  1. Not a huge deal but still a well needed change due to guard range. Pressure sin comps won't be as effective against an equally skill hard swap comps. I don't know if you have tested lacerate spam on the PTS to keep the dot spread up, but in my own tests force management is a lot tighter, if not impossible if you just try to spam. A well timed lacerate will be necessary to make the most use of the dot spread. Hopefully this will weed out a lot of the bad sins that rerolled 6 months ago
  2. Over 6 months we've seen the insanity that is the sin/shadow dot spread. It can be beaten but it was mostly OP as ****. GG dot spreaders time to reroll :D http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=818449
  3. Ammut you're a *********** letdown you gaylord
  4. Got called a hacker for hitting a shadow with a 21k Ambush. Duh don't yolo charge me with no DCD's up in pve gear lol
  5. For regs we held the off node with double MM + tank and healer for 90% of the match. If you can get 2 MM snipers to coordinate in a wz their wrecking power is insane, hence why they are the favored hard swap comp atm in ranked. You've obviously gone up against bad snipers. Good snipers will wait out your Deflection, blow CD's etc but not use hunker down until they are ready to line up their burst. Then well you're in light armor with no real way to avoid white damage unless you stealth out. I've caught so many sins with their pants down thinking I was an easy kill
  6. Damn beat me too it. As above really, 'Wiz' is a terrible player and wouldn't know how to play and Op to save himself. There are only a handful of Op/Scoundrels that I would consider in the realm of greatness. You'll know them when you see them because they make an impact on the entire game. There is a huge barrier between the mediocre and the great when it comes to this class
  7. "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" That is an age old idiom that will do you a lot of good OP. They are making PvP changes! 'Oh i didn't get what i wanted /QQ' Seriously? Its not fixing the balance problems but at least its opening the gates for PvP to function better as a whole. As for the '10 minute fix' are you a programmer? Did you personally write the combat algorithms that define SWTOR's combat system? Did you write the class coding algorithms that set class ability and function? If you answered no to the above questions please rethink your 'it takes 10 minutes to fix' comment. It doesn't take 10 minutes to find bugs and software errors. It doesn't take 10 minutes to find the class coding and adjust the ability damage/output. It takes a lot longer than that. So please, sit down, stop crying like a child that had their toys taken off them and deal with the fact that finally something is getting done.
  8. As an IO merc if i'm left alone to get my ramp up off then god help you. Its burst is great but only if you keep it to a strict opening rotation and it relies heavily on supercharged burn which hits like a truck. All things going your way you can kill most classes insanely quick, however if you get interrupted you turn to garbage real quick
  9. Over the last year and a half we've seen most of the pvp community pack up and leave due to the failings of Bioware. Most pvpers feel the same way and know that there is zero class balance at the present time and hoping for it to be fixed, well pissing in the wind would be a better option tbh. As for this MMO shutting down, it won't happen as they are still earning enough money off the remaining subs and the Cartel market to make a profit. The only way this game will get any better is if another gaming company buys the rights to SWTOR and does a FFXIV level rebuild including creating a new game engine, which will take months if not a year.
  10. Leave Schrödinger's cat out of this.
  11. One thing that is sorely lacking during the leveling process is earpieces and implants as far as I've seen there is still a market for these
  12. I play on a mid range gaming laptop, with a mediocre connection from Australia and the Op roll bugs for me maybe once every fifty times. So yes it is you and whatever you are playing on
  13. For ranked Emersion is a must imo. Mobility is king for sorcs, especially madness FYI these are the talents i take: Skillful - Sith defiance, Sap strength and Tempest mastery Masterful - Emersion and backlash Heroic - Force mobility. The second choice is a bit of personal preference but i'm a fan of Corrupted barrier
  14. Go read the WoW patch notes and get back to me. Just buffed ferals and frost DKs...
  15. Resist the damage but not the hindered effect
