yeah guardian mods are generally a bad idea as a sentinel. and watchmen isnt that good against trash mobs because of all our dot's, but you should be able to tear golden's apart. edit: btw, I currently play a 42 sentinel myself and have only used kira so far. battles are pretty short but you need to keep your finger near the interrupt button.

It was bred-in. in the movies the kamino-ans(idk how you spell it) told obi-wan that the clones are made to perfectly follow orders. And because Palpatine is the official leader of the republic(remember, he was granted the emergency powers that gave him complete control over the republic) , the clones will follow his every command. Plus I believe that Palpatine was planning this even before episode one.(edit: made this post before the person above me editted his~~)

The problem with maul, was that he was never a ,real' sith. even Sidious admitted maul was a beast and a tool. Sure he had fighting skills but that's where his skills end.
