You absolutelty can't compare WoW pvp to Swtor pvp.WoW pvp athough has it's own balance issues with classes is pretty much perfect when it comes to game mechanics, fluidness and timing of spells an such.Swtor pvp suffers from alot of coding,lag issues and that god awful rubber banding.Also I notice that swtor discourages wpvp even on pvp servers (except Illum of course).Now I wouldn't say Swtor pvp is particularly bad but unless you rolled certain classes it can be very frustrating.

Totally agree with the op, it's funny but sad because it's true.Instead I play my sniper and laugh at most classes that try to oppose me.

I'm not sure if this was talked about but I see this new assassin ability getting abused in huttball.Stealth to the endzone drop your port aoe thing and once you get the ball its gg!

I don't understand why there so hesitant to giving lightning the adequate burst it needs.

I was hoping they would finally make lightning more bursty (what it rightfully should be).Madness is alright but lightning is more my style ,it's kind of disappointing to hear but it's only the ptr so im trying to stay optimistic here !!

So I have read the patch notes and I see that BW has finally upped lightnings damage some what.So my question is ; is it enough to make lightning finally viable for pvp??

I gave up on the game,not only because sorcs are in a bad place ,but pvp is in a bad place in general.Too many bugs an such.Hope they fix one or the other though.Got my sniper up to level an although its ridiculous how much damage she puts out it's still not as fun as my sorc

If I could change anything about this game (other than class imbalance)It would be world pvp on PVP SERVERS.Now Im not talking about Illum,or Tatooine ,i'm talking about being able to attack each factions main base,like fleet an such.I think it would create some pretty epic battles!What are your thoughts?

In all honesty our dps trees are kinda weak especially lightning thats by far the worst tree for pvp.

Point blank madness specs dots should hit harder,and lightnings lightning spells should hit harder.

What OP fails to realize is f2p is whats currently saving this game.Without it youll have longer que pops for pvp and pvp.No matter what you will always have derps in wzs.

I agree madness itself is fine,maybe a little tweaking here an there but over all I feel the spec is fine....But for people that don't really like the madness spec,thats the problem.I mained a shadow priest in wow so considering the sorcs playstyle is very similar i have grown fond of the class.I feel we can pretty much all agree though from a pvp stand point lightning tree needs some serious help.Lightning spec lacks adequate defensive capabilities and burst.An for the people that feel dps sorcs should compensate for there heals thats absolute crap.My heals honestly make no difference in a wz.I would gladly give up my heals for better damage or defence.

Yea I can pretty much consistantly get top damage also but thats all aoe damage ,and we all know aoe dps doesn't kill things.Our single target lacks severly.I personally prefer lightning over madness, but lightning itself is complete garbage.So now im stuck going hybrid.

1-49 Sorc dps pvp is fine ,end game pvp now that's a diff story.
