  1. Have noticed tons of my codex seem to be randomly wiped or reset. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to it either. Several datacrons codex are missing and I have had to go back and rediscover them. This is not a first time this has happened, this was a reported issue (by several of our guild members and other members I know) as far back 1.3, 1.4, 1.6 - and apparently it is happening again for some of us players. On at least one of my characters (have only been playing the one recently - have not checked the others yet) I have had to go back to Taris, Balmorra, Tatooine, Hoth, and Nar Shadda to pick up datacrons that I am positive I have already picked up on this particular character. This will be the third and fourth time since launch, I have had to go back and pick up random datacrons that I know I picked up already. Locations - some of my locations have been marked as undiscovered or blacked (honey comb) out. IE: When I arrived at Balmora to pick up some of my missing datacrons, half of Sobrik was "undiscovered" even though I finished this planet a long time ago and had fully discovered the area - it would not have been possible for this part of the map to be undiscovered, as when you first arrive at a planet, you do not have discovered taxis, so I would have definitely had to travel through that area. Same thing occurred on Hoth, the map showed I had never been to the area near the epic enemies, however I had codex for completing the epic enemies. Other codex issues - such as Datacrons, Lores, Beasts, etc not being entered into planetary achievements when I know I have completed things. I got both Datacrons on Makeb, and this is obviously still bugged as it still reads 0/2 datacrons for Makeb and I have got both. There are so many codex, a person could lose tons of codex and not even realize it, the tracking and accountability of codex are so unreliable with these types of bugs. I realize that a lot of these things may not directly effect "game play" aside from Datacrons, however many of us spend or have spent a lot of time (frustrating as it can be to get a datacron at times) researching, traversing and platforming to get these achievements, it is really disappointing to have much time and effort discarded because of game glitches and bugs like this. It is very discouraging to have to obtain achievements such as these, over and over, or even having to repeat it twice is enough to be highly upsetting, especially when something was really challenging the first time, the thought of having to do things over really is displeasing. We all realize (at least those of us that understand what goes into these games as far as programming, scripting, mechanics, etc) that bugs and errors happen, but when the continue to repeat or worsen, it is very frustrating and is obviously terrible for the membership base - we are paying for this, in hopes of improvements. Some of us have invested tons in this game, going back as far as pre-order, CE, multiple paid sub accounts, on going subscriptions, cartel market purchases -- we really would hope that some of these on-going issues would be addressed, and maybe prevent some future issues -- it always seems when there is an update or patch to fix something, it ends up that tons of things end up broken and then eventually, never addressed; even with multiple reports. This is such a unique game, with so much potential, but it just feels like so much more could be done to make this a truly epic game and unfortunately, it just seems like so much goes unattended and unresolved. The customer service is not that good, there are just way too many bugs/glitches, and as a subscriber, you would just hope that our patronage to this game would be respected a bit more, through dedication to fix things that we have reported over and over. To keep customers, customers have to feel like they are getting what they have paid for and most the time, its just a bunch of empty promises and broken game content.
  2. Its typically "same" class, that it happens the most. But, if you go to a planet like Hoth (many others too) riding in a mates ship, and when you go to depart Hoth, if you use the direct travel from the spaceport/landing area that takes you to "your ship" you will automatically be placed back in the person's ship you came in on, even if they don't go to their ship. People getting locked in other peoples ships, seems to be mostly resolved, but it still does happen occasionally. At one point, after an update, you would get into your ship and there would be other people stuck in your ships... some people were so stuck they had to use fleet passes to get out as they could not operate the person's ship they were stuck in. If you have "same" class members completing same missions, even if they are on their own ship, if you are still grouped, you cannot turn in/activate holo due to same class issues. Its always advisable to go to the orbital station if traveling in a group, instead of using the "your ship" feature, this seems to eliminate most the problems. Ships when docked at "air locks" seem to be more problematic as well, versus direct to orbit stations. Another goofy thing, if you travel in groups in one ship, it typically will place each player in their own hangers/airlocks even though they were riding on your ship. Kind of a lack of realism with that issue, if you go on one persons ship, you should exit and be in their hanger, not your own. If you have never experienced any of the MANY ship issues that exist, you are very lucky. My groupmate was stuck in my ship the other day, and could not get out, and her fleet pass was on cool down - she could not get out until the her CD on her fleet pass was done. It was pretty irritating as it held us up from being able to play.
