  1. Every mmo launch, major patch or expansion has for the most part = beta for the first couple of weeks.
  2. I love early access, thanks for beta testing the bugs and glitches that are common with every single mmo for the past 25 or so years. Nothing would have changed, if the game just released to everyone last week. Other then a great many more people would have wasted money on skills.
  3. 1: a healer, when possible, should contribute dps (at least in every other MMO I have ever played) I don't 100% agree with this, sure if everyone out gears the content. I would often AoE trash, or throw in some dps on a boss. And for myself, this was done out of sheer boredom. But again it depends, on the rest of the party being geared. I would never go into a new cycle of content like we have now, and start dps'ing. If you can't clear the content without you dps'ing, I think I would leave the group and find a new one. Unless you could have healed through the adds on you, I do think you did the right thing in this instance. Also if they were weak mobs, the dps should have killed them off first.
  4. Trust me people that know how to play, also got lazy with smashing through the old content with OP geared tanks and healers. Seen it countless times, over many a mmo. I can remember Cata WoW when they "adjusted" healing. And you had to omg CC and interupt mobs. I saw countless "pro" players, who would pull aggro, break cc and stand in fire. We even had a hunter throw up a server first title, and tell us we all sucked and needed to l2p. When he was called out, by everyone in the pug group.
  5. JMD never was the problem, quick ignore fixed that. It was the countless others that replied to him, and others that wanted to be him.
  6. They tend to die out pretty quickly.
  7. I had a match the other day, that was Gunship heavy, and they dominated, Not only did they keep the Nodes clear. But no ship could get close to them, as they covered each other also. And even if you managed to kill one, you still have 2 others to cover the node while the other runs back. This was the only time I really ever had an issue with Gunships, as I only play scout and love to hunt them down. Other then that, I had a gunship boost away from me. And was able to boost longer and farther then me, but I assume that match making isn't in game yet. And I was dealing with a heavily geared ship.
  8. I have always thought this should have been in game as a legacy perk since release. I also have no doubt in my mind we will see this in the future, Sadly I also see it having nothing to do with legacy. And instead be tied into the CM, maybe even something like a certificate that would drop from the cartel packs. The certificate would unlock a certain ability. So in Cartel Pack (A) it might have a chance for a certificate to unlock around 2-4 different abilities, say force lightning / tele thrower, flame thrower / pulse cannon etc. Then in Cartel Pack (B) they would add a few more unlocks, Cartel Pack © a few more etc. I can even see this for weapon unlocks, it's not like it would be ground breaking. Many NPC out in the game world already have this ability,
  9. Milkshake Legacy, Had strawberry, chocolate, vanilla etc. Server mergers made that a legacy name I never use now.
  10. Only one I really noticed was from class story for BH on tatooine, sorry its been awhile. But the girl is voiced by Nika Futterman, who also did the voice for asajj ventress in the clone wars animated. Her character on tat looks just like the clone wars asajj.
  11. It will just come on, no downtime. At least that's what happened last time.
  12. I tend to agree, most of the people I know in game. Don't spend any RL cash on the CM, however I know a couple of guys that have blown tons of cash on the packs. I wouldn't doubt one of them has spent upwards of a thousand dollars on this stuff. I would never spend money on the CM, same way I would never over spend for cloths or anything for that matter. But I also don't care how other people spend their life or money, if it makes someone happy go for it.
  13. My first 50, Which I started with head start, in December of 2011. Hit level 50 after only running a few quests on Voss, I also skipped a good bit of tatooine. Not to mention ALL of the planet quests are a "cakewalk", unless you tried soloing heroic 2 and 4's. Which on my tank spec shadow were also a "cakewalk".
  14. This is such a silly argument, that is used in every single MMO when people ask for the option to switch their class. If someone sucks at their class now after 55 levels, letting them switch AC isn't going to make one bit of difference. And people that know how to play their class now, would take the time to learn a new AC. Which takes all of 10 mins to look up info online, or sitting next to a target dummy and practicing it's not rocket science. And for the record I could care less about switching AC, been playing since beta. At this point I have just about every single AC, not to mention Bioware will charge CC for a switch, something I wont pay real life cash for.
  15. 1) Ultima Online (My first mmo, started playing back in 1997) 2) WoW (No matter what people say, great content and game play) 3) EQ (Loved the world, and the difficulty) 4) SWG (Was fun for the most part, the space expansion was amazing) 5) Warhammer (I know it was a flop, but I still love the warhammer universe. And the goblin shaman and squig herder classes were just epic)
