  1. I have noticed there is a LOT of this in this game, sadly... Yes, it is pretty annoying, but it's also how they keep the game running since we don't have to pay for new expansions and some other features. As for the OP's post, most are obtainable through the Cartel Market and Collections. There are some that are special rewards (boss drops, pvp rankings, etc) that are single character only, though.
  2. 100% agree for both character screen and companions. And I wish it'd go back to the old way where we could also summon companions from the crewskills window. Having to scroll through 892 companions to find one is annoying.
  3. This is just *1* reason we need to be able to change our 2nd style. (And I 100% agree. I didn't really understand it, either.) There are other reasons, though. One is that I know some people who chose one and then realized a different style would be better or more fun. Another bummer is that when balance and mechanics changes come, that 2nd style might no longer be fun or good, but we're still cornholed into it. So dumb. So dumb...
  4. I was just trying this on my mercenary. 11 deaths, and that was with the outer ring trick. This really needs to get fixed, even if it means gimping the fight by disabling the ability that is bugged until the glitch is fixed.
  5. The good: 1. More options for playing! We go from 3 to 6 ways to play a character. The return of talent trees is refreshing...ish. More to follow in subsequent sections. 2. More stuff to do, even if there's not much of it yet. The bad: 1. Combat Styles, while a good idea, was HORRIBLY implemented. - If you pick the wrong 2nd combat style for some reason (like I accidentally did on my main), there's no fixing it, which is a terrible idea. There needs to be a way to fix this, even if it's a 1-time deal for people who, for whatever reason, picked the wrong 2nd style. 2, resetting combat styles - Switching combat styles completely screws up action bars. There is no easy way (at least that I've found) to counteract this. Loadouts does not save the bars. Switching combat styles takes way too long to redo action bars *every single freaking time*. Bars need to be savable somehow, or combat styles is going to be 95% useless. 2. Bugs and glitches everywhere! Some talents don't seem to work, several bosses and loot are glitchy...the list goes on. 3. Gearing so far seems horrendous. Yes, it's one day in, but if getting a single upgrade is going to be this big of a pain, then a lot of people are going to nope out pretty quick. The Ugly: 1. The UI. It makes my eyes bleed and my brain hurt. *So* m any unnecessary changes. Inventory bad. Trying to change gear bad. Character viewer...seriously, why the top down view? So dumb. So dumb...
  6. Problem mention, but silent on the solution. If we have to wait a month to six weeks for a fix there are going to be a lot of angry people, myself included.
  7. This isn't a bug. The GTN gets a 6% cut, plus you lose your deposit. It's essentially a sales tax. Example: You place a stack of mats on the GTN for 100,000 credits with a deposit of 1,000 credits. The stack of mats sells. Your net profit is 100,000 - 0.06(100,000) - 1,000 => 100,000 - 6,000 - 1,000 = 93,000. So you net 93,000 credits after the "tax" and deposit.
  8. The Republic-side Voss heroic mission [Cyber Mercenaries] has reverted back to its old form and requires more mercenaries to complete than are available in the phase. The bonus requires 30 mercenaries, but only 26 are available to kill.
  9. The Bioware mission statement: If it's worth nerfing, it's worth nerfing into the ground to piss off 3/4 of the player-base. To make it worse, there was absolutely no reason for this nerf in the first place- for many of us it was our primary source of income. And we shouldn't be forced to run stuff like that in groups if we don't want to. I hate getting hung up on people that don't know the fast way of doing missions, or, worse yet, don't space bar through conversations. MMOs need to have their solo content as well as group content. Un-nerf this crap, Bioware. This was a terrible decision.
  10. /signed I've leveled 24 characters and done all of the events. I'm not doing it all 8 more times because of Bioware's shortsightedness and stupidity.
  11. I have been in this game since beta. There are some glitches, quirks, and other such features I've learned to live with over the past few years. (Force charge/leap sometimes under/overshooting the target by a large margin and dual saber throw not hitting non-LOSed targets under certain circumstances, for example.) The one thing that still drives me nuts - and I know I'm not alone on this - is how much crowd control NPCs (especially trash mobs) have in this game. But getting stunned, knocked back, then snared by a single trash mob is obscene. So much CC does not add difficulty to the game, it merely adds to the annoyance factor, especially when playing melee. (Although getting harpooned then knocked back, stunned, and interrupted on a caster when trying to kill certain droids is also rather annoying.) NPC crowd control is something that needs to be nerfed, and it needs to be nerfed four years ago.
  12. Very easy solution to not piss off those of us that have been here since the beginning and don't want to level each class AGAIN: Make the rewards retroactive! It's really not a tough concept.
  13. Not allowing these rewards to be retroactive is a monumental slap in the face to the long-time players of the game and an epic charlie foxtrot in planning ahead. Some of us don't have the available character slots or the time to start and finish 8 new characters in the next few months. And frankly, when some of us have already leveled at least 1 of each class already, it seems pretty pointless to have to level each class AGAIN. The lack of retroactive reward is typically short-sighted on Bioware's part. Am I surprised at the lack of foresight on the devs' part? No. Just disappointed. Again. Still.
