  1. I am a full Battlemaster equipped Combat Medic looking at the War Hero armor only to find that War Hero actually isn't that much of a jump in stats at all and in fact i lose stats in some areas. Is it that they want us to rely more on expertise than actual stats to PvP with? (because this is the only increase in stats that i get per peice) Has anyone really noticed this as well for any other class? Any insight would be appreciated.
  2. Discussion: For PvP Warzones, maxing out the 4 medals to get max valour and comms seems to promote mediocrity because if i go into a warzone and just do damage, i can get 4 medals easy. Why not just keep doing damage rather than play objectives if i can get max rewards for just getting 4 medals? It seems a waste to implement 18 new medals and not utilize them all. Question: If i join a warzone that was already in progress, do i have the option to quit and not get penalized for it? I shouldn't be forced to play a warzone that someone else quit from. Question: Is there something in the works currently to allow stealth classes to send in their companions first? How it works right now is that when the companion goes into combat, it takes u out of stealth.
  3. lol 40-70k for a 340 mission? thats harsh. I thought i had it bad buying them at 10k per pop...i do agree with you though on the chance to fail...seems kinda...fail...if you know what i am saying
  4. I am not one of the best on my server, but i do more damage than the average player on my server. I often have the same problem as you do even when i burn all my CD's. I have a Scoundrel and i have trouble taking down healers quite often. If i land crits back to back i can SOMETIMES/RARELY solo healers. Besides healers being at half hp when i open up on them or having someone else with me, i can't really solo a healer. So i know what you mean. The problem i have though, which you don't because you use a different system, is that i run out of energy before i can out dps their heals. Flip side of this arugement though, if they are constantly having to heal themselves, they aren't healing others.
  5. Really? More op than Biochem? Nothing would beat Biochem at this point tbh. A 3600-4000k heal every minute and thirty seconds, a stim that increases a major stat and a bonus stat, and an adrenal that gives a significant boost to a stat for burst heals/damage or increased tankiness. I restated these just in case you forgot when you made the statement "at 1 minute cd or unshared cd they'd be disgustinly overpowered worse than even Biochem." Bringing the Cybertech's grenadas to a minute cd would actually get players to stop dropping their current crafting profession to switch over to Biochem. Serious balances/changes need to be made to Biochem or all other crafting professions need to be put on par with Biochem (which i think is the better decision at this point). Because Biochem is the clear choice of crafting for pvper's which persuades people from doing any other crafting other than Biochem. (which at this point it doesn't matter because Armormech and Armstech are practically useless. Cybertech only thing good is the ship parts and grenadas but hey the grenadas are on a 5 min cd so forget that. Anything u get from Artifice can be easily replaced by doing a couple of hardmodes or WZs. Synthweaving, read over Artifice again.) P.S.: No, Armormech on a pvp toon is useless. (which i have unfortunately)

  7. So I picked up a project on the side, that being to which was truly better fully crafted armor (appearance armor mainly with high end mods, armoring, etc) or champion/pvp gear. I started out with making high end mods, armoring, etc thinking i was doing well and this ought to come close to champ gear. But then i saw someone advertising to sell an Armoring 25 that they had gotten from a HM FP. I compared the highest armoring i could make to that and my armoring didn't even get close. But basically long story short, learned that u get these Armoring 25s, Mod 25s, etc from HM FPs which seems kinda silly. Yea i understand PvE'ing to get them and such...but if u are wanting to do something like i am it could take months to get all the right item modifications. Basically what i am getting at though is that why these things aren't schematics instead? I wouldn't care if it needed HM's crafting materials or raid materials to craft, i craft them because i know FOR A FACT the crafting materials will drop. These item modifications, while yes they have their uses, are practically useless unless u get the coresponding item modifications to put into a weapon/armor piece. To me it seems like a bad mechanic in general that involves either option A) tons of time, and I mean TONS OF TIME, to spend on HM's or option B) tons of money to buy the item modifications off people selling them. To me, these 25's things would rival the champ gear and possibly beat it out but the problem is getting them. I would much rather spend my time PvP'ing, getting valour and money at the same time i am getting champ bags. In closing, if these item modifications dropped as mats it would seem like a possible hold over til champ gear or even to outlast champ gear in the long run. This would also give more meaning to crafters in general if they were able to produce these item modifications. Thus increasing people wanting to do HM FP's for the materials. U can argue that since u are doing HM FP's why not just try for the item modifications? no it really isnt the same as KNOWING u are going to get a crafting material. Thoughts or Opinions anyone?
