  1. I bet you used to play wow, and I bet you were on their forums too about Druids, Warlocks, Paladins, Rogues... And on, and on, and on... EDIT: DOH, necroposting FTW...
  2. No it isn't, it's like starting a football game and deciding to change your college major before half time. IE: I attended combat training, but now I am going to enroll in medical school and finish it right quick between plays.
  3. It makes all of those god-awful bonus grind quests almost tolerable... 30ea and then 45ea Black Sun forces anybody?
  4. Thus the potential for amusement. To clarify, I envisioned it as having whatever it's normal cooldown is until used inside a WZ. Once used inside a WZ the 24hr cooldown would be triggered.
  5. The 1.5 second delay is what I specifically saw mentioned, I can't remember where I found that thread. However, the Migrant Merchant Guild was educated as to the current effectiveness of Mortar Volley lastnight. Thank you very much for the reply, I am now very happy to move forward with my surrogate Bounty Hunter. My nephew and my son want to play Republic, and I was very worried I would be unable to more or less duplicate the playstyle of my BH. Fortunately my fear was unfounded.
  6. I saw in an older thread somebody saying that mortar volley, had an issue at the time where it didn't trigger properly causing it to do a reduced amount of damage. Is that still an issue that mortar volley has? Mortar volley is troopers death from above right?
  7. Although...continuing to allow field respec in WZ's and giving it a 24hr cooldown has some amusing implications.
  8. These forums need a like button for posts like this. /like
  9. There is no way field respeccing once either PVE or PVP content has started is a good or smart idea. Not a thing wrong with it all the way up to the point that the content goes into motion, but not after that. Those are choices that should be made in preparation. Needing a respec during a WZ = lack of preparation and should be penalized by being forced to go in as you are.
  10. This will help with the notion that wow was the first MMO. http://biobreak.wordpress.com/mmo-timeline/
  11. It totally was not even nearly the first MMO.
  12. Agreed, and I personally am not a fan of a moving level cap, I'd just as soon see new content without that. Like I said, I like the time frame the game is in now, I was just curious if they had any plans.
  13. I'm not all that invested in this happening, I like this time frame/level cap, I'm just curious.
  14. Or characters in future timelines being descendants of our current characters (Legacy anybody?)
