I am thinking of making a shadow dps for operations and some pvp. Can anyone tell my how strong you feel in pvp. Also how does the dps feel when doing operations. I currently have a vanguard and a commando and thought I would swing a glow stick around for some different fun. Thanks for the input.

Do the dailys on besavis and ilum you can get epic mods which then you put into orange gear till you get some good epics through pvp, hardmodes and or raids. Spend your badges you get from doing dailys on nakada earpiece before anything else. Try to pug the eternity vault the normal setting is actually easier than hardmodes. By the way try to get a group to do the H2 and H4 dailys they give you the mods so you can have some pretty decient gear in 5 days and your ear peice. Good luck.

With money you get you should be able to buy the modifiable gear if you do not have enough easily. Also watch some movies of eternity vault and get your butt in there some of those bosses are easier than the hardmode flash points, actually I think they are a lot easier or maybe less buggy.

I used your spec last night in nightmare mode Eternity Vault and I think I did alright seeing we cleared it except for last boss. I think I need to get some better gear seeing that I only did it once before on 16 man normal so I do not have the best gear yet. We went on to do Karagga's palace and got the fourth boss down before we quit for the night. I was wondering about the numbers you are seeing while dpsing or how you are judging that you are doing a good job. I understand that some people say bosses are dying so do not worry about it, but I do not like to be carried also.

@ Hirokinae: Just to make sure you are using plasma cell. correct ? I got drafted to go dps for our guild in nightmare modes. I normally tank but there are currently to many tanks in the guild. I was wondering if you could give me a priority list to go by or a make sure to do list, I know you said the spec is rather ammo intensive. @ Bolvar: I am going to give your spec a try for pvp. Are you running ion cell? Also your you using dps or tank gear in this spec.

My guild asked me to DPS in our raids instead of tanking because there is so many tanks in our guild. The question that I put the community is what do you guys think is better tactics or assault and what would be the best rotation for the spec. I ran 16 man eternity vault last night, as tactics and I just didn't feel powerful (if you know what I mean). I'm looking for advise to make sure I'm doing the best I can. I currently have a mixture of champion, columi gear and a few pieces of rakata gear. Thanks for the advise.

I have to run tactics spec for raiding because only one tank is needed. I just wanted to ask before I buy the mods. I assume that crit and power are the way to go. If not please correct me and also is there any specific numbers I should be shooting for? Also what cell should I be using?

Biochem. At endgame it is the best thing to have. You cannot craft armor better than drops as of yet.

I have been leveling and pvping shield spec and was wondering what the difference is with tactics spec. As in survivability dps and such. I almost have no down time leveling with healing companion but was wondering with the increased output of dps with tactics spec, so mobs die faster would the survivability decrease a lot or just a little. Also how is tactics in pvp, it takes a lot to bring me down pvping in shield spec, does tactics specs die a lot faster? Thanks for the responses.