  3. These above items are definitely obtainable. I will say, they are a bit tricky to get. The Lore/Org datapads/codex items are hidden very well and in locations you likely just overlooked, or didn't visit altogether. As for lower industrial section, this was the most tricky as there is no information on how to get there (at least, none that I could find) online at the usual places we find them. You will actually have to enter the republic area without getting killed by the several champion droids, actually go onto the Republic Lower Industrial taxi pad. You can actually see the taxi pad from Upper Industrial taxi pad, but you CANNOT jump down to it. You have to navigate through the building, find the right elevator, travel through several areas to finally reach the pad. Once you figure out how to get on the Lower Industrial taxi pad in the Republic area, you MUST get very close to or click on the republic taxi droid to get the codex. It is not easy to find, you will really have to look for it, and if you are not fast enough, you may get killed by the champs and/or get flagged for PvP in getting this. If you are quick, you can get past all the droids, get the codex, not get flagged and ride/jump off the platform and end up back at Upper Industrial. Good luck - I won't spoil it, but I assure you, the above things you can obtain, they are just very well hidden.
  4. I am gonna suggest this again (and again, and again it seems) - as much as I love new content, I would really like to see old bugs fixed. Things that I know were reported in beta, in test and in live that remain a problem. There are WAY TOO MANY to list individually, but you should have your records of these. The story/class bugs when traveling in ships, or with group members is something that has been a problem since day one. It is a shame to waste credits, fleet passes, priority trans to starship, when you still end up in your mates ship, or when they end up in your ship when using priority transport. Having to fly to fleet, use a fleet pass, or abort things altogether because you end up trapped in your friends ship or airlock is really old. Its a problem that was reported long ago and still is a problem. Could you PLEASE start fixing some of these issues from the past, that still haunt us today?
  5. This has come to concern of many of our guild members, as recently our guild master had to go Premium and became ineligible to be a guild leader. First and foremost, a guild master is typically the person that has paid the most money/creds into setting up and working to make a guild, so in this matter, our guild members and myself feel that there should not be a requirement of being active subscriber to be a guild leader. Obviously, a guild master was a sub at one point, and has invested, so it seems a bit unfair that it be required that a guild master remain a sub, being at one point or another has fulfilled all the requirements. Being that SWTOR currently has this goofy rule, we propose the following, if SWTOR insists a guild master be a sub: 1) Allow the guild master to name or elect a successor; be able to select a rank called "Successor" or like, which by default, if the guild master must leave the game, the leadership will be automatically transferred to this person or rank. 2) Guild leadership should never be passed to a random player - that does not make any sense. It's not only unfair, its impractical as a guild has NO WAY of knowing whether or not that player will remain or his/her activity level. It is so noted that it is passed to the most recent or most active player but just because a member is active, does not mean that he/she will remain active nor is there any way for a guild to know that the somewhat random player that is selected by the system is an appropriate leader. For example: If a person has a family emergency and SWTOR is no longer their top priority in life, and happens to have trusted members or even other family that play, it should surely go to this person, versus some other player that has no relationship to the original guild master. We have seen this happen time and time again, where people create a guild, and for some reason the leader goes inactive, and the leadership is passed to some other member, who has no relationship to the original guild master and then goes inactive him/herself and then its a real pain to get control over the guild again, and having to wait 30 days for the system to once again select a fairly random member to become guild leader is just a really bad game mechanic. In other games, the leader is often able to select a successor, in the event the leader goes inactive and by default, it goes to the elected person. Its simple enough to have a check box, where the leader can check next to the person he/she wants to name as a successor, or have a separate rank for a co-leader or something. 3) Guildleadership often has taken a person a lot of time and effort to set up, and to just hand off leadership is completely unfair, especially since this game does not have any way for a guild leader to elect or appoint a successor.
  6. TURN THIS FEATUERE OFF! Please put it back where the player can activate stuck help ONLY by pressing the button or by typing /stuck --- or at least, let people turn "auto" unstuck feature off/manual. The player should decide when he/she is stuck. This "auto-unstuck" feature causes more grief than its worth, and most the time, it teleports player away, when not even stuck. When genuinely stuck, half the time, it doesn't even work. Please put it back where we as a player can decide when/if we are stuck, not the game programming as its really a pain to be trying to get somewhere and falling between two boxes, or other situations where you could easily maneuver or get back on track and the auto-stuck feature teleports you away.
  7. I agree! Seems we are constantly led with promises that lead nowhere spectacular, and always fall short. The cartel market has done just that, the most popular items are played out - we really need a bit more control over making this "our" game, a place were we can "choose" to be and look as we wish. We have, as it is, a limited supply of companion customization, and no way to customize ourselves beyond the original make - which is pretty much fairly limited as well. It is sad, especially since there are so many possibilities that could have been made available. In some games, you can actually visit a barber or stylist (NPC) which allows you to change your look from time to time, and many of the other games I have played, allow for some many different options for outfits and the ability to dye and/or color or customize gear, so people all have a different look, if they choose. This game is nothing but a bunch of clones. Seems odd, as in the movies and stories, I don't think people all looked the same - ok, maybe the droids do, but people all looking the same... very boring.
