  1. Because you dont like have a higher top end and a tighter damage range apparently. The rifle matters a lot.
  2. People like getting stuff. There are 3 grades of purple gear right now from pvp and pve you'll notice everyone has champions mostly, or tioneese gear. While a small minority is holding on to the best gear.
  3. You are comparing a 7 year old game with a 4 week old game. The development time is orders of magnitude larger at this point. They have had the TIME to iron them out. So comparing SWTOR now to WoW now is like comparing a startup to IBM in term of current performance.

  7. Tier 3 is only 4 rating higher than 2 so its not as big of an upgrade as from 1 to 2.

  10. Any 'blaster' type weapon will detonate it. Meaning BH pistols, OP rifles, Sniper rifles etc, the restriction prevents lightsabers from blowing them up.
  11. Hey so lets give away this huge secret to Bioware's stupid puzzle. ON HARD AND NIGHTMARE MODE YOU MUST SOLVE THE PUZZLE IN 8 TURNS Here is the *********** solution to it. Find where you start then count the optimal path Right Panel Purple -> White -> Yellow -> Blue -> Green -> Red -> Purple and so on Left Panel Purple -> Red -> Green -> Blue -> Yellow -> White -> Purple and so on Problems 1) You cannot solve the puzzle in 8 turns every time (We have had solutions as low as 7 and as high as 13) 2) The puzzle does not reset properly without a zone reset You make an encounter with 0 room for error and then make it so the zone has to be reset each time and then does not work properly each time. Rule one of making a puzzle that has to be solve din X turns, make sure all possible solutions occur within X or make your win condition the maximum value.
  12. So there is this really tricky thing called balance, and in MMO's you need this balance stuff in droves. Giving a class a 50 meter range, while having it maintain immunity to interupts, immunity to charge in a 120 degree arc, and large burst damage would over power the class. Even if snipers could start damaging you but the damage was 50% of max at max range but the time any other class closed to 30 m they would be dead or nearly dead. More range is not needed sorry please go back under the bridge you came from.
