Sunday night, yeah. If we don't manage it, we try to get a 2nd night of raids going but people in the guild seem to have lost interest, so it is difficult.

I find it extremely funny the lack of people defending the game as most people know it has been a complete letdown. Prior to the game being launched, there was a point of discussion on who the game would cater more towards, PVPer, PVEers or RPers/story fans. PVP - is on the borderline of not working, it is clunky and doesn't perform well for a large section of the community with older PCs PVE - has very little content, 10 bosses that are PUGable in normal and hard mode. A few world bosses who are always camped and some flashpoints that are pointless after you've done a couple of raids. RP/Story - aside from a story quest, that ends at 50, the game has nothing new to offer to anyone, it is still the same old kill 10 rats, collect 5 items. The fact that a lot of people are going back to WOW, a 7 or 8 year old game speaks volumes of a company that know how to maintain interest and it really is a tell tale sign of a game failing when numbers are visably dropping after just 2 months. Going back to WOW, the first time you levelled through the game felt epic, you felt yourself grow in power, the areas were all great. SWTOR didn't have that feel at all, Dromund Kaas the 2nd zone was painfully boring and after that it got worse, with the exception of Nar Shadaa and Correllia, which were nice. I think a lot of people are looking for that next big game and a lot of us hoped it would be SWTOR, it seems some still hold on to that hope, i think for me personally, i'll keep the subscription going simply to do the 1 guild run a week we manage but i'll play WOW casually, using the raid/dungeon finders, until Diablo 3 comes out.

Started a daily then decided that because i'm fully columi geared up that it was pointless so i quit. Stood around in Imp Fleet and trolled general chat for a bit. Had a look at when the rest of my guild were last online and decided to log off and return for raid next week as we've done all the content we can. I then re-subbed WOW, downloaded the patch, got a new set of addons (oh addons how i've missed you) and did one of the new raids on there, it was like a breath of fresh air, particularly as i'd bought a new PC for SWTOR, so it looked sweet.

Set bonuses are a bit weak tbf.

Took 14 days for them to return an item to me but they did eventually. Have you followed the correct procedure? With regards to the rest of your post, is there a colour code going on, you seem to have used red for 2 of your points, is this a level of your rage with this particular point? Are you aware that some of the points you have made will be addressed in just a few weeks with content patch 1.2? This feels like a rage post by a child with some pretty colours splashed over it and very little thought behind the actual content. Anyway, cya (if your quitting, i got bored halfway through and stopped reading as i suspected it would end with the standard unhappy ending of "i'm quitting")

Lack of depth and long term value. Suggestions and ideas required!

You mention that end-game is just a farm for gear and that it won't maintain attention, i'd actually disagree with that if that is the case. WOW is essentially that, you farm loot which allows you to progress to the next phase of farming loot. That has held peoples attention for 7 years now. Diablo 2 was the same, as will Diablo 3 be when (or if) it ever comes out. Farming gear, is the cornerstone of MMO players who want to focus on PVE, it just needs to be done in a way that makes the player feel rewarded. Personally, i think where SWTOR possibly goes wrong is in the difficulty, everything seems too easy. Hard Modes aren't hard, Operations aren't hard and obtaining loot isn't really hard either, getting a full set of good epic gear that would make you feel competitive in end game WOW (sorry for using this as an example) was a chore that sometimes took weeks or months, on SWTOR you can farm HMs for a week and you'll likely have 5/5 bonus on the middle set of PVE armour currently available along with most other 136 rating loot, furthermore, it most of it can be customised to the stats you prefer. -
Another idiotic decision by Bioware. A weekend patch and downtime is unheard of in any major MMO. When i cancelled my sub the other day, i got a survey and my biggest criticsm was how out of touch Bioware and the CS seem to be with the community. Unbelievable Jeff!

If you aren't 50 by now, you'll struggle in PVP as lots of players are running round in full PVP gear already and you won't even scratch them without comparible items.

It is no wonder really. Customer Service is horrible. The game has been released with so many game breaking bugs that do actually spoil it and it seems that you have to wait for at least 3 days for a response from GMs on anything and the responses are always copy/paste jobs and your ticket doesn't look like its been read. The performance of the game for a lot of people is simply terrible, reasonable spec PCs are struggling with basic things such as warzones and flashpoints, i haven't done an operation yet but i'm not looking forward to it. The testing hasn't been very thorough, hard mode flashpoints seem to have been missed as there are bugs that are preventing completion of certainly 1 so far that i've tried. But its ok, they fixed the most important bug, you can now emote whilst travelling... The game was promoted on the back of something new, complete voice over, lets face it though, voice over is fairly insignificant and aside from the main story was very quickly skipped, it looks like this voice over has taken priority over a lot of other parts of the game and it shows. Personally, i think the game was released 6 months too early and is still in a beta state. With Diablo 3 coming up fairly soon, i can see SWTOR going the same way as Warhammer/AOC/Aion and other games with great potential that failed to deliver. Sad really as i was a fanboy.

Game suddenly unplayable, FPS is terrible on a decent rig.

I've noticed the same, i was fine yesterday but today it has become almost unplayable. Again, i don't have a top of the range PC (quad core 2.5mhz, Ati 4850 graphics cards, 8gb RAM). I've also noticed little graphical bugs since yesterday, particularly when clicking the action bar the icons will almost pixelate. This isn't a PC problem (or its very likely not to be) as the game was working fine yesterday.
