So... Is there any major storywide differences as a Consular between being LS or DS? The more "ambigious" you can be, the better

My personal opinion is that Nihilus, in terms of raw power, was > anything. However, he paid a price far in excess of what he gained; he was, as far as i remember Kreia putting it, "just hunger". No desire, no passion, barely intelligence, simply all-consuming, himself included. He was more of a force of nature than a force of being. The Dark Side taken to an extreme, aptly likened in this thread, to a black hole. I think, that if any of the sith in the empire was confronted with the pros and cons of Nihilus... That none of them, power hungry as they are, would be willing to pay that price. They might be enticed and consider it, but confronted with the full scope of it, I sincely doubt any of them would take the deal. How is that old highlander quote again... "Better to burn out than fade away?" I believe that applies very much in this case ^^ It does beg the question... What the H was in his Holocron? And how/when did he make it? A force of nature doesnt exactly keep a diary

There is a big difference between Nihilus and Vitiate. But yes, any sith who knew what he was up to would plan to overthrow him. In fact, I am counting on it being the reason for him, some time in the future, becoming an Operations boss.

Sith aren't "aliens". Usage of the Dark Side puts you above whatever species you belong to in the empire. From my point of view, once you have earned the distinction of sith, what species you are/were is no longer important. All that matters is power.

Hmm, let me see... One that was win for the pure darkside: "Serenade the Jedi with the screams of the innocent" - me: "Oh god am I glad i play the villain". Sometimes at the end of SW act 1: "I WILL NEVER FALL!" - the delivery as a male was just awesome.

Would like to see some force using companions for non-force using characters It HARDLY seems fair that Jedi and Sith gets all variations of smugglers, bounty hunters, agents and troopers as companions, but the rest of us? No force loving :'< Suggestions: Troopers - liaison with the Jedi, because the army and jedi need to be able to work together well. Agent - an apprentice of a certain sith lord. I won't spoil anyone, dont worry. Smuggler - Jedi "princess"/"prince". Because if there is anyone that should be able to charm the robes of a jedi, I would have thought it to be the smuggler. And we need that ^^ Bounty Hunter - Hmm. An Exiled (read: unaffiliated) jedi. Would still fit in with the whole free spirit thing they got going.

Hmm, let me see... Darth Vader - Because, ever since watching the original trilogy over a course of three weeks with my dad as a kid, he has captured my imagination. Besides, I actually find the Fallen Jedi aspect more interesting than the full-blown sith thing. Darth Revan - Especially the now non-canon Dark Side version. Because Revan was mine (at the time) to be and shape. Darth Maul - Well, not much about him, but you got to agree, he had style Darth Sion - I find him more interesting than Nihilus. There is something about prefering to avoid death and living in constant excruciating pain, rather than give in and perish, that is just so very Sith. Darth Traya - Surprised we haven't had a character like her on either of the sith characters. A mentor that is not really just our master. She just scream "mysteries of the force". I adored her. Sith Emperor - Pure power, pure selfishness. Pure sith. Can't go much wrong there. Darth Sidious - For all of his immense skill with the force, his greatest achievement was achieved by manipulation and politics. It is hard not to respect that. He always struck me as the most farsighted force user.

In Star Wars, it is all about destiny. That is, from my point of view, the entire point of the Force. The Good guy wins because they were meant to. If they fail, likewise. The paths are many, but there is a set destination. Anakin learned that the hard (read: immolated) way. If a Certain jedi is meant to overthrow a certain sith, it doesn't really matter if he is that much more powerful. He will be overthrown. Likewise, if a Sith is meant to, I don't know, bring the republic to its knees and end the jedi order, then he will.

Lots of good points in here. I would also like to add that the Sith of this era are often the result of generations of their lifestyle. They only know hatred, cruelty, and one way to power. If you had never known anything else, I do not find it that hard to believe that that is the right way. Personally, I love the empire. It's different. Yeah, compared to our modern world ideas, they are evil... But this is a galaxy far, far away

As would I. However, it could be difficult. Class Qs are meant to be doable solo. That's kinda their point. if you have to LF a partner, only to end up with some ... who either goes "ZOMGSKIPTEXT PLZ!", or who ends up winning every interesting conversation roll... Hmm. Perhaps they should be sub-class quest. Like a bonus thing. Seperate storylines / vaguely connected to the main story, so as to still leave the choice up to each person. And of course... Spoilers: Jedi Knight and SIth Warrior Qline:

Having played the DS warrior, I want to echo the previous statement that DS end of act 1 is the MOST EPIC MOMENT in this game. No question. It is all a true sith fan should want. Play it, enjoy it... then make another DS warrior and do it again That's what I did (Wanted a jugger instead of my mara )
