerating. I'm not from USA, but i play the game with 180 ms just fine.
  12. That is what i said. The token Fragment you mentions are the Unassembled Components.
  13. I have to agree, solo content need some balance
  14. After a lot of thought I got a simple solution to the GC, because lets face it, that thing is here to stay no mater how much one hates it. Make unassembled components drop from flashpoints and uprisings, that way one could just run through that content and farm the components to buy the unassembled gear piece using the command tokens. With this one could run an ops, flashpoint/uprising or do pvp and always be rewarded by gear pieces or components.
