  1. Well, I was finally able to get Kaliyo to do the Death Marks quest. You currently have to choose Dark Side choices. It was the only way for me to progress and finish this companion quest. Glad that mess is over with. I'll stick to SCORPIO!
  2. You have given me the best suggestion yet! I have only picked light side choices for every quest in the game. I am willing to go dark side for 1 series just to continue her companion line. Getting SCORPIO was a since compared to this nonsense (currently level 44). Here is hoping that this is the last time I have to reset this quest.
  3. I too have all sorts of issue's with the Death Marks companion quest on Nar Shaddaa. It's frustrating- submitting a ticket gave a canned response. No combination of leaving the planet, coming back, abandoning the quest, use the captains chair, using the galaxy map, etc has worked. Every time I enter the Casio, nothing progresses and I end up running around the floor in a circle. My next decision is to do all the planet quests and see if it progresses then. I don't see how they would be related, but you never know. My faction with Kaliyo is over 7000 and I am currently level 40 with Ensign Temple unlocked.
  4. I didn't spoil seeing it during the weekend beta tests I participated in, but I must say that it is stunning! Some of my guild mates on Jung Ma are off this weekend so I'm doing ship missions to pass the time. We stopped on Dromund Kaas and I enjoy questing with everyone. I did manage to get the social II Pilot's helmet today (70 medals). I think I will go for the chest piece next! Really- the ship makes the class! -Mordious, of Jung Ma
  5. I play an operative Medic, currently level 12. What amazes me is that people forget about two CC abilities that make melee attacking much easier. Debilitate and Flashbang are your friends! If something can't fight back it's pretty easy to backstab.
  6. The point for me at least was going to the Imperial fleet, obtaining the crew skill quest, talking to all the crew trainers, selecting 1 craft and two gathering (have to pick a craft to finish the quest) and getting 3 free levels just from doing that. Go back to starter planet and begin your story at level 4. Then again I also did all the Hutta starting quests grouped with a bounty hunter. We got social points for the planet quests and got to see each others class quests. With a little planning you can finish the starter planet with around 240 social points before going to Black Talon.
  7. You don't need a companion to train crew skills. The gathering skills can be done without a companion. Take bioanalysis, kill creatures that it will let you scan (easier on Korriban) and you can skill it up without a companion. There are lizards on Hutta you can scan as well. Only crafting / mission skills take a companion. And yes, you get your companion from the story line. I've played through the starting area on Hutta many times- it won't take me long to unlock the first companion (level 5 or 6). Again, this is just my plan for tonight during early release time.
  8. Should be in as soon as I get off work. Priorities will be traveling at lvl 1 to the Imperial Fleet, talking to the crew skill folks, selecting 3 crew skills (all gathering), obtaining my companion, and getting the holocrons from both starting planets. I hope to get to run the first Flashpoint a time or two, but that might be pushing it as I still have to work tomorrow. It's nice to be making my Medic for real finally .
  9. Still going Operative Medic. I love the Agent ship and I look forward to healing in flashpoints and operations!
