I had an idea for healers: What if tanks can taunt them using the same taunts they do for dps, ofc they can't force a healer to attack them but what if they lowered the heals to all team mates by 30 %. Whilst the aoe taunt would work on all heals the single one could be targeted to the scoundrels giving them slightly less healing output than the others. This would also pressure the tank to make better choices, are the healers doing more to affect the game than the dps who should I target with my single taunts etc? This may also lead to dps doing more and more ppl dying which judging from some other posts seems to be a problem.

That's one of the two classes I haven't played to level 50 xD, it sounds good I might try it, but over all I was thinking of maybe a more class tree specific thing because currently everything seems to be dps/ tank/heal. Some classes even have 3 DPS trees why not make a tree for buffs/ debuffs and auras. Instead of just bolting on these abilites to classes which already have roles and niches?

Does anyone know why there are no classes with abilities to prevent other classes from using abilities? For example a sorcerer/ sage is supposed to be the best at using force abilities so why not give them an ability to prevent others from using their force attacks (maybe replace a stun). Maybe warriors could get a disarm to stop classes from using abilities instead of a stun. Also why are there no classes that have passive auras or AOE buff spells e.g. battle meditation or something like that?

Sounds like capture the flag, which I hate in fps however I think game mechanics here allow for a lot of varied strategies. Sounds good to me baring in mind we currently have to territorial based game types, a kill fest in void star and hutt ball which is just odd. I think this should provide a nice mix between objective and slaying. Anything would be welcome to freshen things up a little though.
