  1. Still looking for raiders with a particular need for tanks and dps (although the more flexible you are on roles/alts, the better!) For healers we have lots of Sorc/Sage healers but could do with a Merc/Commando and/or Op/Scoundrel. We certainly wouldn't refuse more Sorc/Sages, but you may need to rotate with others and/or have other options on your alts. We're always looking for like-mided social players too, if raiding is not your thing - you'll struggle to find a friendlier guild with more helpful people If we sound like your kind of guild, drop by our website (linked in top post) and fill in an application.
  2. Still looking for a couple of people for our progression group. We're close to having a full group, but just falling short most weeks. We are particularly interested in tanks and dps but can make room for a great healer too if there's one out there! We are NOT a hardcore raiding guild, but we have cleared some of the toughest raids in the past through sheer persistence! We're geared for HM at the moment, but would like to get back to doing NiMs in the next few months. We just need to be raiding regularly to gear up. We're always looking for new social members too and do a lot of flashpoints, uprisings and other content. We even have a few avid GSF players too if that's your thing!
  3. Still looking for new recruits We particularly need people for our HM/NiM progression group, which is going to start raiding regularly again in the new year.
  4. We're still recruiting! Particularly looking for tanks and dps for our HM/NiM prgression, although if you're a top notch healer we wouldn't run you away either We've been quite successful in the past, clearing S&V and TfB on Nigthtmare, but we've been one or two people short of a sustainable progression group for a while, and need a few good people to help us out. Also recruiting social members - there's always plenty of flashpoints, and non-Op gropup content going on, so if you're not a raider we want you to
  5. Still looking for people! We especially need people for our Hard Mode progression group.
  6. Hello! <Let Them Eat Cake> & <The Cake is a Lie> are recruiting and looking for players of all types, experience, and ability. We are both a "Social" guild and have a long tradition of raiding, and killing the toughest bosses the game has to offer. We are looking to reinvigorate our progression group after a summer lull, and need a couple of new guild members to come in and help us out. Since 4.0 we have been mainly focused on Hard Modes, but have done many Nightmare Ops in the past and intend to get back to those ASAP. We also do regular story modes. If Ops aren't your thing, then we have plenty of members who prefer solo content, flashpoints and leveling - and you'll always find people are willing to help if you're stuck on a mission. We also offer Social events, such as Speeder Races and Guild Parties (in the past, we've tended to hang out on the Tatooine balloon ride!) We have guilds on both factions - <The Cake is a Lie> is our Republic guild, and <Let Them Eat Cake> is our Imperial side guild. We don't really focus on one over the other, and don't really see them as separate. Both guilds have fully unlocked guild ships, with tonnes of decorations, and plenty of space to add more. If you like what you've read, check out our Website - an application form is waiting for you! http://ltek.enjin.com/ http://ltek.enjin.com/recruitment
  7. Same here. Is it a case of waiting it out, or is there a fix?
  8. It is supposed to be this way, or at least was for the 4 toons I have done this on. Third one is always blank. The third one is whatever you didn't pick for the first two.
  9. I have lost most of mine too. Strangely I still have the Vectron Magnus and Rancor ones, but not the "Instant Winner" one which you get if you win a mount or golden certificate. Those two are the only two achievements I seem to have now from this event Hope this is fixed soon, I had 100% completion including the hidden one for blowing up a machine
  10. The first few I jumped into after 2.0 I had one Basic piece along with the rest 61/63s. Thats a fairly good starting point, but have been with more skilled people able to get by with some rakata 58 level pieces. Once Elite comms start coming, they don't stop! It's all about getting a few pieces of 69 rated gear then the floodgates open with all the extra comms you can then start picking up. As a healer you probably want to be going into the 55HM fps with a minimum of 23-24k HP. But even then I'd happily run with someone with a bit less if they've got the skill to compensate. Especially given most groups have a few well overgeared people there too. The issue you're running into though is probably landing in groups with 3 vastly overgeared people who are looking to glide through....remind them that a little cc (which seems to have been forgotten about already again!) will help you keep up.
  11. Up to the expansion I just used my Lv 50 matrix cube alongside whatever 'Boundless Ages' I had (the Dread Guard one by the time 2.0 came in). I know it wasn't best in slot, but I like the Strength gain it gave and liked using it as it took some effort to get. Now at Lv 55 it doesn't make much sense to keep using it. I've got enough Basic comms to afford an Arkanian relic - so do I just replace the Dread Guard Boundless Ages with the new Arkanian version (not much of an upgrade to be honest)? Or do I get one of those 'additional damage' ones to replace my Matrix cube first? [Arkanian Relic of Dark Radiance] [Arkanian Relic of the Cerulean Nova] [Arkanian Relic of the Kinetic Tempest] Or something else entirely that I'm not even considering?
  12. Please raise the cap above 500. We have a lot of members with multiple alts, and new recruitment is therefore dependant on people not having too many alts....seems couter-productive to me, as surely BioWare want us to have as many as possible to maximise their own profits
  13. Thanks for the replies, totally alleviates the concern I had. The set bonus for Sentinel are: 2pc: Reduces the rage cost of Vicious Throw or Dispatch by 1. 4pc: Reduces the cooldown of Frenzy or Valorous Call by 15 seconds. I can do without both to be honest. The aesthetics are a large part of this game, so happy I get to continue with the orange gear
  14. How feasible is it to rip mods out of end game gear and use it in the orange gear I have been levelling in? I just hit 50 with my Sentinel yesterday and I've picked up the Tionese gear from fleet using my 99 comms, but I hate the look of it. Plus it was a fair bit of time and effort to aquire the look I wanted with my orange gear, and I really don't want to have to give it up. What I really want to know is if I rip the mods out of this gear what do I really lose, other than the set bonus? The set bonus itself doesn't appear particularly important, but maybe I'm missing the point - is it really that beneficial? Also, does anything change when you start bringing Columi and Rakata into the equation? I don't mind making things slightly more difficult for myself by not using the very best gear set-up available to me. But I'm in an active guild and don't really want to be hampering the group's chances on FPs and Operations if I can help it. Or even worse, be denied the chance to do some end-game stuff if I stick with the oranges, because it's simply not good enough. Swapping the mods back and forth depending on the situation isn't an option, way too expensive to do that!
