  1. I will be really annoyed if BW start allowing AC respecing. I've got several characters with the same class but different ACs. I'm already pushed to my limit with this game, allowing this would push me overboard and off the SWTOR ship for good.
  2. To avoid people stealing your account, you could transfer ownership of the account to a new email address whilst logged in as the owner. Just have the process require a reentry of the password and Bioware will not be liable at all for any damage as it would be the account owners fault for leaving his/her password exposed.
  3. It's like trading in your old games when you're done with them. I'm sure lots of game companies are now quite annoyed, but they make enough money so I'm not too bothered about them losing some of it.
  4. Why don't forum mods merge threads together instead of closing them? It would make lots of thread creators who get their thread closed feel less like they've just been ignored by Bioware. It's a bit more complicated than just checking a box to close the thread, but the forum moderation ability exists within vBulletin.
  5. What about new class quests in the game after expansions and patches? Some class quests can't just be started at level 50 onwards, as you will have contacts and allies who will be acting like your friends which will make no sense if you never completed the original content.
  6. Bioware have already started banning people for hacking. I do remember reading that the SWTOR anti-cheat software was not enabled and that people could really do whatever they wanted although this has never been confirmed. It's very easy to manipulate the game, especially the parts which are processed client side however the servers could detect things like this and automatically kick and ban players... unfortunately Bioware has either chosen not to hire programmers who know enough about security or else have just chosen to leave the security part out of the game.
  7. I would too like this, however I see two main problems: Development: This would be far too difficult to implement, with class stories and abilities etc. It would take at least a year (maybe more depending on the dev's skills) to analyze, design and implement a system to achieve this. Players going mad: It would completely ruin the whole concept of this game if players were on both factions five times a day. Defection would need to be a one time event to stop the game getting out of control.
  8. I think it would be much more fun (and realistic) to have my companion ride alongside me in a mount. It feels like my companion is a pokemon who just goes into a little ball to be put into my pocket whilst I travel and then comes back out when I arrive at my destination. Would also be nice to see larger mounts suitable for holding friends and their companions, or even a group!
  9. I've been quite happy with the game graphics actually, and I'm normally hard to please. I would like to see some things changed of course, however for the most part I'm quite happy with the graphic quality. I am running everything on maximum settings though, it makes a huge difference.
  10. I was extremely angry at Bioware for all the maintenance they were doing, however I would be happier getting assurances that everything is now working fine and that there will be no more emergency maintenance 3 or 4 times a week. I don't care about getting free time, as long as the time I paid for allows me access to the game.
  11. Can someone just clarify this for me please... I already transferred all my characters to a destination server. Does this mean I'll get the rewards even though I transferred weeks ago?
  12. I think at level 50, players should be given the ability to change their companions. There are some companions on my main that I really do not like, and as a Darth, I would be quite happy to flush them out the airlock because they just irritate me so I wish I didn't have to tolerate them. Maybe a system where you could evict, kill or have your companions arrested would be good and then you get a holo call from Mr/Mrs X saying that there are some people who have expressed interests in joining your team. I understand the whole companion story lines etc etc but I would like to see a system where we (the players) can decide what companions we have and which companions should be kicked out.
  13. Haha! That's a brilliant way to describe how he runs. Definitely not very Jedi like. I'll just play Smuggler instead
  14. So I made a new character today, a Jedi Knight. After a few minutes I found myself running with my weapon out and I think he looked really stupid, needing two hands to hold a lightsaber. I already have a Sith Assassin, Sith Juggernaut and a Jedi Sage and have never had a problem before but I decided to delete the toon and make a Smuggler instead. Does anyone else think the Jedi Knights running animation is a little stupid? I would prefer him to run the way Obi-Wan Kenobi runs as he tries to catch up to Qui-Gon and Darth Maul. He's running quite fast and holding the lightsaber in one hand. It looks much more smooth and doesn't look as though he's struggling to carry the lightsaber.
