  1. It's funny, I'm sort of juggling between Area 52 (Horde) raiding and SWTOR as well. And I've sort of taken the same stance on WoW as you have (not really planning to get too further into it until Legion). I'm almost through KotFE on my 3rd imp character. The idea of this group sounds exciting, especially since I relate very well to you all, but it seems like it'd be challenging to make the guild feel alive, let alone to let it thrive with many members giving a split focus in terms of effort. What sorts of things are you doing to combat this? (Also I'm not very active on these forums so if you'd like to chat in-game, the character I'm currently playing the most is E'ridu (65 sorc).)
  2. We've recently had a smaller guild join us and are in talks with a few others. Joining this guild with your own smaller guild or on your own provides access to not just one guild's events but to many as we gain more and more guilds in the alliance. It also makes filling spots for Ops or other fun events a cinch. You keep your autonomy and leadership and gain access to resources and forge stronger friendships with people in the game! What's to lose?
  3. I joined this group last night and Dethla was friendly and opened to my questions. Very much looking forward to growing with them!

  5. I did this tonight with an ops group of 6 people. Only 3 need the MGGS or w/e it's called. Activate the bridge and whatnot, then have 5 people go to panels A, B, C, D (needs grapple), and E (needs grapple). Have the one at E be a sage, if possible. The sixth (definitely a sage in this strategy. This person needs the MGGS) should grapple to 3, then 5. Sage at E grapples to 3. Sage at 3 "rescues" people. Sage at 5 rescues those at 3. We were lucky enough to get to point 1 within 2 minutes. All in all, it took us about an hour since the grapplers kept dying due to bugs. Hope this helps!
  6. How did you possibly cleanse it? I'm a sage too. Restoration only works on mental and Force effects. The grenade is neither. That's the only cleansing spell I've seen in my abilities. I even tried using it in the fight and it didn't work for me. You must have encountered a pretty nice bug.
  7. In response to the whining about the general, he's actually kind of easy when you understand what needs to be done. The fight is centered around heals completely. To start the fight, the turrets need to die asap. He chucks a fire grenade at random times at random people. Healer needs to heal that person through the DoT or it's gg. Droids spawn. Tank and 1 DPS should each take 2 bots, 2nd dps can wham on boss. (If your dps is kind of low, have all three take bots.) A debuff will activate while the droids are up where people take moe dmg than normal. The bots will target these people. Healer needs to keep them up. If any are low when grenade is thrown next...well, that sucks. Bots have to die before he's done reloading his gun. He enrages or something at the end. Again, healer has to be on their toes. Good luck everyone. It was the best feeling in the world when my group finally downed him after like 15 tries.
