I do find it amusing that people think the data modules are worthless. I have a small trade going with selling blue 22 augs on the GTN. They don't sell like hotcakes but they do sell and have helped keep my stockpile of blue mats down.

Or you could use those some commendations to buy a new weapon and skip the pieces & parts game. Sure, if you find a weapon you like the look of (and it's an orange shell) certainly keep it and upgrade it. But it's a heck of a lot less hassle to just replace the entire thing. Save the weapon dissection for end game.

Be aware it's usually cheaper to get a whole new weapon instead of constantly changing weapon pieces.

Naturally there isn't a black hole weapon available, at least not from comms. Same for Rakata & Columni. I think there might be from Tionese but it's the same rating as from daily comms anyway. It's another way that armstech is treated different from the others. You can get armor with tokens but not weapons because ... they're weapons. It's the only reason I can think of. Very frustrating.

Doing RE'ing to get upgrade schematics of Vibroknives and Scatterguns seems to be not implemented. Will be ever be able to RE into better versions of Vibroknives and Scatterguns as Armstechs?

I've generally shyed away from the space missions because I was leveling too fast even without them but I am curious. Which space mission is the 'final' one that unlocks the daily one? I might try and get that to gather more daily commendations.

Techstaff or Techsword. I personally like the look of her with a sword better. Opted for a purple crafted one over the blue staff offered on the quest.

You can get blue vibroknife schematics back from some missions. I've got 2 so far (lvl 25 & 37, I think) I do agree you should be able to RE them and learn blue recipies just like all the other armstech recipies.