  8. I remember when it was announced how we were going to be able to "customize" and have a great look, several updates ago... really? Everything still looks the same, and the only improvement was the character unify color feature. . . and frankly, that feature leave much to be desired. Unify Feature: Allow player to choose WHICH piece the entire suit should unify with. Ie: if you like the color of your greaves/pants, and want the entire outfit to match your pants, vs. your vestments, well... make it so. Or maybe its your helm or your boots you want to be the source of unification... as it is, the unify feature is not very good. Crafting: We need to put some power back into crafting. Our crafters ALL make the same stuff, and schematics are terribly difficult to get ahold of, unless you have the exact same schematic that everyone already has. Crafting aside from buffs and consumables, is pretty boring in this game. Crafters should be able to craft some unique items, make some creds, as well... have their craft be something unique. As it is, everyone crafts the same stuff as the person standing next to them. We all look the same, we all sound the same, and we all look like copies of other players. Do the JEDI have something against color? Why is it that every Jedi is supposed to wear a brown cloak or brown suit? Lets break out of this shell and try some different colors. The imps have way more selection (which isn't much as it is) and the Jedi, are all brown monks - devoid of any color but browns and greens! Boring.
  9. Yah, absolutely no mini games... and thousands of games have gambling, game playing, prizes, social/gaming events... just not this game. well, at least... not yet. Nar would definitely be a great place if they did, along with sprucing up the boring old cantinas. Bring it on!
  10. These settings should also include "inspection" feature and as well be able to apply them to guild/guild-members.
  11. I am all for all kinds of games and hobbies if you will. Wagers... I don't really see a problem with that either. The game is designed to separate real cash purchases, such as cartel (that's why you cannot sell "cartel items" for credits, as this separates any legality as far as what would be considered "illegal gambling" - this game could easily incorporate games, and even prizes, that are awarded - even credits, as long as they cannot be converted to redeemable cash, and as long as it doesn't cost a player any real currency to participate - this takes care of any legality issues. Nothing wrong with a wager, and/or prizes. Some people try to bring religion and morals into the whole idea of "gambling" and "wagers" but if you really think about it, any person that claims that it is immoral or against their religion to gamble and play games in SWTOR, should really look at their values... murder and mayhem is ok, but lets make a big deal about "fake currency" gambling or game playing... seems kinds of ridiculous. Some even go as far to say, "I only play Jedi/Republic" stating its more wholesome - killing is killing, and the Republic is not that wholesome either. I love the people that come on and say that gambling in SWTOR is like a "gateway" to real gambling.... give me a break - its about choices, if you don't like it, DON'T PARTICPATE! Problem solved. I say bring it on! A more enhanced social outlet in this game, such as games and so forth, would only enhance the game.
  12. I support this and many other ways to have better control over our guilds. Ie: Guild Mail, Better Access to Control and Monitor Guild Bank - More locations to access guild banks, such as ship, planet side, places where you typically find cargo holds; the ability to see beyond two weeks ledger and logs, ability to name a successor, in the event there is a problem so it doesn't default to the wrong player (which has been reported problem in the past - locking rightful guild owners out of their own guilds), ability to assign a co-guildmaster, who can have as much or as little control over the guild bank functions as set by the guildmaster. I also think we should be able to see last log in time/date of guild members to monitor activities and participation. Also, I think guild leaders and designated officer should be allowed to toggle privacy features (set busy, away, do not disturb, etc - this would be helpful for players in general not necessarily just with guild - simple ignore feature is not enough nor is it always the appropriate setting). None of these suggestions are absolute or intended to be considered "set-in-stone" simply some ideas to consider.
  13. YES! YES! YES! It has been said over and over --- PLEASE BW/EA! MAKE IT HAPPEN!
  14. It would sure be nice to have a parachute pack (or a skill, maybe legacy) or hang-glider for emergency jumps/falls or for other use in the game. Surprised we don't already have something like this!
  15. Exactly. Not only does it make sense and please everyone, as it caters to ALL players, which from a marketing point it will establish this game as a revolutionary leader in doing so - which means more money, more long term players and so forth. Other MMOs are claiming they are also headed that direction - so, it would be a loss not to go that route. Ironically, the people that are upset about it, are complaining about things that do not effect them at all - its as if they are complaining that other people are getting what they want as well. Its a win-win situation and it is the way it is going. With other games up-and-coming, also proposing similar plans with more unique options that are also not typically found in previous MMO/MMORPG - the direction that gaming is going is extraordinary and feels as if many of these die-hard players are struggling with the inevitability of such direction (for the same reason you mentioned, I shall not list names of other games here for several reason- games which our company is currently working with as testers) - the reality is, its going that way and regardless - it will happen, and if it doesn't happen here, is surely is going to happen in other games, which will leave SWTOR hard pressed to keep up with this revolution. I am actually looking forward to it, it should bring a full spectrum of gaming that should be fantastic. I love SWTOR, as do our guild members and many of our colleagues and staff - I love mass grouping, raids and all that, but I am also open to embracing what is on the menu to come. Glad to see someone else is aware of things going on...
