  1. Too good to not be on the front page.
  2. As you can see I play several classes. I'm just stating the facts brah.
  3. Full Sab sucks. Even the Devs said so themselves. Wall bang is extremely easy to avoid. They literally have to be right on top of you and then pin you against the wall to use it. It's so easy to see it coming and so easy to counter I don't see how anyone other than noobs have a problem with it. None of my toons have ever been wallbanged... ever. And when I play full Sab on my Slinger I have to litterally be trying to do it the entire match and I might get one off that actually kills someone. Its not even worth it. The Stealth detect feature they added to cover only helps against careless Stealthers. If they pop their Blackout/Sneak then it only works in a frontal Cone so you can sneak behind the Sniper and he'll still never see you coming. Also, most Stealthers just pop Blackout/Sneak and then Roll/Force Speed in and open up on you like normal. By the time you see them they are already on you.
  4. Snipers are strong but they aren't OP. A Sniper has to pick his spec wisely for group PvP. Does he want to be Single Target burst but be highly mitigated by defensive cooldowns and very vulnerable to LOS, or does he want to be AOE DoT damage which puts on a lot of AoE pressure but their burst will be highly mitigated by Cleanse and their team will never be able to use long duration soft CC's like Awe. Smash is a problem because it's good in every group PvP situation. It's AOE, it's burst, it's instant, and there are no drawbacks to smash like having to DoT up multiple targets making them immune to soft CC.
  5. Love it Melyn. I don't even play a Sorc and reading the Dev response to their comments pissed me off. Great job.
  6. Defense chance does not reduce the chance to hit with Tech attacks, so you should not be missing any Tech attacks in PvP unless your Accuracy is debuffed. Operation Bosses, however, have a 10% Force/Tech Resist chance on top of their 10% Defense chance which is why PvErs will miss with Tech attacks even if they are not debuffed unless they have at least 10% Accuracy. Alas, this is not PvE though =).
  7. 90% Accuracy only applies to your Base Attack (Hammer Shot), all other attacks are Special Attacks and have a base accuracy of 100%.
  8. The diminishing return on crit isn't what's bad; it's overall value compared to the damage power brings is what is bad.
  9. Aim doesn't increase accuracy. It increases bonus damage and crit chance. As a Commando you probably shouldn't go beyond 5% accuracy in PvP. Accuracy is very situational, and the value it provides scales based on the number of white attacks you use versus your opponents defensive rating. For a Commando, Accuracy will only benefit your Hammer Shot, Charged Bolt, High Impact Bolt, and Full Auto abilities in PvP. Furthermore, Accuracy is only effective when you have as much Accuracy as your opponent has Defense. Once your Accuracy surpasses your opponents Defense then it is essentially completely useless and does nothing for you. Considering every class except Consular/Inquistior has a base Defense of 5% (Consular/Inquisitor has a base Defense of 10%), it is beneficial to your white damage attacks to take Accuracy up to 5%. Accuracy after 5% for a Commando will only benefit your Hammer Shot, Charged Bolt, High Impact Bolt and Full Auto abilities, against Consulars/Inquistors, all tanks, Knights only when Saber Ward is popped, and Gunslingers/Snipers in cover. Considering that Commando's DPS rotations are half Tech damage and half Ranged white damage, accuracy becomes far too situational for me after 5%, thus why I suggest not taking more than 5% on a Commando in PvP.
  10. Nerf Commando heals. I think I saw one in PTS arenas all weekend so obviously the Devs aren't doing their job well enough.
  11. Alex, you said the intent of 4v4 arenas was to take the Player vs Environment aspect completely out of this kind of PvP, yet the Acid you are suggesting as a solution for dealing with stealth classes and turtle comps seems to be exactly the type of Environmental effect that players will try and exploit. As you can see from this thread, teams are already strategizing on how to use the Acid to gain an advantage. What stipulations do you have in place to ensure that Arenas don't turn into an Acid knockback/pull CC match instead of an actual PvP Deathmatch.

    CW Speeders?

The speeders never helped a team attack a node, they only helped defenders defend it, so there was never an element of surprise an attacking team achieved by taking a speeder directly to a side node. Mid has always offered a scout point advantage even when speeders flew directly to the off-nodes and that is by design. Whichever team takes mid has the scout point advantage but they still have to use it, call it out, rotate the right amount of people to defend against the attackers, and then still win the battle. Controlling mid does not automatically mean you'll be able to take and defend every node and win the game which is what you are saying. Is that retort valid enough for you? Or are you still thinking of ways to get off the speeder pad when mid is captured?

    CW Speeders?

I learned my lesson about arguing with you in the last meaningless QQ post you made. Winning an argument against you is like winning the Special Olympics; Even though I'd win, I'd still be retarded. So, I have offered my advice and now I will respectfully bow out and let you go on with your QQ thread about getting farmed at the speeder pad in Civil War. Good luck.

    CW Speeders?

Well considering both teams know which Nodes are capped, I think it's safe to assume that they know you're going to hit one of the capped nodes. If you drop left you and your team can decide to go Backdoor Mid, underneath and hit right, or go Underneath and mid. It's not the Dev's fault you don't understand the map. Also, your original point wasn't that dropping mid gave the other team "location intel", you were QQing about getting farmed on the speeder pad. Maybe go back and read your own posts before you call out someone else's comprehension?
