  1. 1. How do you think your Sorcerer spec is perceived by other classes? A lot of people thought we were overpowered due to having access to so much CC even tho its mainly a survival technique rather than making us unstoppable killing machines like some suggest. 2. How do you perceive your own spec? We have a lot of utility, but take a lot of damage rather quickly if Static Barrier isn't up we're prettymuch just dead. Which I don't like, I guess we can't have everything tho.
  2. generic "I don't know how to respond to your points" response.
  3. Yes, it is true. Bioware said from the beginning Sorcerers would be the most versatile class. A sorcerer being top on damage doesn't mean anything. The damage is 95% chain lightning and dots. Not to mention the sample size is extremely limited, as is the overall skill of the group. Listing off abilities they have that aren't useless in PvP doesn't prove anything. Every class has useful abilities. Sorcerers might have a couple more (if you talent into them, which most classes can ALSO do), since they were designed to be more versatile. Sorcerers grabbing all of the utility talents aren't the same ones doing crazy damage. The opposite of that is also true. (grabbing damage talents=Less utility talents).
  4. You're being so ridiculously hyperbolic it's not even funny. Listing off every useful ability they have for PvP means jack ****. Every class would have close to the same number of useful abilities. Some are better at some things than others. It's quality versus Quantity, and you're arguing quantity is better. The Sorcerers that are doing a lot of damage aren't spec'd into the 0/20/21 tree that has all of the utility. Most of sorc damage comes from dots and free chain lightning procs. The dots can be dispelled, as far as I've seen, every class has talents reducing aoe and periodic damage. Of course people would rather complain than use these talents since they're "bad", and theyll keep dying to sorcs (aoe and dots) and come on the forums and complain.
  5. They were designed to be the most versatile class in the game. Some classes are awesome at 1 thing and bad at another., Sorcerers are mediocre at everything, and have extremely limited survivability.
  6. You can't 3 shot people anymore and it's a problem? Welcome to being every other class.
  7. I got credit for all my kills earlier this morning. It's not game-wide.
  8. I got credit for all my kills earlier this morning. It's not game-wide.
  9. I play a sorcerer and in no way feel weaker than any other class at 50. I like how you only mention "burst" damage. It's a dot based class (channeling force lightning might as well be a dot), sweet logic.
  10. : ( I liked going there every few days and picking up 60 Comm's and 8k credits. Oh well, this probably should have happened.
  11. So stop pvping I guess. You think people would stop targeting a healer just because they can't "mark" you? Are you that naive? Focusing healers isn't some sort of new strategy that arose when marks were implemented.
  12. The damage would be relative to the level. You deal more damage at higher levels, but you also take less damage. Look how much difference there is in damage from ability A at level 20 and then look at the next rank, it's like 10-15 extra damage.
  13. It might take 2 weeks to grind bg's (even 4 days a week for 4-6 hours a night), turning in your dailies and weeklies. It's definitely not difficult. Especially with the buff to bags coming soon.
  14. Not sure what you're complaining about other than the color of items. LFR in wow isn't good gear, it might be purple, but it's vastly inferior to hard-mode level items (which you actually have to work for). The sense of entitelment only has to do with one thing...the color purple. The items could have the exact same stats and level, but if they were green or blue, people would absolutely raise hell complaining about "nerfed gear" even tho it's exactly the same. That's how stupid the general community is.
  15. I've hit over 400k, but the match wasn't over as quick as usual, and they decided to stand next to each other and allow Death Field and free chain lightning procs to eat them alive while dots ticking on all of them. This was at a pretty low exp level (less than 250 at the time, I'm well over 400 now). Having said that, damage alone doesn't win war zone's. Sure I had like 50 kills too, which help to an extent, but looking at damage alone won't tell you a whole lot. I definitely don't think 500k damage is unheard of. Most MVP votes either go to "that guy" who was a product of the winning team going like 45 and 1, or the healer that did like 400k healing and was the reason his team won. For reference: I'm using the 13/28 spec which is a high damage output spec, however I took a few extra pvp utility talents over some of the filler talents that most people take.
