No, because it’s easy. If you give an easy option to the general pop, most will use it. But it’s the bad connotations that come with this easy option that makes it game breaking for me. And the argument "don’t use it" is invalid. Obviously I will be forced to use it as the vast majority will be using it. Unless I want to be spamming LFG in gen for hours. I'm not against a group finder. Just make it a same server group finder. Do a cross server PVP group finder, so the PVP folks get what they want which can lead to competitive ranked WZ etc. And let the PVEer have same server group finder, as with X-server, the FP aspect of this game will simmer down to Ninjaing, bad courtesy / manners / etiquette - What ever you want to call it. It degrades the community.

I will unsub if they impliment a cross server FP group finder. For PVP ... Sure, but not PVE. Not the main essence of the game. This will destroy the comunity if implemented. Yours Sincerely, A very disapointed old school MMOer

OP, Remember the name. Ignore him. Tell other like minded people. Ignoring people will prevent them from grouping with you. Its not Ideal i know, but its the closest thing to filtering people who want to roll need for companions and people who roll greed or ask politley if they can need for a companion. Personally i'm with you on this issue.

A troll if ever i saw one... Maybe we can come up with a new name for Trolls? How about Sand People? any suggestions? FYI, if you jawaed once with me, you would never group with me again. Other people would ignore you, which would cause you longer waits for groups etc. but, hey its your choice to be a Jawa. So it does work! Thank you.

Well pointed out! There are alot of thoughtful posts here and i hope the Devs can implement "policing" to the loot system. Or, a thought just came to me... What about an optional tutorial box which would come up and tell you about certain aspects of the game as you encountered them. So when a new player starts his MMO journey and comes across flashpoints or what ever he could read what the loot system is and how its meant to be used. Tricky to do i'm sure but hey... Just a thought.

Howdy, Just got the chance to reply. I see some people saying what about incompetence and other perfectly reasonable "accidents" to do with ninj... Jawaing (I love that term!) Well to be honest i know on forums everything is in black and white, but read between the lines a little. You wouldn't let a Jawa take your item without saying "Hey... Why did you do that?" So i think you have to talk about it within your group too... not run sreaming "JAWAAAAAA" to the forums. But i suppose the bottom line of what i was getting at was the sence of community which we can build within our servers.

Well... We will... Hi guys and girls, For those of you sitting at your computer thinking "What the **** have Ninjas got to do with Star Wars?" let me explain... A Ninja/Loot Jawa is a player who takes loot to which he or she is not entitled. So you could be in a Flashpoint and this really nice weapon drops which is super awesome for you. But... What’s this...? "Random Loot Jawa receives super awesome weapon." So you find yourself thinking... "Well maybe he/she does need it." During the rest of the encounter you notice said Jawa isn't using the weapon. He/she's the right level for the item. He/she can use it. Why isn't... JAWAA! THE GUY OR GIRL IS A JAWA. That is the only reason. Of course we can't say Loot Jawas will be rife in SW:TOR but if they are present and making a nuisance of themselves this is what we, as a community, do to stop them: 1.) Place them on your ignore list. 2.) With the others in the group tell the community who this Jawa is. (More than two sources to confirm he is a Loot Jawa.) 3.) The community in turn adds this Jawa to their ignore list. This stops the Jawa from grouping with them in the future. It won't be too long until this Jawas' server reputation hits rock bottom; he/she can’t group easily and overall will have wasted his/her time levelling their character... This isn't fool proof but it certainly will make Loot Jawas think twice before engaging in their fetish. Most of the older MMO community will already know this, but consider this a gentle reminder.
