  1. Told you back in January after playing this for a week that it would be F2P within a year, you all laughed and abused me so can I just say...I TOLD YOU SO! F2P won't save it though, a bad game is a bad game and people simply won't play it. Lets be honest here, when every PvP server is transferring the players into ONE PvP server and even then the server is not full This is a game in total meltdown.
  2. You are correct, all the PvP'ers left ages ago.
  3. Having purchased BF3 on Saturday and having to wait a day to play the single player campaign and forced to use origin I can answer this poll with a simple: I will never purchase another EA game, I don't care how good it turns out to be.
  4. This game will die simply because the overhaul that is required would mean destroying more than half the game content. The fact is there are far too many planets and too few players this is why world pvp never happens, this is why there is no immersion, this is why it feels like a single player game. You see to have a world with all these planets you would need about 30k people per server and we all know thats not going to happen. The playing world is far too big for the ****** limits of the game engine, it can't even cope with more than 8 v 8 in the battlegrounds ffs. There is little or no chance of putting 30k people all on the same server and without this number of people it's always going to feel empty. Solution get rid of half the planets and we all know that's never going to happen, so RIP SWTOR.
  5. Not played for about 3 weeks, have 14 days left of my free month. I plan to start a healer in Rift and play that for a few months.
  6. The funniest. Fact is you can post anything you like but it does not alter the fact that only 1 server at peak weekend playtime in the entire European English speaking realm is heavy, the rest are mainly light with a few standard dotted around. So if you guys want to call this a success then far be it from me to get in the way, go have your party. Oh and BTW even if they make a profit on SWTOR that does not constitute success. The fact is a SW MMO properly developed should and could easily corner the MMO market. I put SWTOR down as a massive failure that was badly managed and terribly executed, the devs lacked any vision, took little to no notice of the beta testers and certainly are clueless as to what makes a good MMO. But carry on with your big success party.
  7. I correctly predicted the mass exodus that has occured back in December when everyone was raving about how great this game was. I now predict that this game will only maintain about 200k subs by the end of summer and will go F2P at Christmas.
  8. This is why 99% of gamers HATE EA, they just talk utter ******** all the time instead of holding up their hand and addressing the problem, they will never learn.
  9. In that case I won't be buying it then.
  10. He is not qualified, he tells the truth.
  11. Saturday evening is here in Europe and nearly every server is Light, WOW just WOW what a fall from a very high place, $300 million Dolla and it's all dead after 5 months
  12. After playing this game for 1 week I predicted a huge loss of subs and a deserted game within 3 months, I was laughed at on the forums, I guess I had the last laugh.
  13. That is why they get called Fanboys, no matter how bad things get they will blindly defend the game. The irony is it is these people that are partly responsible for the dire state of the gaming industry. If they stopped brown nosing so much and spoke the truth the developers may well have to listen and improve the game, but as long as the fan boys clap, publishers will continue to release sub standard games.
  14. Levelling up They won't admit it, the SWTOR fans won't admit it but the Voice Acting model for an MMO has been a total and utter failure. An MMO should never be linear, but SWTOR is as linear as it comes, it's like watching the same film over and over, you literally have no choice but to do the same missions in exactly the same place with exactly the same outcome. I had 2 accounts in WOW and both had shed loads of alts and not one of them followed the same path to top level. Stunwars A PvP encounter goes something like, Stun, knockback, stun, pew, pew, stun, knockback, Mez, pew, stun...you get the idea. World PvP Never seen any so can't comment... again you get the idea. Crafting Why? Everytime you think you have a reason to craft a patch comes out to ruin it. I think the Devs model for crafting is to let all players have everything. Warzones 8 v 8 are you serious? I was playing 40 v 40 5 years ago in WOW, where is the progress? I though games expanded with technology and got bigger and better not smaller and *******. The Grind Someone posted that you need 84000 games in Warzones to get your full gear set. Well am not sure about that but I have grinded my way to valour 61 and then came to my senses and unsubbed. I asked myself why was I doing this as it was not fun, I asked myself what would I do when I had the full War Hero set. I could not go out and do world PvP as there was none, I could not go and attack an enemy faction base as the guards have 200K HP, besides it would be deserted anyway. The answer is there is literally no point in having the best gear as there is nothing to do when you get it. Conclusion I honestly think this game has gone to far in the wrong direction to be fixed, they should just go F2P bring in new blood and make as much money as possible from them and write the whole thing off as a disaster. I just hope the people that were behind this utter abomination of an MMO are never allowed to make another.
  15. And this is why most of them left because most PvP players want a dangerous world to quest in. They want to be attacked while questing, that's the whole point of a PvP server, it's supposed to be dangerous. The only reason I played WOW was to level alts and have amazing world pvp, once the addons came out and Azeroth got deserted I quit.
