  1. The Leveling Event As of October 6th, you can pre-order Shadow of Revan and join in the Class Story Leveling Event. As long as you remain subscribed with an active preorder, you will earn 12x XP from class missions – enough to play through the game all the way to level 55 playing only epic story missions.
  2. I convinced my friend to try The Old Republic.. in free2play. He's been downloading the game at 40-120 kb/s for the past 2 days. What's up with that? --- Is there a different download server for free2play players? EDIT: His max download speeds are 3.8 mb/s, he's got a 30mbps cable connection.
  3. I have two level 50s and a level 48 legacy. The guild I joined a couple of months back plays on a different server than mine. I'm willing to pay to transfer over there!
  4. I had a G700 from Logitech that I shelved for being overused. I was skeptic about Razer products, the ones I previously bought were often breaking after only a few months of usage. I was tempted and purchased a Razer Naga Epic 2012 MMO mouse. My verdict: I quickly forgot about the Logitech G700 after buying a Razer Naga Epic mouse. They share the same size/type of hand grip than the G500. The G700 and Naga Epic are Wireless products. If you NEVER plan on using wireless, go for a Razer Naga not the epic version. They also build special editions, like the Molten special edition.
  5. I haven't played SWTOR since June and now I'm back. Originally on Juyo, I played with Chronicle, In Tenebris and Spiritus Sancti. I'm looking for a solid group composed of active players for 16-man and 8-man content. I can show up to 3 raiding nights a week. I would like to pickup from where I left off, with a guild able to clear Explosive Conflict Hard Mode. Here's what I've done since I stopped playing: -Cleared all the nightmare content in The Secret World before the release of Guild Wars 2. -Geared up a 80 necromancer and 80 elementalist full exotic in Guild Wars 2 and spent many hours in World vs World. I'm bored of GW2 and with the release of free2play, I'm curious to see what's coming up for the old republic. The new raid Terror From Beyond also interests me. Here's what I can offer: -Be there on time -Good raiding skills -French accent Here's what I hate in this game: -PvP but i'm far from being a carebear. I love to pwn noobs. -People who don't show up in time for raids Warning: I will be rusty but don't worry, It won't take long before I'm back in shape. 6. I re-activated my account, last I played was beginning of June. The game still has sound problems.... speeders not making sound, some animations sounds not working, etc. Stop slacking and Fix this!!
  7. And that's where I don't care about what you say because you bring nothing to the table to prove your point. The Old Republic is built on the HERO engine. Of course it has been "extensively modified" to mock your words but what could you release with an unfinished engine? Go back to playing your 9 alts.
  8. Just look at SWTOR shadows and try to keep a straight face. Back in december, i was all EWWW really??????
  9. The reason why is because of the HERO engine. Game developers made a mistake by purchasing an engine that was OLD and UNFINISHED. Now the result is this: Game badly optimized for even the best of PCs. i7-2600k (4.2ghz) evga GTX680 8gb of ram SSD This game has the worst performance out of all the others on my computer: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive beta, Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, GTA IV, Guild Wars 2 beta, Diablo III, The Secret World, FIFA 12, Max Payne 3. And the graphics are just OK, they're not even GOOD, look at the shadows!!
  10. They have broken sound for a long time now and they never fixed it before 1.3 That's weak. I wonder if they corrected the problem. Sound in this game is what's best....
  11. Wow, what a great idea, DELETE THE FLEET FROM THE GAME
  12. Cool and maybe you can turn this into a semi-Dance dance revolution song
  13. Hey there, I would strongly recommend the use of keyboard binds into your gameplay. Key Binding means to associate a skill in your quickbar to a keyboard button. Start by binding a skill to the letter Q. You just need one now, when you feel comfortable using it, try binding E for example. And go like this. On my keyboard, I have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - Q, E, F, G, X, V, Shift + F, Shift + Q, Shift-E to my quickbar, all on different skills. I also have 4 skills binded on my mouse buttons. How to bind keys: Go in options, click on the key bindings tab, go in Quickbar From there, check out the available keys on the right. Find the following buttons in the list: Quickbar 1 Quickbar 2 (bottom quickbar) Quickbar 3 (left quickbar) Quickbar 4 (right quickbar) By binding keys, it will be easier for you to play the game. Remember, bind the first one and get used to it before binding a second one. At some point, you will learn by heart which skill is on which button and you will look less at your quickbars. Enjoy
  14. I can be very pissed and like to argue/offer solutions when something is wrong but I know when to give praise !
