  1. As a low dps Defense Guardian on this planet, I can truthfully say I'm bored out of my mind. The quests aren't interesting and they require a ton of travel. There are trash mobs EVERYWHERE, there are numerous walls and pieces of terrain blocking easy transversal of the map and the terrain itself in genuinely uninteresting. It just feels like a grind. Are Voss and Corellia any better? For the record, the only other part of the game I've despised up until this point was Taris. Ugh. *shudders*
  2. I realize you are trolling, but Blizzard receives just as much hate as Bioware does. Its the nature of the beast. At this very moment, people are crying on Blizzard forums and threatening to cancel their 7+ year subscriptions because of an optional buff in the newest raid to make it more accessible. Also, Diablo is not an MMO. Thanks for trying though.
  3. They have included PVP and must attempt to balance it. Again, the game is not centered on PVP but its exsistence requires developer attention.
  4. If you did ANY research prior to release, you knew this game would never be PVP centric. Games of this nature rarely are. This game has always been about story driven questing and PVE content. If you want hardcore sci-fi PVP action, EVE will satisfy your needs and then some. Be warned, its not for the faint of heart and has many frustrating game mechanics and sytems of its own. However, its PVP is seemingly without rival in modern MMOs. If you want first-class character progression/development and a fantastic Star Wars atmosphere, then this is your game. Carry on.
  5. Gathering/Crafting/Mission skills in this game are called Crew Skills. They can be unlearned at anytime and learned/relearned at the appropriate trainer. Crew Skill trainers can be found at all major hubs (Coruscant, Dromund Kaas, Nar Shadaa, etc.) including and most notably at your faction's fleet. With that said, I don't think you actually learned a crafting skill on Tython. You are probably thinking of when you edited mods in you gear, which anyone can do at anytime.
  6. If you don't notice a difference then I may be better off just putting it on my old crappy HDD that it is currently running from. It's worth noting that my current HDD is 5400 RPM WD Blue Drive. It's the only component in my rig that absolutely sucks.
  7. I'm getting a 120 GB SSD this weekend. From researching them, it seems that programs that write frequently can shorten the lifespan of the SSD. Is it a bad idea to put SWTOR on an SSD?
