  1. I agree with you, although I'll usually suffer through the 7 minutes just to get the daily/weekly done (first-world problems). If I'm on a team that clearly has no interest in or ability to play the objectives, I'll just go off and do my own thing. If I'm on a junk team AND getting piled on by four players who are obviously in a premade, I'll leave or just go off in a corner so they don't get the satisfaction of repeatedly killing me. Having to also fight the environment on Quesh & Vandin ain't exactly my idea of fun, either. That brings me to another point: premades, with their organization, their having tanks and healers who actually know their roles, are preventing us average players from getting better. It's hard to play when you're constantly dead and have no support. I know, I know "get gud." Whatever. Unless you're a Wayne Gretzky or Mario Lemieux of PVP (or have combat stealth off cooldown), it doesn't matter how good you are when a bunch of skilled opponents jump you all at once. Once in a while, you do get on a good team and can actually contribute without getting jumped by a million enemies at once, so I guess hold out for those opportunities? I don't know. Agreed that the system is crummy as is. Why three maps of Crapball were deemed necessary, too, is beyond me. Only one or two other simulations have more than one map, and no others have three.
  2. Quite simply, can we have quick travel points at the different arrival nodes in our strongholds? The speeders aren't sufficient. While not a priority, I think *** would be neat and would make decorating & hanging out at strongholds a little more fun and convenient.
  3. The following has been an ongoing issue for several months. I'm sure there are other posts about it, but I haven't seen the developers mention any upcoming fix, so I'm hoping it's on the radar. We can only have one active arrival point at each of the Yavin, Rishi and Manaan strongholds (I haven't tried Alderaan). In other words, we used to be able to have different characters appear at different points in each stronghold. Now they all arrive at the same one: the default arrival point if we don't set anything, or a different one if all characters using that stronghold click on a particular arrival point node. We've invested all this time, credits and effort into decorating the things, and now we can only enjoy one part of it without the hassle of travelling all the way to a different part of the massive grounds (Rishi is especially extensive). Surely the worldwide lockdown doesn't apply to our strongholds as well as our real-life communities!
  4. Have you tried looking in your materials box to see if they accidentally got stashed there? I've put them in there myself on a number of occasions before sticking them in the legacy bank. To open the materials bay, go to your inventory and hit the diamond-shaped icon on the tab at the left side of it. Then type "encryption" (or whatever applicable term you like) in the search box. If you sent them there, the encryptions will be under miscellaneous ( I think), which you'd then have to also open to get them.
  5. I read here that it's a bug the devs are working on. What I want to know is, if you do this cartel market quest, can you get the HK-55 helmet and weapons that were subscriber rewards a few years ago?
  6. The mail and priority transport (ie. emergency fleet pass, stronghold travel, and quick travel) are all experiencing lag on Satele Shan as well. Numerous players are bringing it up in chat, and I noticed a huge lag with fleet travel. I even logged out of the game after getting fed up waiting for emergency fleet transport to activate. When I logged back in, I didn't even get to select one of my 12(?) characters. I was automatically taken to the one that had been in the middle of fleet transport, and that character was on fleet (whether that's good or not I can't say).
  7. It would be really nice if you could preview different dye combinations on different pieces, too. Right now you can only preview a look for one dye only, or no dye at all.
  8. I finished KOTFE story on one of my 70's who'd previously had Hexid disappear. She got an alliance alert, and Hexid was returned, albeit with 0 influence (it hadn't been high to begin with, and may well have been 0. I don't recall). Doing KOTFE might be a workaround. I haven't tried replaying Ch.9 on my other 70's who've lost her.
  9. Same here. On my characters that acquired Paxton, Hexid is unavailable. Two of my LVL 70's who haven't started Jedi Under Siege still have access to Hexid. I'm not sure whether it's starting the Ossus arc or getting Paxton that's breaking her, but I'd really like her back since I've put some expensive gear on her, and she's pretty cool. Bring Darth Hexid back!
  10. Ditto. If the location makes any difference, it's specifically on the dock (the default entrance point) of the Rishi stronghold.
  11. You're right about the new gear. I easily completed the most recent story, not to mention the previous flashpoints, and can get the 8 PVP medals in 230 or 236 equipment. For basic gameplay, grinding for the new gear isn't necessary. I can't speak to ops or hardcore PVP, though. The grind does look like a more tedious process than normal that I'm happy to avoid.
  12. Fortunately not. Hopefully that means the story hasn't been affected by his resurrection.
  13. In The Nathema Conspiracy, my character 100% left Theron to die. I even have the email from Lana about it. Now, when I accepted the Inflection Point mission from my ship's terminal, Theron joined me as a summonable companion (and worse, he's naked). I'm not sure whether this is a known issue, or how far his "resurrection" extends into the plot. At this point I'm pretty unhappy that my choice to leave him to die apparently didn't stick (unless he miraculously escaped or something).