  8. i lawled...clearly OP is crying hard but has to try and put some poor reasoning behind his poor reasoning if u catch my drift. why cant u play against your own level? honestly lol u talk about skill yet u want to pvp against lower levels...hmmm....as far as answering your other questions, dont really need to. when u want to take advantage of the system why bother with your fail QQ attempts?
  9. Agreed 100% on all of that. In my ticket i included that...that the instance WAS NOT complete, we needed to talk to the last guy. I honestly would have liked for them to take more time and polish the game up before throwing us a half completed game. Tried doing the 10+ to all stats datacron and that resulted in a lot of frustration because you have to glitch one guy up into the right spot BECAUSE it doesn't work like it should. The list of problems literally goes on and on.
  10. I was raging after this happened but ran a group through HM Taral V fairly easily. When we get got to the last boss we had some trouble but we still brought him down. Thing is though we died in the process. The boss summons droids periodically throughout the fight and we killed them before hand. When we saw the boss go into Enrage we just targeted the boss and our last man up killed the boss but the droids in turn killed our last man up. When we cloned out it turns out it locked us out even when we still had someone to talk to at the very end about getting some Gree stuff or what now. (Don't really listen to the story line too much) Anyways though, so missed the chance to loot the final boss which means we missed a possible armor/schematic drop and the biometric crystal alloy. Im really big into crafting so people can see where my disappointment comes from when i missed an opportunity to make one of the best medpacks in the game if not the best. Still haven't heard anything from a gm....awesome.
  11. Agreed with OP. A+ on presentation and agruement. Sorry if i sound like a school teacher lol anyways though... This is just a thought as i was looking over the suggestions in place of Telekentic Throw. So here is my suggestion. Rename the skill to Telekentic Barrage (not sure if there is an ability already called it) and have the animation go something like this:Begin to channel ability, lightsaber to the side, bring hand up to your face then begin making slashes with your arm in diagonal repeating motions until the end of the channel. During the channel you send out what looks like either A- slashes of telekentic force hitting the target or B- jabs of telekentic force hitting almost like needles of sorts (if B then keep the same channel phrase as Telekentic Throw). I liked option A more but just my two cents.
  12. Exactly...biochem is definitely not op but it is better than what yall are making it out to be. Yall are missing really the main point. The Rakata reuseable medpacs are the blue critted version and purple version of the Ultimate medpacs combined on steriods. Yall are saying that you will just buy the Ultimate medpacks the blue version but if i were to sell them i would sell them for a high price seeing as how it is hard make. You would be spending all your money on my medpacs which in turn i can use to on whatever. I could probably use the money i get from making my medpacs to fund getting the rare materials needed for the medpacs and farm the rest of the materials myself and make a hefter profit.
  13. Funny thing is that the game isn't even finished and people are still flocking to this game. Legacy system hasn't been released (what it is gonna do), and the MULTIPLE graphical errors that keep reappearing. Not to mention as well the many bugs in the game as well such as companion quests not appearing, failure to update a quest properly, companions also glitching and healing you from the ceiling, list really does go on and on. Call it QQ if you want, but if I am gonna play this much money for the CE and Monthly subscription, I expect a finished game. I would have honestly liked it more if they took more time to finish up the game up and allowed more testing to take place. I have a lvl 38 Jedi Guardian and you can tell proper testing was not done on Hoth. (FYI to anyone who goes to Hoth, your companion does not hop off with you if you get blown off your speeder or if you simply hop off your speeder yourself)
  14. Sad to say i agree with you but you are clearly over reacting. The game is great in a lot of other places and that is what is keeping me playing me it until they fix everything else. I think what hurt them the most was that they didn''t make it an open beta which was foolish. But oh well.
  15. Agreed, I would definitely use Full Auto and Mortar Volley if both were fixed or made out to be on par with the Bounty Hunter's respective abilities. Because of the Induction time on Death from Above, I find that I see more BH's using Death from Above in very basic scenarios as compared to Troopers barely using Mortar Volley except in Objective PvP which shouldn't be the case. Again as some people have said in this thread, they are suppose to be mirrors of each other and OP's vidoe clearly shows they aren't. Fix please.
