  1. If I were to make a PvP video of my Commando, what would I ya'll as a viewer not want to see and what would you rather see? I'm mainly a Combat Medic http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#800bfRMRdcdkqZRcoM.1 I'm not the perfect 50 Commando with decked out BM or Champ. In fact, I'm suffering from what most troopers suffer through still.. the unmatching armor. I try and get my heals out to others as much as I would myself while being able to throw some bolts down range. I want to see what you guys want to see in a video of a commando before I just throw one out and look terrible. Chances are, I may not even do the footage until after Patch 1.1 actually releases on time. Maybe by that time I can get my gear together a lil bit too. x.x Thanks for reading, thanks for replyin'
  2. I wasn't grinding your build up man lol I was just putting input on the charged bolts spam. Im fully aware that you can get free Charged Bolts and Commando is all I play still. :3 I think its hilarious when people waste their interrupt on my charged bolts too thinkin im a GR spammer. Now i gets to healz!
  3. Even as a full CM, the Charged Bolts spam @ 1 ammo a use is pretty good if you already at max ammo. Damage is not. But still fun to pew pew at people when no one needs heals(yet)
  4. Inigo Yes he does look like him. No I didn't get the Montoya legacy. =(
  5. I'd think higher damage output because theres the Primary for the first blaster, then theres the offhand blaster to account for and it might have some weapon damage conflicts between the two blasters that cause it to not do much more damage. This is without much research on Dual Wielding for this game, just a thought. Im not sure if the two blaster damages average out or have stand alone damages. An instance where the cannon does 500dmg Primary blaster does 500dmg Secondary blaster does 500 dmg Average to same amount of damage What would happen if the primary has 500dmg but the Secondary had like 300dmg? It'd do about 400 dmg when he uses Rapid Shots, in theory. Hard to test that myself since I do not have a Merc of my own to test it with.
  6. Alright if thats what you want to do, stay the course. The one point from Efficient Conversions should do good into the Armor Screen if you intend to use AMD a lot, like I love to do xD I run full combat medic so seeing this is pretty interesting. The switching cells thing is a risk in the PvP environment but I think you'll do fine as you can set people ablaze anyway with Inc Round in any cell.
  7. From what i gather.. Assault is good for getting dps medals because some have the tendency to NOT finish their kills, just make em burn. But you have almost all the mobility you want to use. Gunnery is good for just killing people. And is very shallow in complexity for its damage. And is not very mobile at all. I didn't like playing either so I throw my dirty heals on people.
  8. My quirk in this one is the Efficient Conversions. That's not as useful as it seems. Or at least i never did. You could take that one point into Armor Screen or more into Field Training. I like how it works as you give some DoT to the field so anything that activates with an impairment like DoTs will be available almost all the time. However, if you run into the Assault tree, you're moving into Plasma Cell territory while you put a point into Supercharged cells. If you like running with the Plasma Cell for the dps, consider the adjustment I made. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#800rfMMRzcbzZZcGMrzh.1 There are two points that are basically up to you, I threw them into First Responder because I like that proc. But you could take it into Med Zone in order to get up to TP, that way if you pop your shielding your TP will at least heal for a lil bit more. First Responder's alacrity might not be significant, but it will probably be almost always up with the DoTs going off. EDIT: More input
  9. I almost feel like Power comes as a priority for us mainly because say it's impossible to increase our Surge so we have a 50% Multiplier, this being the ONLY way we can increase our healing output. In a controlled number punch experiment since my character has too many factors that increase his healing at once. Say one lowbie CM does a Normal heal of 1000 - 1500 with Power/Tech Power/Aim Then when he crits at 50% multiplier, he could spike a 1500 - 2250 a MD. He spiked 500 - 750 extra healing Then you take this same CM later on whose now doing about 2000 - 2500 a MD with his increased Power/Tech Power/Aim Then he crits at 50% multiplier, he spikes between 3000 - 4750 He spiked 1000 - 1750 extra healing Of course, with those numbers, the Endurance has played its role and increased his health between his levels. But if you took a lvl50 CM who sucked at healing with his power vs a lvl50 CM who didnt suck at healing and used those numbers in the example, it would scale to it. Basically, bigger normal heals = bigger crit heals.
  10. Does Accuracy at all have any effect for Healing at this time? I noticed that under Tech Accuracy, it mentions reduced resists if over 100% but what does over 100% mean when you are healing someone else? The stat section (located Here ) is more for DPS so as a healer, our priorities might be different but I want to make sure that maybe accuracy is a benefit to us. Otherwise I only seeing it help just a lil bit with our Charged Bolts spam with supercharged cells. If accuracy isn't good for us, where would you see our priorities throughout the secondary stats? My opinion by theory, not by experience, should Power be our first priority because if you went into Surge as a second, anytime you would Crit on your heals, the heals would increase more because of how much Power you have. If you had a lower power, the Surge would effect your heals less because of how much less you already are healing, since the Crit Multiplier is a %, not a solid increase. Alacrity is where I'm more stuck on whether to stack it or how far to stack it in value. MD sounds really nice to be at 1.5, but my MD at 1.9(without First Responder, 1.8s with) seems to do pretty good even at a pace of PvP. Thanks for reading
  11. This is not a thread about buffing the healing beam to do awesome heals. I like where its at, anything above where it is just "stocking stuffers".(IMHO) Sorry if there was a thread like this at anytime before this one. I would just like this tweak more than anything than what we already want fixed. I think our healing output, at least in PvP would at least increase if they just replaced the Beam with actual rounds leaving the cannon. Much like how Mercs got theirs going on. It's pretty low key compared to our beam cannon and I find almost all Mercs seem more encouraged about using their Rapid Shots. When Commandos are being discouraged from using Hammer Shot as a heal since its basically a paint target for the Empire. Thanks for reading.
  12. Maybe as a place to get an answer, is this shield still useful to pick up either way? I seem to get knocked back, thrown around, eating dirt, etc a lot so it doesn't seem like a worthy pickup. Then again, I suppose it serves as a good place to put that last lingering point. Argh.
  13. A Calm in the War This is on the PvP server Veela. These good Empires helped myself and Zyglrox get the two datacrons on the Jawa Sand Crawler without any hostility and just had a grand chat. The fellow BH Powertech helped us by grappling us up onto the Sand Crawler's end point. Zyglrox was already on the balloon with them, but fell off after me and ventured to the sandcrawler together. Then we of course had a lil dance party in our victory for the two datacrons and exchanged alt names, etc. It's nice to not having to resort to violence once in a while. ^_^
  14. I want medals for my healings =( Its the only thing im good at.
