  1. Ummm, No? Maybe the 4k part by using 2 abilities which use up ~40 energy, but heals and stealth? I think you are confused and combining snipers with operatives.
  2. I see marauders with a leap, and push. Sorcs with a knockback and pull(friendlies). BH with a knockback and pull(enemies). I only played a sniper IA all i get is a knockback.
  3. I wish every class got a push/pull in addition to a knockback like 3/4 of the classes.... Whats up with the IA's not getting a push or pull like the other 3 classes?
  4. I'm not sure if the OP thought of this yet or if it was a point he's tried getting across. Perhaps the instants shouldn't be on GCD until they are activated. In other words, the instant only goes on GCD when they are cast, so you still cant spam it but it is a true instant ability. I really have no idea TBH.
  5. You cant snipe unless you are in cover, cover itself takes .5 seconds to get in (animation lag), so unless your 1 snipe kills the person, the skill is mostly useless. 2 points could be well spent elsewhere for more advantage (like legshot cd reduction).
  6. The only way I see the OP's point is on things like skill abilities. At least on my sniper when I unlocked snap shot "Entering cover has a 100% chance to make the next snipe activate instantly" yet it triggers a GCD of 1.5 seconds when it takes only 1.4 seconds to cast rendering those 2 points in the skill tree useless. Ill just do my snipe damage 1.4 seconds sooner but still not be able to do any additional damage in between which is not very advantageous. I agree that instant abilities should trigger a GCD, but when channeled abilities can be made instant by applying skill points, they should not trigger a GCD since it defeats the whole purpose of it being an advantage in the first place.

  10. Thanks for the replies guys! Also, I am not just looking for responses to what I listed, but additional things you think should be working or in a 2012 MMO. So if you have anything you think is broken or "annoying" that could easily be fixed or remedied please add your comment with suggestions for improvement.
  11. All, I recently cancelled my subscription but renewed it because a couple of friends started playing and I wanted to try rolling a new character. That being said, there are a few blatant deficiencies/bugs that I feel should have been fixed a while ago, but are still around and I'd like to list them here and perhaps see some posts here with other peoples views of what they think is broken and should have been fixed by now. All of these are pvp related, but I would like to see anyone's complaints about what makes them want to cancel their subscription. 1. Warzone wins not counting. I have heard numerous reports and so far have heard of 2 reasons as to why this happens: -First player that joins the warzone leaves before the warzone ends. -Tracking the missions related to warzone wins makes them potentially not count. This has supposedly been happening since beta, why is it still happening 2 months later? Suggestion: This is a major bug (or bugs) that essentially breaks the end-game pvp progression. It should be a P1-critical on your bug list. 2. Players will occasionally get stuck and glitch in place during a warzone match. I see this all the time and it is most annoying when the enemy ball carrier in huttball starts glitching in place (nowhere near the end zone) then winds up scoring out of nowhere. Maybe its just me? Suggestion : fix this if it is not only me that sees this. 3. PVP Medal system seems to favor certain classes or hybrid specs (dps/heal, tank/heal, tank/dps). Classes (or specs) that do not mix these types (like a sniper) get the short end of the stick when it comes to placement on the boards and MVP votes because in general majority (not all) of people vote for those with most medals. Suggestion: change the medals system so that everyone has an equal chance to get them, and make the medals more objective oriented (i.e get 1000 objective points, kill a flag carrier, interrupt bomb placement x times, etc...) 4. Illum armament daily is a drag when there are 5+ other people doing it with you going in circles. They increased the spawn time of the armaments boxes to prevent farming, and promote pvp. But in my server the republic always got beaten in Illum, and now that the imp's have to spend more time there to collect armaments the rep's rarely show up because they know they will be killed. So in essence people go in circles more now and there is less pvp than before. Suggestion : make the daily be to collect only 10-15 armaments, or reduce (not increase) the spawn time of boxes so that more republic show up. 5. After creating a party to pvp with, entering a warzone and completing it the party is dismantled, you are automatically placed back in warzone queue solo. This makes me have to leave the warzone queue, reinvite everyone over again, tell them to leave their queues, and then requeue everyone. Suggestion: Just keep me in my party after completing a warzone and automatically requeue the party together so there isn't this shenanigans after completing a warzone. 6. There is no penalty for leaving a warzone mid-match. Many times I have been in close games where that 1 person would have made the difference but left mid-game resulting in an unwanted experience. I understand sometimes people have to leave, but don't allow them to jump right back in the queue after doing so. Suggestion : Put a 15-20 minute penalty on people who leave warzones early as to prevent sore losers from hopping around and ruining the game for people. I will edit this post as I think of more, but please post up what you think is broken, and suggestions of how to improve it.
  12. Well, back to the 6-7 medals as sniper while sorcs are getting 9-10 every game and everyone votes for the medal winners instead of the objective leaders . Glad I cancelled my account, maybe one day BW will know how to balance a game, OR better yet learn the basics about basic mechanisms. Medals do not promote actual wz gameplay...
  13. If that's the case where do you draw your line at meeting 25%? If it starts at 25% and his probability has dropped to 17% whose to say it wont drop to 10% over the next 10 bags? After all its random no? Your statement that the next few bags he opens have a higher than 25% chance of giving him a BM commendation because he is at 17% rate now is completely false logic. There will ALWAYS be a 25% chance of getting a BM commendation when opening a BM bag regardless of the history of your previous bags. The fact that it is random means that he "could" open 100 bags and not get a single one... THAT is why the randomness is a stupid implementation. The champion bag mechanics now are much much better.
  14. Instead of all this rigorous testing which can leave some cases behind they should just revamp the entire architecture so that no specific player affects anyone else from their own quest completion. They have had over 2 months to do this. Ridiculous...
