  1. People care about ranked in SWTOR? LMAO
  2. This game just has incredibly ****** optimization. In games like WoW and GW2 I can get extremely good performance with 60+ players in PvP, yeat in SWTOR the FPS tanks in 8v8 warzones. Absolutely pathetic.
  3. Alert! Two merc cucks detected! Ranked in SWTOR? I don't think there is a better joke out there. Nobody cares. Still does not change the fact that an absolute moron can burst someone else down by smashing his/her face on the keyboard. Regardless of how bad a player is, it is still the class that allows him to outperform considering his/her skill level. Sorcs and Mercs seem to be perfect examples for this.
  4. Because it is one of the most scrub-friendly classes that could get someone from 100% to 20% health in an instant by smashing your face on the keyboard. Mercs/Mandos know this is nothing but the truth. Just look at how ferociously this female dog merc above is barking when it comes to defending his noob class.
  5. PvP in this **** game is dead and it will never get better. The developers have clearly showed us how unwilling they are to invest in the game in order to improve the PvP-related issues. Listen to Snave's latest interview.... Anything that might actually improve the game is "too costly"... What does that tell you about the future of this game? All we can expect is ****** story chapters as they turn this game into more of a single-player RPG than it already is.
  6. People are saying annihilation/watchman is fotm now? Where are the average players putting up good numbers/doing good with it? Where are they? The same goes for carnage. Where is the evidence of bad players doing good with either of the specs? There is NONE. A spec can only be called overpowered if the worst players can do decent with it. This is not the case. People calling annihilation/watchman "fotm" are just jumping on the usual trendy bandwagon of pointing fingers at specs they don't like. How people can even think that anything about the sentinel/marauder class is "fotm" right now is beyond me. Especially when all you need to do to execute a successful DPS rotation as a mercenary or powertech is to plant your *********** face on the keyboard. But a spec that requires more than 2 buttons to play is "fotm". Go figure.
  7. I have not done group ranked in a month and a half if not more... Kinda sucks considering group ranked is so much more interesting rather than the derpy yolos.
  8. ROFL @ this guy. Yeah sure, give incredible passive healing to a heavy armor dps. I could give 2 ***** if this was exclusive to tank tree, but DPS - lel. No matter how much you **** up in a fight, there is always the "watch out mum here I come again" button that no matter how *********** bad you are is going to save you and give you a second fighting chance.
  9. It does not need burst. If you want burst, after you get your stacks of merciless, start timing your master strike as your dots are ticking and as your merciless slash is coming off cooldown. Clip it as you get the last tick by immediately doing a merciless slash (similar to the master strike + bladestorm combo). If you want better burst than this, play combat. Watchman is perfectly fine as it is right now.
  10. Unbelievable... The good players always managed to perform with it in pvp before 2.7. Now it is INCREDIBLY powerful for those who know how to push the spec to its limits. (Been playing watchman since release.)
  11. Learn to play watchman and combat.
  12. Am I the only one to think that the sentinel class is in a really good spot now? After the buffs, watchman offers formidable sustained damage with occasional nice burst and good survivability. Combat trades some survivability for insane burst and utility. Focus has decent single-target pressure combined with decent aoe pressure (not retardedly overpowered as it used to be, but still some pressure nonetheless). But let us be honest, anyone who can play watchman and/or combat at least decently will never have to resort to using derp smash as they offer far more potential for skilled players to excel. Except on some particular occasions. This whole "lel sentinels/marauders are underpowered" movement started after the well deserved nerf of smash. This was the go to spec for a lot of the average and less than average players who liked the idea of putting up big numbers without putting in the effort. Incredibly easy to use and incredibly potent in terms of damage. This is never a good combination. Now matter how bad you were, you could still put up numbers with smash. All classes should provide the tools for skilled players to excel. In my opinion, the developers should not balance the classes around average or below average players who instead of working on getting better, rely on "something getting changed" or "something getting buffed" for them to perform... What are you? A hungry dog waiting under the table for some scraps? That is how classes get overpowered. When the average players perform well with a particular spec/class (guardians/juggernauts and probably pts/vanguards right now), what do you think happens to the skilled players? Those same people who know how to push their specs/classes to the limit become way too powerful. So to put things into perspective... In the current state of the game, a sentinel can REALLY excel as watchman, as combat and hell, even as smash if you like being limited by this noobish spec. The first two specs offer incredible potential for GOOD players to excel and that is what matters. It could be argued that some changes could be made to guarded by the force, but anything over that is completely unnecessary.
  13. Dotsmash was absolutely stupid. There is a difference between a hybrid being a viable alternative and it being just ridiculous. It had insane single target AND aoe DPS. The people using the "hybrids should exist card" never provided any arguments justifying its over the top benefits and instead cowered behind broad statements regarding hybrid builds as a whole. Why? Because they were the ones using it. All of the veteran players wanted it gone - it is them who brought this up to BioWare's attention. Regardless, it is gone and good riddance.
  14. Yes. No more high numbers for noobs who rely on abusing broken game mechanics. I do not care what anyone says, dotsmash was the spec of the spineles as it required no skill to play. Same goes for smash before the nerf. Not that it still is not a 2 button spec for brain-dead chimps who can't play the other two specs to save their lives.
