I don't want spoilers, but since I only have a level 60 Sith Marauder, I was trying to decide between another Empire character or a Republic character for my free 60. If the story is different for Empire and Republic, then I will create a Republic class. Thanks.

Yeah, I was trying to save my comms until 60 to get a full set of gear. Maybe I will hit the GTN to fill in the gaps. Some of my gear is item level 108 that did not get replaced so may be painful if I don't replace them before starting SoR quests. Thanks.

Thanks. I think I messed up. I noticed on one of the later solo flashpoints after I finished that there was a small notice (claim box) in the top right, which I clicked and got two orange pieces. i think I finished earlier flashpoints and did not notice or click the window in the top right. Do they go somewhere where I can re-claim them or are they lost in nether-space forever? Thanks for the help.

Hello - This is my first character I am trying to get to max level. I am currently level 57 and just finished the Forged Alliances solo flashpoints (all 4). I had never done them before and did all four solo with the super robot. Now I am about to start the SoR content. In reading up on how to gear, several guides stated that you get a full set of 162 gear after finishing all of Forged Alliances. However, that is not what I experienced. I finished the last flashpoint today and noticed I got some orange adaptive pieces and some purple pieces during the four Flashpoints, but much of it overlapped and left key slots out. For example, I did not get any 162 pieces for head, chest or legs! I did get boots, waist and gloves, plus both weapons. I also noticed that I got multiple 162 pieces for boots and gloves (1 purple and 1 orange for each). Is this intended? It seems like only a half set of gear unless I did something wrong. Curious if this was me, a bug or intended (and the guides are not accurate when they say "full set of 162 gear"). Thanks.
