  1. I just have to say that as a fresh level 55 I would have to agree, I was able to do all level 50 flashpoints as a level 55. They were easy but I just wanted to do them for story purposes. Now I am unable to queue for any of the OPS mentioned, I am trying to just do the old fashioned general talk to get a group but they seem to fall apart quickly. So yeah I think it would be great if 55's could still queue for the OPS since we can still do all the flashpoints this makes little sense.
  2. I am not opposed to this idea it would be fun and add something more to the game but I would think that once you change sides there is no going back.
  3. As someone who has a complete Chiss Legacy I was really excited to be able to have a new Legacy member with some new appearances. Although like everyone says it said right on it what is being offered. I did buy it myself and am now a proud Chiss Tropper with pink hair! Although I still am sorely disappointed in the limited options that were given.
  4. I think there are options to make them old using complexion during character creation
  5. Gormak for Empire and Voss for republic, we always need those mirror classes
  6. I have been thinking recently how difficult it will be for the dev team to include a new class in the game. It would be so many man hours to create new voice overs for the character and many more man hours to write a full new class story. Not to mention the difficulty with integrating the story with the existing one. They only way around this (From I thought up) is adding in a prestige class, similar to the death knight in WoW. I am not saying that this game should be WoW far from it. I just think it would be easiest way for the dev's to actually (eventually) add in a new class. Now I wish I had more ideas on what that class could be but that is why I turn to you, the community. What do think of this idea? What do you think would suit a class like this? The only thing I really came up with was a Voss class, you just start on the planet Voss maybe at around level 40, do some new missions in an area available only to new Voss and then they begin the actually normal missions at the appropriate level for Voss. But yeah would love to hear some other people's ideas on this.
  7. I thought I heard (a long time ago) that they would be getting rid of the stat bonus for color crystals. I haven't seen or heard anything of it since I have been back playing again. Just wondering if anyone knows if this was scrapped or did I just dream this?
  8. So best place to start would be running HM Black talon for my PT? Wow I don't think I ever said that out loud........it just makes sense.
  9. This kinda brings up another question actually. Are the requirements for 50 HM FP less or more than SM ops?
  10. Oh that's good! My tank currently has two pieces that he got from classic commendations and am replacing everything with blues for tanking. By the sounds of it that should suffice.
  11. Just curious if there are any serious requirements for SM ops. I recall seeing that SM EV is easy enough but I imagine that running in wearing green quality gear will get you killed. I just want to know to what extend I just plan on gearing out my guy to just to try to run it. I have a PT who I want to tank with, although still missing a few pieces of tank gear to fill out my ensemble.
  12. I like how whenever a group finish's the Torvix mission everyone commits suicide. "yay we defeated the bad guy! Now let's end our own lives so we can let people know sooner"
  13. I agree with you entirely. I find it difficult to learn the higher level flashpoints because everyone just flies through them skipping nearly all the baddies and since I am not familiar with the path they take I clearly fall from the path and aggro some mobs. I then get told to learn to play and then kicked from the group. I have ended up by looking up all the flashpoints on youtube so that I can at least do them some what proficiently on the first try. Although I personally feel like it ruins the fun, I don't get to actual learn them for myself. I study them just so I can get through them. I have spent hours in fleet looking for either patient people or newbies who want to take the time and learn the flashpoints for the first time but either met with ridicule by my fellow players or cricket silence. It would just go a long way for this game that the high level people will slow down and be patient with people new to the flashpoint.
  14. What most other people have said you just pick what you or your character would pick. I often don't even look at what is the light side option or not I just hit 1, 2 or 3 for whatever answer suits me, if it's light so be it if it's dark then that's good too.
